The location was the main attraction when I booked, close to the station and still with a great view. I could walk from there and be in the city centre. The two lounges of the hotel are cozy and lovely, with a nice vintage feeling to them. Great to also have a common space to make coffee and keep food in a fridge if needed.

The big downside was not to have an en-suite bathroom but eventually it didn’t weigh too much in the overall experience. I really found the room exposed to the noises from the street, even though I loved the view. A fan was provided but it was too warm to close the window. The insulation between rooms is also not enough, I could hear people talking on the phone and banging things around next door.

It is the central to all touristy places you wanna visit around Zurich, with halal/non-halal food within reach - an ideal, reasonable and clean hotel with a lift to stay if you're not looking for hostel or anything grandiose. It is also a 10-12 mins walk / 3 tram stations away from hotel to Zurich HB, we checked-out the hotel at 4am, walked, and is able to catch the first 4:30am train to the airport.

The hotel is directly underneath a bar / restaurant where the crowd can get lively late into the night. It wasn't disruptive as it kinda blends into the city ambience as we stared out the window into the starry night skies~

The staff here are exceptional - friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me. This was a temp hotel that got renewed for another 4 years so the facilities are dated and bare minimum. However, some rooms are better than others as are the showers/toilets on other floors so feel free to gander. The room unfortunately you wouldn't have much choice in as you select and pay for it yourself but there are larger ones for same size beds etc. The location is PHENOMENAL and while there are some drawback - consider what is important to you. Fans are provided in all rooms.

One of the cheaper options in this part of town, so I wasn't expecting much. And was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, a clean and tidy room with a free Nespresso pod and earbuds. And a fan. It's a bit like old style student accommodation with a common room and coffee making facilities.

Not sure about the name 'pop up' - makes me wonder how long it'll be there. It's right on the main drag so if you have a front facing room..but you do get to see Zurich life unfolding. The plastic mattress has a habit of sliding..but all in all a pleasant stay.

Great location, quirky establishment with really lovely interiors (particularly the common area). Staff were lovely and very responsive, check in and check out were both very easy, room was a good size, everything was very clean. Nice linen, good sized towels

Only one (quite cheap seeming/unsupportive) pillow came with the room (you can ask for more but I sadly did not have time to liaise with the staff on that in between work commitments), desk in the room is a bit small if you plan to do a bit of work from the room, and the heating is centrally controlled - I was boiling in the room and could not turn the heating down so had to open the window slightly, which felt wasteful

The rooms were very spacious and really good value for money in the context of Zürich. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and responded to my messages in the Booking.com app. The location is excellent! You can reach a lot of the great attractions by foot, and there is great food in the area at different price points. It's also right in front of a tram stop so you can easily go anywhere.

Could use more power sockets but thankfully I brought my own. It was very cold in the room so I struggled as someone from Southeast Asia. You can sometimes hear noise from the other room if people were shouting.

The location was absolutely fantastic, close to everything, especially the main train station. Initially, the shared bathroom and shower were a concern, but it turned out to be exceptionally clean everywhere. Additionally, there were five showers on each floor, so we never encountered any issues. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. What we loved the most was the restaurant and kitchen area; we felt right at home, spreading out comfortably. The availability of free tea and coffee was a major plus. Also, having a fridge and microwave was very convenient for us.

There is a tram station right in front of the hotel, making it super convenient for us to arrive and leave with our luggage. We had a superb river view from our room, which was indeed blissful. The bed was soft and comfy.

We initially thought there was a cooking area in the common area where we could prepare simple meals, but there wasn't. Perhaps we misinterpreted the information.

The hotel has great, tourist oriented location, easy to go swimming to the lake or river nearby. I appreciate warm welcome by friendly staff, easy system for entrance (via e-card); shared showers were really not an issue - they are kept very clean, with additional towels provided; while individual rooms might look small, the hotel has generous dining area and lounge/(kitchenette with fridge), where it is really cosy to stay in the evening. While one cannot cook meal in a pot, but there is a microwave/oven for heating cooked meals, teapot, Nescafe coffee machine - very convenient.

If you stay longer than three days, need to ask for change of towels/bedding linen as it does not happen “automatically”. My room had a little too soft bed. Also in the rooms it was difficult to find place where to dry wet towels after shower. I stayed during summer, with a hot weather, but in colder months it can be complicated. All in all, I consider these just minor issues, against a very good price/city location combo in Zurich.
