normal hotel compensated with friendly staff, better valued than many other Swiss hotels without helps. location wise ok for Tasch which is very small, 5 mins walk to train station and public car park. Still need to take the train to final destination Zermatt. Breakfast is quite ok, some choices in spacious dining area

the carpark is really cramped so need to be slow and patient. the lift need to get used to as well. shuttle transportation is good but the timing and pickup point in Zermatt is a bit far. can take the train as it is just nearby

Accommodation with free parking is good, except that rooms facing the railway will often be disturbed by passing trains, which affects your rest.

There was a train passing by very late and it was a bit noisy.

We really enjoyed the location. The town is so cute and worth walking around, dinner was good at the restaurant up the street. We enjoyed staying by the alps but not in the major city. The staff were friendly and the room was just as described. Super clean and everyone was very nice.

The rooms balconies are shared and a lot of stuff was on the balcony next to ours with people outside all Hours of the night. We only stayed 2 nights and were there for the alps so it was not that big of a deal just something to note :) We found out quickly that the spa was nude , I should have known but didn’t realize it was nude when I booked it. So anyone who comes from a culture where spas are not nude just know that this spa is nude. The location is super easy to get to using the train/ rail car thing. The tickets to Zermatt are super expensive and it truly is a ski town but if you want to see and experience the Matterhorn this hotel is a great place to stay and then make your way into Zermatt during the day. It worked out great for us!

Beautiful view from the room

Very good breakfast, and close to the train station to get to Zermatt. They also have a shuttle to take you directly there, which is cheaper than the train. Some updates and modernizations are being done. But not yet to all rooms, as ours was a little out of date. But still comfortable. Parking lot available in the building.

Parking lot very dark, specially at night. There is no possibility to get to hotel directly from the parking lot after "closing" ours, so we had to go from the outside to get some things from the car. It's something to improve.

The location was great. We got off the train and turned right. It's about a 5 minute walk from the train station. The hotel was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The view was of the mountains. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast (sausage, eggs, rolls/ croissants, yogurt, lunch cheese, cereal, and a few other things). It was very easy to take the train from Zurich to Tasch. The train ends in Tasch. The next morning, we got up and took the train to Zermatt. It takes approximately 15 minutes. It was very easy to get around.

Perfectly located at walking distance from the railway station to catch the train to Zermatt. Good selection for breakfast, including fresh fruit. We had the 3p room at the fourth floor. Very noisy with the training running from early in the morning, but with the window closed it’s doable to sleep. There was a little mixup with the bill, but this was fixed very quickly with a prompt refund. The hotel offers a shuttlebus to Zermatt, but we didn’t use it as we wanted to experience the train. Free parking under the hotel.

It would have been nice to have a little fridge in the room, as there’s no bar. The hotel looks a bit outdated and there are hardly decorations to create a nice atmosphere. The parking under the hotel is badly lit and the parking spaces are very narrow.

The hotel is just walking distance from Tasch train station, Tasch to Zermatt is only 1 stop away by train. So its convenient to go to Zermatt from this hotel. The view from our room was fantastic, like postcard picture especially when it snowed. Room & toilet were clean, breakfast was also good. I was sick for a day and need to alter my travel plan, the owner of the hotel was very helpful. He informed us the doctor and we can also extend our stay for another day. After I recovered, I can go to Gornegrat.

Great , good located place to stay if you plan to visit Zermatt , delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, especially a Portuguese guy who was preparing the breakfast but also brought us back from Zermatt with the shuttle bus the hotel offers for a very good price, you just let them know when you want to leave and for coming back from Zermatt you just call them and they come very quick ( we had to wait only 15 min or maybe less!), we were very happy with the fact that we didn’t have to pay extra for the whole day parking after the checking out ! That was really great ! :)
