Thr River View room had the most spectacular view of the river, I absolutely loved it and loved sitting on my balcony watching traffic on the river. The room was big and nice too. Nice restaurants and cafes in the hotel + plenty of choices for food in the streets just outside the hotel.

The noise. There is traffic on the river almost 24/7 and on top of that live music down at the cafe until midnight. And no soundproofing whatsoever. Earplugs are a must. There is a ferry across to the otherside running quite late (maybe until 21 o'clockish), but other than that the riverboat service stops around sunset. That takes a bit of planning with your schedules if you don't want to use taxi/Grab.

The property was located with easy access to the market and to all public transportation to key attractions. Rooms were comfortable but by far the staff makes baan wanglang an excellent place to stay! This staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We had an unfortunate incident in which we had to contact the tourist police. The staff called, translated and showed kindness through the whole process. In addition, the staff provided tuk tuk rides, coordinated taxis and even walked us to the ferry pier. The kindness of this team quickly restored our faith in the Thai people. We would stay here again!

The rooftop terrace alone is worth the stay. It's a hidden gem, that thankfully other tourists and locals haven't quite found out about yet. The nighttime view overlooking the river and all the historical sights is something no-one should miss. The service was amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us! Such lovely and helpful people, we were in awe. The location couldn't have been better! Right in front of the door is a street food market, tiny little shop and a 7/11. 1-2 minutes away is a peer, where you can take boat to any part of the town. We will gladly come back!

Hardly room for luggage, no closet space.

Loved the view over the river from the balcony from the panoramic suite. Was very entertaining with all the action on the river. The restaurant downstairs had delicious Thai food but drinks were expensive. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. I noticed the prices have now doubled since we booked, which is unfortunate as we won't be back as it's now too expensive. Staff were friendly. Location was interesting, massages and local markets right outside the hotel. Ferries were regular and took a while to work out the routings. We loved it here!

Staff could have offered the accommodation written in Thai, so return taxis could find the location. This was provided when asked for and was hugely helpful. Also some local info could be provided or be available, like ferry maps.

Room - good size, very clean, small balcony (no smoking on balcony). Bed comfortable, toiletries provided, safe in room, lift to upper floors. Food / Drink - really good food at the on-site restaurants overlooking the river, however as others have mentioned, quite pricey for Thailand. However for the convenience as a solo traveller dining at night I was very happy that I had this option. Location - step straight out into the Wang Lang market, a fabulous place to wander around and try different foods etc. very close to the Riverboat stop. Hop On Hop Off boat stops there which is a nice way to get an overview of the city from the water, also very cheap single hops across to other piers to access the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Iconsiam etc. Not so close to MIT etc though

This is a lovely hotel with an amazing location, right on the river and in the middle of Wanglang market. View is great, staff were super friendly, helpful and forthcoming. Room was clean and well kept, with a partial riverview but not huge. You also have a choice of three on-site bars/restaurants to hang out in, with good food. Great if you want to get away from the tourist areas.

We only changed the hotel because we wanted a swimming pool, otherwise everything was great. I heard complaints though from other guests whose rooms were located to close to one of the bars and who had trouble sleeping because of the music.

Location and our room overlooking the river was exceptional. Incredible river views like no other place we have ever stayed in.

The room we had could have been that little bit more practical with a bench or something to keep suitcases on. The wardrobe was too small to be useful and didn’t have any shelves and only a couple of hangers. A shelf in the bathroom would also be handy as there is no where to keep toiletries. Small issues though:) We very much enjoyed our stay.

The location is great and the views from the hotel rooms and the rooftop bar are fantastic. The hotel is located in the middle of a local market that adds up some extra flavor to your stay immediately when you step out of the hotels doors during the day. The pier is 2 mins walk and you can conveniently go to the main temples and sights from there. The restaurant and the rooftop bar are a bit pricey but the view and service are well worth it. Please note that there's no parking and not every taxi driver will take you to the door (you may need to walk for 1-2 mins from the market gates).

Location is perfect. Authentic in the center of Bangkok. On the one side totally busy because of the Wanglang market and the other side the river which gives you a great view. Also to go by boat it is a perfect starting point. The touristic attractions like the grand palace are with the ferry and walking in 15 mins.

In the weekend they had live music everywhere. So if you want to sleep early it is better to bring earplugs. The toilet of one room was not working. But the staff fixed it immediately.

Location was amazing right on the river & 5 minutes to the ferry dock accessible to all the major sights! staff was great, professional, friendly & respectful. Breakfast options were great & generous. Loved the milk frother for coffee. Sitting on the river in the am for breakfast & pm for cocktails or dinner at the bar was a treat! Loved the neighborhood…being right in the Market & just down from the local Temple was wonderful. While we were disappointed with our view, we did get glimpses of the river & honestly were just there to sleep! We also appreciate their efforts Eco friendly approach to hospitality. Thank you!
