The people servicing the hotel are nice; not "fake" nice, but real. They're accommodating and trying to make your stay nice. On check in, the bed's decorated with actual flowers, colourful and scented. The room is very clean, there's AC (though we didn't need to use it) and also a fan. The view's nice and the last floor, where breakfast's served comes with ocean views and a nice panorama. The hotel is close to the beach (some 2 minutes walk). Breakfast comes with fresh fruits (my highlight), good pancakes, eggs & co. There's also free internet!

The hotel itself can use some freshen up. There are some patches of mold and the sink and shower weren't in great shape. However, everything was fully functional, hot water and all. But also no trash bin, otoh. The price is right, however and this needs to be put in perspective: Nungwi is a very poor place (however, surprisingly safe!) and the accommodation here is either cheap and "not amazing", or 4-5 stars resorts. This hotel is somewhere in the middle.

Staffing was friendly and provided me with some tips about this destination. The staff also provided me a taxi service back to the airport. The breakfast was also good, but the menu was a little too simple.

Everything with the room was fine, the room was clean and was usable. Only thing is that the shower did not have warm water. The room was also missing some sound proofing to my liking, the door to the room had some small holes that slipped in some of the noise from outside. The restaurant/kitchen did not have any bottled water.

Amazing staff, great location, good breakfast

We had a positive experience at this hotel. The delicious breakfast provided a great start to our days The spacious room was a definite plus, offering comfort during our stay. Being close to the Fish Market likely provided easy access to local attractions and fresh seafood. It's wonderful that Andrei, the owner, goes above and beyond to assist guests with recommendations. A personalized touch like this enhances the overall experience, making us feel well taken care of. Thanks for ure amability. We will defently return to this hotel.

My daughter and i stayed at the Mambo Boutique Hotel. We liked the location. It was very close to the beach. There is a restaurant near the hotel which serves different kinds of mouthwatering cuisines. The breakfast was nutritious, tasty and satisfying. Our room was clean. We requested for transfers to and from the hotel and the drivers were on time to pick us up. The receptionist and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and honest. Pierre and Ashura gave us exceptional service. There was a fan and an air conditioner in the room. We used the fan and it worked well.

A nice, chic, clean hotel, very close to the beach and the restaurants in the area, with a team of people who know how to be attentive to the needs of the guests. Breakfast with delicious fruits, enough to start your day full of energy. Thanks to the staff and especially to Doris!

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. Views of the sea from the upper floors. 3 mins walk from Nungwi beach and a short walk from seafront restaurants. Room was very clean, comfortable and as advertised in the photos.

Only minor issue was that the air conditioning unit was not working in our room on the first night. The staff had warned us of this upon checking in. Staff were very helpful in moving us to a different room for the remainder of our stay after we asked to do so.

Fair price and quality. Loved the bed, matress is amazing. Stuff super friendly and extremely helpful. Clean, ac works perfectly. 1 min from the beach and 3 mins from amazing local restaurant

Pierre was fantastic! He was so helpful with everything. Breakfast was great and the location was perfect. The hotel is located a few steps from the beach and close to shops. Great value for your money.

The island had frequent power outages. The hotel doesn't have a generator, so we had to go to a restaurant with a generator to charge our phones.

It's a nice hotel located in Nungwi, Zanzibar, known for great hospitality. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated in a local style with modern touches. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to help with recommendations and suggestions. The location is excellent, just steps away from white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
