Location Lake view

Teseo who works on the restaurant gave us exceptional service. He was extremely friendly, fun and accommodating. We felt at home, so much so, we returned three times during our short stay. The food was also delicious! The front desk was also very friendly and helpful. Nice big appartment.

Not many electrical outlets to charge phones. A power bar would be useful. Good to note that certain European outlets won’t work there.

Breakfast was great. A standard Swiss breakfast. The milk, cheese and bakes were really tasty The bus stops at the hotel. But when you come up for the first time from Interlaken or Thun you must know where to get off as the drivers tend to drop you off early and it is a very steep climb The views are very nice. Walk to the village. It is quaint and lovely. The marketplace has some cute shops from where we bought some local produce. You can take the bus down to Interlaken and Thun and take the ride on the lake. It is magical. But it closes at 6 pm. There is a panorama Bridge which the hotel gives discount vouchers for. You have to then pay 4Euros per person. But it is a beautiful walk and we walked beyond to a restaurant and further. Later took the bus back. From the Thun lake cruise you are allowed to hop on and off at different points. We got off at St Beatus caves and trekked up to the stalagmite and stalactite caves. You need warmish clothes there as the caves are rather cold. Need good walking shoes as well. But worth the effort and you can have a hearty meal and but memorabilia after visiting the caves.

Other than breakfast we could not eat at the hotel because service ends at 9 pm most days and at 6 pm on Sundays. The bus services on Saturdays are severely curtailed after 5.30 pm from Thun. So we had to take a taxi back and that is about 13 euros There is good daylight in June and July and you do not realise how late it is. But food stores close and the only one open late is the Coop store at the Thun Hauptbahnhof - the main train and bus station by the lake. Pick up food and carry to the hotel if you are reaching beyond 7 pm.

From Day 1 to checkout everything was perfect! Very good staff and friendly host. Great location with breathtaking view. Breakfast and food was very good. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel and this was very convenient. My husband and I loved our stay so much that we are already looking forward for the next one.

No complain

This is one of the best kept secrets that I have found...and I have been in Switzerland 6 times. The room was clean. The amenities were above average. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Dinner was above average...a little more $ than some..but the value was still good. The room value was the best so far on this trip.

The elevator only went to the 3rd floor and we were on the 4th...such an inconvenience..just kidding...the beauty was we were alone

The views to the lake are just marvellous, the staff super friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, also I have to mention they went beyond and offered us an upgrade for a room with a view to the lake. Super nice!

For a 4 stars hotel there is room from improvement: 1. King size bed should not be divided. 2. Frigobar, welcome snack and foot wear should be offered in the room. 3. There was an event and the noise should be managed better. Other than that, everything was fine!

Very nice hotel , with amazing view on the lake and mountains . The room was spacious and well decorated, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easily available on the spot. We also had dinner at the restaurant and was a very good experience. Breakfast offered a lot of choice , good quality. Easy to get to all points of interest in the area .

Breakfast was ok not much choices but enough for the day. The location is quiet in a beautiful small village. We found out that the hotel is near the bridge that famous after the K-drama series was shoot there. We enjoyed to walk around and took a free bus to Thun.

A bit hot in the room as they do not have air-con. Open window is not our option as we do not want any insect to get in. The room a bit dark.

No black tea (only earl gray). would be great to have water heater for tea lovers in the room as well. Location near the church (at night the bells ring every hour)
