From the moment we entered, we were greeted by Tico, who was friendly and very helpful. Our room was not ready as we were very early, but he took some time to give us information on what we could see and do in Zurich. We were told we could wait in the lobby, which was on the 1st floor, and could have some coffee/tea while we waited. We were quite surprised at the entertainment available while you wait. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Zurich. It is within close proximity to restaurants, bars, shopping precincts, and train stations(10 to 15-min walk from the train station in the old town. Our room overlooked the square, and we enjoyed standing at the window, watching people walk past. Music started around 8 pm from a restaurant outside, and we thought it would go all night and were scared we were not going to get sleep, but to our surprise, everything was quiet before 10 pm.

Outstanding hotel staff giving top notch service. Our room was sparkly clean everyday, cleaning services is 5 stars. Our room was spacious with beautiful lighting and blackout curtains. We had a wonderful view of the courtyard where you can see the bustling of people enjoying their surrounding restaurants, and shopping. Breakfast buffet was generous with very delicious selections. Hotel is very close to trams and main station for travel, an array of restaurants, shops, cafés, and banks for currency exchange. Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Zurich and sights!

Location is nice,and the clerks are very friendly. I stayed here for two days everything is great.

Fabulous lounge and communal family room. Comfortable beds. Staff were all lovely and very welcoming.

We were a bit confused about the ‘bar’ cited under the booking.com facilities. When we arrived we were told the bar was closed on a Monday. On the Tuesday we were told the bar was actually not in the same building but just down the next street and we weren’t allowed to bring drinks to our room but we could have water on room service, which wasn’t really what we were after! A glass of wine in the lounge would have made all the difference. The ‘breakfast included’ was basic but came with a price list of foods you could order to pay for, such as soft boiled eggs and cappuccinos. I’ve never come across this before, either breakfast is included or it isn’t. Our suite was great but the bathroom was in need of a refurb.

The location was excellent just in the middle of everything, near the zurich hb main station and 15 minutes by train from the airport . The hotel was very beautiful , clean and with excellent staff:)

The third bad was doing noises when a sleeping person turned from side to side on the night

The family room on the 1st floor was a total bonus, and came in handy when we had jet lag and couldn't sleep at 4am! Breakfast had so many options and was delicious and the staff were so friendly everywhere we went in the hotel. The location makes it easy to put down your bags, get out and explore all of Old Town Zurich!

Bed side lights could not turn off due to hotel's new lighting system. Lights remained dim even at night time and had no choice but to sleep with on. Bathroom fan did not come on, sink plug lever malfunction. More variety with meat option fot breakfast - mainly pork and 1 day chicken. Would be better with labels on what is there, cross contaimination of utensils used to take pork, potatoe, eggs. Just 1 type of milk ' full fat, no semi skimmed, skimmed, soya etc. There seem to be drilling on the Wednesday and Thursday of our stay, which was not helpful.

The hotel was in a great location, near lots of bars and restaurants and christmas market stalls (in December). The hotel was welcoming, homely and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The breakfast included did not huge many options but what they did have was delicious. Eggs, mushrooms, sausages, bread, pastries, cheese and cold meats, fruit and a small cereal selection. The only problems were that they didn’t have any labels on the food and also did not keep the serving spoons specific to each food and as a vegetarian it put me off eating the egg when I saw people use the same spoon for the egg and the meat.

Spacious room (which is hard to find in Europe), the breakout space was excellent and up to date, breakfast was very nice.

Room service is the only missing element but with so many food options on ground level, it’s not a problem.
