The "Adler" is located in a beutiful traditional viliage overlooking great views. It is roomy and spacious and has about 30 parking spaces reserved for it's guests - more than enough. Breakfast was essential yet of very good quality. While in the Adler we needed some advice and help - and it was forthcoming immediatlely, diligently and effectivly. Frau Esther was very helpful and gave us a glimps into the social advantages of real swiss village life.

The breakfast was delicious. We missed pastries and hot foods but we really did enjoy the atmosphere. The area was beautiful and relaxing. You can experience real Swiss life here. The balcony off our bedroom was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was delicious! The rooms were clean! The staff was friendly!

The property needs updated as a whole. We could feel the springs through the mattress and the showers could be made larger and more accommodating. There’s no A/C so we would leave the balcony door open at night to let some cool air in. It would be nice having a coffee pot in the room but not necessary. Having said this, the good outweighed the not so good and we left feeling refreshed.

They managed my booking of three rooms when I missed the due date of August 3; during my booking, those three rooms were booked because my phone calendar was confused. They understood the situation, and they solved it by asking me to stay with the after two days, from August 4 to August 5.

They charged me a deposit of 698 CHF, but nothing has been received since I checked out (August 7). I called them to expedite the payment, but they did not fix the problem and asked me to contact booking.com instead.

It's perfectly located if you have a car. It takes 25 minutes by car to Interlaken station from here. The route is very scenic. The hotel is located on a mountain top. You get a beautiful view of the Alps from the hotel room. The breakfast and the coffee were also very good. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. One can take a walk through a nearby forest located in the mountains.

Everything was wonderful, the staff were very nice, friendly & accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The staff went above & beyond. One of the days we planned a trip to Top of Europe & they even packed all us 4 snacks for our trip. Was a very nice place & we appreciate the service we were given. Best accommodation we had on our whole trip through Switzerland.

Location was good

There was a change in the room, When booked it was apartment but it was filled when we arrived so we got another holiday stay home.. This holiday stay home was not cleaned properly... below the cot there was stinky dust and was not cleaned 3rd person had to sleep on the sofa and linen to sleep was not provided. Treatment was not at good initially as we were brown people.

The location of the hotel, rooms were very spacious, bathrooms are neat and clean, breakfast, for kids the hotel will give you warm milk or make an omelet if asked for, courteous staff, dinner was amazing, rooms are quiet, would love to visit this hotel again.

Great view from a balcony to a small waterfall on a cliff. Very friendly staff, who helped us with small emergency situation late at night. Hotel has some new rooms, and back to 70s ones, and both of them are pretty stylish) I also liked historical pictures in the hall.

Could be a little loud when you have a noisy neighbour at next balcony, because it is very quiet in the village in evenings.

Accommodative and helpful staff, well located (Sigriswil suspension bridge within walking distance), enough parking space. Clean, well maintained and functioning

As always with everything in Switzerland, price is on high side. Breakfast could be more extensive. Somewhat outdated though well maintained, functioning and clean.

Hiked around lake Thun during 4 days and stopped in Sigriswil at the Hotel Adler for the first night. Typical Swiss Alpine Hotel with rustic charme. Although we booked the cheapest option, we were given a room with a balcony and a view over the lake and majestic Niesen mountain. Very quiet part of the village, good dinner on the hotel terrace and nice croissants and more for breakfast. Very good value for money. Shower had great water pressure and felt excellent after a day of hiking.
