Staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included. Rooms very clean. Ski locker room has boot dryers for overnight. Beautiful views off the deck. Approximately 3 min walk to bus stop to Glacier paradise base 6 min walk to Sunnega base. Approx 8 min walk to main strip inn center of town.

Our only real complaint was the shower setup. In a rectangular shower the shower head came off the side and the glass only went half way. So your choice is to shower in a 24” x 24” square or let the floor get soaked. .

Beautiful cosy hotel with exceptional staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, the duvets were like clouds! The breakfast buffet had a good selection of fresh local foods. Our half board option included an amazing 4 course dinner each evening. The staff were so friendly and provided amazing service every evening. The lady on reception even did her own honey to make us a hot toddy when we caught a bit of a cold!

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be appreciated.

I booked one night of standard room and another night of premium room with balcony. When I checked in, the staff assigned me a standard room for two nights. I tried to point this out to him but it appears there was a miscommunication. When I checked out, I pointed this out to the staff again and luckily I got the difference refunded to me. They kept saying that was not their fault but I think it is. Oher than that, the whole stay was pleasant.

Loved the breakfast. Everything fresh. Great bircher and fruits. With staff that attended to everything in the face of the tourist hordes. Room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to town with an easy walk.

A large wardrobe is just wasted space. Similarly the bath with shower that needs to hand held to avoid soaking the room. The balcony was narrow with two plastic chairs and we're didn't use it. Hard to get airflow in the room in the heat overnight and it was hot.

Very comfortable room with balcony. Clean and carpeted, heater working properly. Room big enough for large suitcases. No smoke properties, meaning, no electric kettle in the room. Breakfast quite various and staff was also nice. Since the hotel located uphill and we arrived after sun set, we booked their shuttle for 5Franc/person.

The shuttle driver wasn't rude, but not nice either. You need to rush to get off the train and probably run to parking lot, otherwise he'll left you. And take care of your own suitcases, he wasn't really helpful (at that time).

Close to the train station carrying small bags (if big luggage… good luck cause the walk is quite long and the shortcut involves stairs, walking over railway tracks and a small pathway and a big uphill bit). Friendly and helpful staff, quiet, well insulated, clean, good breakfast.

At breakfast, the table cloths were all dirty from the previous guests… they tried to cover it up with napkins and plates but we could still see it.. not very pleasant to eat on a dirty table!!! Room was pretty small for 3 people, not having a larger tablet under the sink for example to bring in my toiletries and put changing clothes on… I had to put it on the floor… Also, there were 2 large towels for 3 people, we had to go and get another one from one of the armoires in the hallway (had to look into 3 different levels to find one!!!) - the reception was closed later at night when we needed it… Lastly, the rate for the night was literally double the price from 2 guests to 3… I thought that was excessive… had we paid 50% more, I would have understood… but 100% more… come on!

The room was comfortable size for couple, bed is firm & pillow soft, breakfast was great.. Located not too far from the train station. Helpful and friendly staffs.

The location of the hotel is up on a steep slope and smoke can be smelt coming in from balcony.. Showering in toilet is a limit cramped. The acoustic of the windows are limited as sound from people walking outside and the rubbish clearing can be heard.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy, the furniture and the room decorations fit perfectly the spirit of vacation in the Swiss mountains. There is a nice restaurant at the hotel (check the opening hours and make a reservation). The area is quiet; the railway station and Gornergrat Bahn are within a short walking distance.

Our room was lovely. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very, very good with many options. We enjoyed dinner at Holiday Hotel as well and it was one of the best we had in Zermatt. Great location!

Can't think of anything that we didn't like about the hotel. We would highly recommend it.

The room has an amazing view of the Matterhorn, however, it is on the last floor with the ceilings being very low. I am 1.78 cm high and I was hitting my head all the time.

Room on the last floor with low ceilings not apt for people over 1.70 cms. Probably they will ask people how tall they are before assigning the room :)
