The location was excellent, close to station and buses whilst being in the pedestrianised part of the city. The breakfast available didn't have the biggest choice but was absolutely sufficient and we enjoyed it. The hotel has everything you need for a short break whilst being a little dated in the room but all everything works and was comfortable. Suitcase storage was available too which was a big help.

Im struggling to find too much really other than minor points. Hotel is getting old and would benefit from some upgrade work but didnt detract from our experience at all. Another pillow in the room too would have been great but thats it!

- Good price compared to the “too expensive” hotels of Zurich - Clean rooms - near train station which is great for people travelling with luggage - The very sweet receptionist lady who checked me in and out, allowed me to leave my luggage for hours after my checkout inspite of the limited space at the reception desk. - tea/coffee tray was perfect - small fridge and fan were very handy

-The entrance/reception needs renovation, it gives a wrong first impression of this beautiful building . - some people would find it difficult to carry their luggage upstairs to the reception, glad Im fit enough to do that myself - shower curtain could be replaced with a proper shower door , maybe not possible because of the limited space - an extra pillow in the room would be better

The breakfast was tasty. The room is well and convenient organized The room has a kettle to prepare a tee/coffee. The location is great with a lot of possibilities to eat, relatively close to the central station (by foot or by tram) and also, by foot to get to all major sights

There was noise at night, clearly heard from the room from the area around (the downside of the central location) There is a steep staircase to get to the reception with luggage, with no lift (there is a lift to all other floors except this).

All was good. A good bed (without plastic undercover, which horrifies me in many hotels); there was always a friendly person at the desk, day and night; breakfast served natural yoghurt and Bircher-Benner muesli; a nice lazy chair for reading in the room (which I miss in many hotels, even some more expensive ones); excellent location, but no noises at night. Wonderful!

My recent solo stay at Hotel Hirschen in Zürich was nothing short of delightful. The warm and friendly reception instantly made me feel welcome, and the check-in process was swift and efficient. The single bedroom I stayed in was a cozy oasis of comfort. Despite being a solo traveler, the room was spacious enough to provide ample relaxation space. The in-room facilities, including a kettle for coffee & tea, and other small personal care items like body lotion, conditioner, shower cap.The room was spotless and hygienic. I also had the breakfast included in my stay, I thought there were enough options, and the breakfast was good. The hotel's location was also a major highlight. Situated in the city centre, it was within easy reach of Zürich's key attractions, with convenient public transportation options nearby. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations.

Terrific location where you are on the doorstep of a number of great restaurants, tram stops, the river and the train station which is only a 5-10min walk away. We didn’t need to use any public transport while we were here, although, we hadn’t planned to venture far. The customer service from the moment we arrived was brilliant and the cleaning staff do an outstanding job.

The pillows were large but flat square pillows, and more traditional pillows would’ve made for a better sleep for myself personally.

We stayed at Hotel Hirschen in Zurich and found the place to be small but comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only downside was the limited space in the bathroom. However, the hotel's location in the old town is fantastic, bustling with activity and charm. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor considerations. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast was quite decent, adding to the overall positive experience.

Room was cozy, and staff was very helpful. It is within a walking distance of the bus station to take whatever tour you have signed up for. Really close to different restaurants and stores

Somehow disappointed with the breakfast as there wasnt so much variety. And also, there are some stairs before actually getting to the property and can be a pain if you have big luggage

Location was right in the heart of the hustle and bustle. Extremely close and easy to reach the Central train station. Staff were amazing, quick and easy check in, always greeting with a smile. Breakfast staff went out of his way to cater to my requests. Hotel was very clean overall and they cleaned my room and made the bed while I was out.

You have to leave your room key at reception every time you leave the property and when asking for it upon return they don’t check ID or anything if if the staff have changed, you just say true room number and they hand you the keys. It makes me wonder if someone else asked for my room key and they might have given it. The breakfast range was very small and since I don’t eat meat either there was not much of an option for me.

Location of the hotel was excellent in the old town. The hotel room furnishings were very basic and the beds are very low and soft but very clean. The shower is very compact. The breakfast was ample with very little variation. Staff are very friendly.
