This is a beautiful hotel set in an even more beautiful town of Spiez. We were made to feel very welcome even though we were not perhaps the usual hotel guests as we were looking to explore the area - this is a hotel for those that want to relax by with the spa and watch the world go by. We wished we had used the EV charging and perhaps missed this in the description. Rooms were big and well cleaned - apples in the corridor were welcome and we may have had most of them!! Breakfast was excellent but we could not dare adventure to the dinner.

There is no separate bathroom in the room ( I guess it’s design feature) but I really don’t like it. You can hear everything and it’s not convenient to use at all. Please redesign your room for the future. It makes your hotel really nice .

The staff both at the reception and in the dining hall were very friendly and helpful. The spa and wellness area were very well equipped - enjoyed this very much. The restaurant was excellent: a very enjoyable and carefully-prepared 4-course meal for a very reasonable price! An extra plus was that there was a full vegetarian menu (3 to 5 courses), and not just a meat menu leaving out the meat. Highly recommended!

We selected the least expensive "comfort room" and the bed was not terribly comfortable: the mattress "sunk" a bit in the middle so was not the most comfortable to sleep in. Too bad as the room was fine otherwise! Perhaps just a mattress that needs renewing... The coffee at breakfast was okay, but not great (one cup sufficed - good coffee available in the room though...). My wife and I both appreciate a good cup of coffee, so this is something for the suggestion box. Otherwise, a very nice stay. Would certainly consider returning.

Highest standards of décor and cleanliness. Beautiful antique furniture. The hotel's position, with gorgeous lake views, make it something special.

The high prices. I stayed here twice before and the bar meals were reasonable, but now the'yre off the scale.

Would give 5 stars to the bubble massage pool, views on balcony, breakfast and the checkout services(Got two bottle waters and a small jar of jam - nice small gestures that can make big difference to customers)

Rooms are really basic, not on par with a middle range room of a 4-star. Specifically when we pointed out room has no resemblance of what’s shown on booking.com (we booked comfort room w/ bay view), the solution we got was barely satisfying. We understand the hotel was fully booked hence no way to switch room, but after much negotiation efforts/time spend, all we got as compensation was a welcome drink at bar with LIMITED option.. a 4/star could done better than that

Eveything was amazing!!! The setting is breathtaking, excellent spa, friendly and super-helpful staff, good food, comfy rooms. And the masseuse, Barbara, is an absolute miracle worker! We’ll be back for sure!

The spa facilities were amazing, it was super dog friendly. Perfect locations for walking and relaxing. Beautiful little town to explore, and close to all the amazing sites in Bernese oberland for a day trip. The food at the hotel was really delicious, and the staff was super helpful!!

everything was great: the hotel facilities, the food, the location and a very kind, attentive personnel! Top notch in all respects. The pool area and the salt pool (a humongous jacuzzi!) were my favorites. We celebrated the National Swiss Day at the hotel and we were served an exquisitely delicious dinner.

The location is excellent. We really enjoyed the area. It was great for our dog as well. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the garden very much and both pools. It was very relaxing.

It would have been helpful to know the boat can take you to some great places to visit. Also it would have been good to know that reception was the only place to book the private bath. We ran out of time to use it but I know it would be awesome.

I absolutely LOVED my stay at Hotel Eden Spiez. great location, 5 min walk to the lake and it’s a beautiful walk too. View is amazing, staff is amazing, king size adjustable bed is amazing, outdoor salted spa is amazing, breakfast is AMAZING, message is amazing…

Shower is supposing rudimentary. not a deal breaker anyway, everything else has been perfect.
