We booked Hyatt Regency for three non-consecutive nights for hop-offs between St. Moritz and Lapland, then finally home to US, and it more than exceeded our expectations. I’d say it’s the best airport hotel, but, while it certainly is that, it is also one of the best hotels anywhere. The staff doesn’t miss a beat, rooms are exceptionally clean, room service expedient and with extremely courteous personnel, food absolutely delectable! Hyatt Regency Zürich is exemplary all-around, a team of consummate professionals, qualities that are an increasingly lost art in the hospitality industry, even in the luxury category. They should be proud of themselves!

Excellent location, just next to check in terminal as well as arrivals. It’s great for travellers arriving and leaving from Zurich. Very spacious and beautiful clean rooms with great facilities.

Our rooms were not ready when we showed up for check in at 15:45 hours.That was surprising for a hotel of this repute. The written check in time was 15 : 00 hours. I found that highly unprofessional whatever might be the reason. we didn’t face this at any other hotel in entire Switzerland stay. However, the receptionist apologised and gave us the rooms in just next 10-15 minutes time.Not her fault though.

Perfect for early flight

Even though the hotel was almost empty, i got a room for disabled people. I’ve been there many times, i do not need and did not asked for disabled bathroom (with disgussting shower curtain) . Went back to the reception to ask if they had ‘normal’ room. ‘Of course’ they said. Why then?? Why do i have to feel unvomfortable to ask for another room. The explanation was ‘ the stuff did not know it was a special room’… 1. They knew for sure. 2. If she does nit know, she should not be at the reception. Sorry, hyatt regency is expensive enough to care…

Proximity to the airport. The hotel is located in a good complex with multiple choices of restaurants. Proximity to the tram and bus stations is convenient.

The variety of breakfast options could be better, and the price could be lower. Providing only one complimentary bottle of water daily is inadequate for three people. You do not seem to be making any difference between single, double, or triple occupancy. The car parking charges are very high. The hotel should arrange with the airport parking to provide concessional fares to hotel residents.

Everything was perfect from the first to the last minute. The hotel is extremely well located, only few meters and minutes away from the departures. Yet it is incredibly quiet, facing beautiful gardens, while being in a beautiful, modern neighborhood (The Circle) with lots of different nice shops and restaurants. The staff was amazing; friendly and welcoming they made us feel at home during a night. Everyone was really super nice and accommodating. The room was big, modern and very clean. We had a great time and will definitely come back to Hyatt next time we need to catch a flight!

1. The service staff at the restaurant was slow and not very responsive. 2. I called room service the previous afternoon and asked them how best to order room service breakfast for the morning before my flight. They told me to complete the relevant form and hang it on my door. I did it and called them to pick it up (which they did). In the morning, as my breakfast was not coming, I called room service to check the status and they advised that they had no orders. Fortunately there was a very helpful man in room service who took my order and made sure that my breakfast arrived within 7’.

Everything was excellent. We landed in Zurich as a transit stop to Grindelwald. We slept in the hotel on the day of landing and the day before returning home. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance from the airport and the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions and directions. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was large and comfortable. A very good breakfast with a variety of fruits, juices, breads, sausages, granolas, yogurts, and a team that prepares different omelettes upon request . A spacious gym with a wide variety of equipment, towels, water and glasses. The spa area is separated, and everything looks clean and meticulous. We really enjoyed a delicious and special dinner at the hotel restaurant. We will definitely return to the hotel again

Design and cleanliness

Room service was terrible. Chicken was dry and over cooked and the French fries were soggy. Was very disappointed and when I complained about it no one offered to take any items off the invoice which I find very poor. I am a Hyatt customer and just stayed for a week at the Wellem in Dusseldorf and the food experience was completely different! Extremely well done. Airport hotels need to make more effort with room service as it’s a service people like when traveling

We loved that we could just get off the plane and walk directly to the accommodation before our flight the next morning. When its late and you are tired walking only 5 minutes from the airport to your accommodation is very desirable. Although we didn't use the facilities we found the bedding and room size to be great. We needed to fly out of Zurich and return it two week and they allowed us to leave my husbands luggage of suits in storage for collection on our return which was super helpful

Cannot fault this accommodation.

Just get down from hotel room and walk to airport terminal Shopping and dining is available within the complex Migro hypermarket is nearby within Shopping Tram, Metro and busses are just outside and easy access to city center within few minutes

1. Bathroom sliding door was not moving. No one came for repair after inspection 2. No luggage concierge 3. Google location was misleading, showing hotel located far outside somewhere. Notified to reception on this issue and they admitted and working for rectification
