Everything went well. I came to the graduation ceremony of my son and really enjoyed staying in the hotel. Service was good and atmosphere was like in the days of Queen Victoria. Very useful and convenient that the hotel has their own parking.

The pricing was rather on a high side and the hotel kitchen got closed till 17:00 like everything in Switzerland, though such level of the hotel should operate in my opinion 24/7. But I got recommended with a very nice Italian restaurant/cafeteria called “Gzhovanni” with very delicious food, in particular, spaghetti and minestrone soup, and which was open 11:00-22:00. it have been literary around the corner, just about 150 m from the Hotel on the right side and is highly recommended))

Hotel typical of its 19th century epoch, but well renovated and updated. Perched high above the lake . A lot of charm, elegance, and atmospheric ambiance, decorated with lots of art. Our room, in a corner on the upper floor had fantastic views over the lake and the mountains. Furnished with original furniture and pieces of art. The bathroom retained a Victorian look whilst discretely incorporating modern plumbing. Wifi works well. Our stay was too short to enjoy the pool the beautiful and the manicured grounds. Reception manager was very welcoming and helpful. Generally, experienced and professional management, well trained staff. Parking (free) available in front of the hotel, safe and convenient. The hotel is accessible by public transport but is set away from the busy town centre. Lunch in the restaurant, in the beautiful verandah overlooking the lake, was excellent. The fixed menu was creative, well executed, and very good value. Breakfast (included in the room price) was excellent, with very good fresh products.

Had to fault, if you like the vintage "Victorian" decor.

Without a doubt this is the best luxury hotel with the best food and staff in Montreux .Family run amazing staff incredible food Service was impeccable We will be back next year for more nights Stunning views and great value for money Easy access into town centre without staying in town centre lovely and peaceful

Hotel Victoria Glion requires a funicular ride up the mountain if you don't have a car. This was the only drawback because once you enter the grounds you are blown away with the beauty and charm of the property and the hospitality of the staff. Our room had a view one only dreams of, and we took advantage of that with a pot of coffee brought up every morning to enjoy the balcony views. The restaurant provided several delicious meals with excellent service. One cannot stay here without walking on the manicured well-kept property with abundant landscaping everywhere. The staff added to what was a bucket list stay. Thank you to everyone for an outstanding stay

I loved this hotel so much! The ambiance was great. I loved the old world charm of the entire place. The staff was incredibly friendly. The grounds were immaculate! Parking was very convenient. The view was amazing. I stayed in a single, lake view room with a balcony and it was wonderful! The view was breathtaking. I loved the decor of the room and it was so clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There is no A/C but I kept my window open all night and got a beautiful breeze to keep cool. Other members of my party in other rooms requested fans from the front desk which were readily available. The breakfast spread was lovely. I have zero complaints except that I wish I stayed longer!

Overlooking Montreux and Lake Geneva, set in a Mediterranean style sculpture / formal garden, with a genteel, old-Europe atmosphere, this is a gem of a hotel. The staff people went out of their way to take care of us, for example, they got us reservations in the restaurant even though the kitchen was closing. One gentleman, Milos, was extremely helpful and patient with us while we constructed our itinerary and looked for a hotel for the next leg of our trip at the last minute. He was perhaps the most gracious and accommodating front desk professional at a hotel I’ve ever encountered.

We can’t say anything negative, it was great.

A wonderful grand old hotel 2,500 feet above Lake Geneva with a wonderful grand old atmosphere that has managed to maintain its high standards and provides a really memorable stay. Stunning view across the lake (though not from all rooms), comfortable room delightfully fitted out, good bar and restaurant and a lovely outdoor pool.

As others have said, tea and coffee-making facilities in the bedrooms would be nice.

The view is the best view! Big balcony , big suite, size is very good! I feel home here ! Love the location, very convenient but you can enjoy the best view from the balcony! Very good value for the money! Restaurant is providing very nice food! Everything is great but staffs service need to be improve to reach international standard. Hmm, I am not satisfied for the service.

Washroom is a bit too old fashion, no fan. Staffs service are soso, not really matching the standard towards to the hotel. Breakfast is soso, everyday is the same and not may choices. Food quality and presentation are just ok.

The location is unbelievable- unforgettable views across Lake Geneva , Montreux and beyond. The dining area outside added a touch of magic. Stunning Great and warm welcome from Ros at reception

The hotel is a little tired, and no aircon was challenging in the 33C heat. However there is so much character to the hotel and its unique location that you overlook these things very easily

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, it was so much better than we were expecting. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the hotel itself full of curiosities. Staff are what really make a hotel special and it was definitely the case here; everyone was extremely attentive and welcoming. You need to like hotels in the old style, if you're looking for modern this isn't the hotel for you. That being said, it in no way felt dated, it's a lively place making the most of its old world charm. The restaurant is also excellent. High prices as expected but the quality is undeniable. The garden is beautiful and watching the sunset over the lake over dinner was the highlight of our stay.

We were very happy to be able to play tennis on their court; the surroundings are beautiful. However, at no point when we asked about booking the court (on the phone prior to arrival, nor at the hotel) did anyone mention there was a fee for booking the tennis court. At check out we were charged €100 for the two times we had booked. Seeing as it belongs to the hotel this price is extortionate. My husband was too polite to complain and had I known whilst there I would have asked why this is the case. We also used the spa which was lovely and can be booked for an hour. This on the other hand is not charged which is great, but it makes the €50 fee for the tennis court seem even more odd.
