Beautiful setting, lovely style, the apartment was lovely, views amazing

One member of staff didn’t make us feel that welcome. We came back from a long day in the mountains and saw the sofa in the restaurant and thought it would be nice to have a drink there, the lady looked at us and spoke to us as if we were doing something really wrong. She then said ‘no, no, no, no rather patronising, offered us a table but we decided not to do that because of her attitude towards us and we then went up to our room. Most hotels allow you to get a drink downstairs, why is there a sofa there if you can’t sit on it? We were confused and felt like we had some something wrong, she wasn’t that friendly the next morning either at breakfast. Apart from that everyone else was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

the best hotel ever❤️ they upgraded us to a room with balcony! (because they said it might be really tight with the baby cot) bathroom and room was very big clean and warm. kitchen was will equipped. there were a dishwasher that you can use to wash your dishes. bus stops at the hotel front door. it comes every hour. -no elevator- but the reception man helped us with luggage . there was an elevator chair for the handicapped. the breakfast was amazing! lots of choices bread milk fruits nuts cake. free coffee corner (espresso milk and sugar) available all time! the view was breathtaking!

Restaurant food quality was excellent, fair prices (by Swiss standards). Staff were attentive, despite the restaurant being close to full! Jovial relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel & restaurant! Our 2 bed apt had 2 balconies, one which allowed us to see sunrise over the mountains from our beds. Lovely to sit out on the balcony & watch the sunset.... castle & church light up by night was also nice. Apt cleaned daily, which surprised me.. Great value for money! Would highly recommend, we'll be back...

Really minor but it's worth noting that it takes approx 5 mins before hot water is available in the shower, once you know then its no issue! Plenty of hot water at a decent pressure, after the short wait...

every thing .. its a stunning location right on the side of the lake , lovely views across the lake and of the mountains while having breakfast or evening meals , restaurant right next to waters edge , great food , and staff very helpful , lovely walks , and swimming in the lake , room had a balcony which looked out over the lake and up onto niesen mountain ,, good location for public transport ferry port right next to hotel .

down side its popular , lots of foot passengers for the ferry and restaurant is very popular on evenings make sure you book in advance ''its worth it ''. car park at hotel is small 5 cars max ..but there is a carpark just up street 5 minute walk .. hotel rooms are nice but beds are little hard for my liking and no usb ports anywhere in room ?..

From the google map n hotel information, u wouldn't know that, if u walk (about 15 mins to 20 mins), u need to walk uphill n downhill. Though the walk is quite pleasant with nice views but just imagine u walk with luggages! If u drive, this is a nice property for u. Bus runs from train station to hotel is once every hour n service stop in early evening. The hotel has a very nice restaurant n food is delicious.

Reception is not maned even during day time / office hours! Guess their main business is the restaurant.

The views from our balcony were wonderful. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until after check-in finished. I messaged ahead and was given told how to get in if no one was there. Someone waited until we arrived at 11.30 pm. There appeared to be some form of air-conditioning but we didn't need it.. Breakfast was very good. The scrambled egg was delicious. We would happily stay there again.

Nothing. We could easily walk to the station each day but with cases we did need to use the hourly bus.

From start to finish a fantastic experience. Check in was easy and quick and we were provided with complementary travel passes for the bus network. We'd booked an apartment and the first impression was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Both bedrooms opened onto a large private balcony with outdoor furniture and an amazing view over the lake at one side, the marina and town on another and mountains on the third. We then went down to the restaurant for dinner. To be honest we intended going somewhere different every night but the food was so good and reasonably priced (for Switzerland) that we ate there every night. Breakfast was impressive - there's continental and then there's breakfast here. The variety and quality was excellent. The staff are really good, at tentative, polite, welcoming and good humour - the perfect mix. It's perfectly placed - quiet in the evening when we were there but busy in the day. It's well connected, a 10-minute walk to the railway station with an hourly bus service if you want and next to the jetty for the lake cruises. We were only there for 3 nights but didn't want to leave - we will be back.

Absolutely nothing

Great views - We stayed at the "San Renmo" room which has quite a large balcony. The views were from here were awesome! The breakfast was very good too and the hotel is literally by the Schiffstation, so we could literally come out of our room and get on the Boat to towards Thun or Interlaken West to continue enjoying the beautiful views.

The single beds joined together as a double bed, but I guess most hotels have that here in Switzerland.

1.perfect location 2. good restaurant 3. nice employees 4. clean room and perfect price value(we pay 740Euro for 6night)

1. the windows curtain is not dark enough, so we always wake up by the early sun very early 2. the clock in the nearby Schloss always clock on midnight, 6,8 at morning. 3. in restaurant you need to wait 40-50mins for service( maybe this is our fault, because my kid always choose internal table instead of crowd outside tables) and 2 times we pay 7CHF more because the same server always make mistake Kinder Manu into normal manu. Finally we do not ask for those money back just as part of our „Trinkgeld“

Our apartment ‘Riva’ was quite quirky with numerous windows and a large fireplace but very comfortable. The mini balcony was small but had room for two chairs and a table. The views from the room and our balcony were wonderful. The breakfast was the best we had during our holiday with plenty of choice and little extras such as fresh cherries one morning. We ate twice in the restaurant and thought the food was excellent. Great location right by the lake.
