We greatly enjoyed out stay. The staff were superb - always happy to assist anytime we needed to reach them, they even offered to assist us with some offsite translations on our travel to our next destination in south Thailand, which we never needed but it was a kind and incredibly commendable thing for them to offer that service to us. Breakfast was nicely done each day, and consisted of great fruit, eggs, meat, juice/coffee and some baked goods. It was freshly cooked to order and enough to get us on our way to explore the city each day. The location of the Poshtel is amazing and just what you need if you’re there to go to the many cultural attractions in the area (grand palace, Temple of the Reclining Buddha, etc). We wandered side roads in the neighborhood one evening outside the hotel and could have spent many hours just staying in a four or five block radius. Found a great small hole-in-the-wall local restaurant just a couple blocks away, and it’s a relatively short walk to Chinatown from the hotel. The one slight downside of our stay was our room was even smaller than I was expecting (we knew it would be small), but the rest of our group had a more spacious 2 queen bed room on the same floor and we were able to keep our luggage there if space was tight. We did appreciate that the staff put our two rooms near each other so we could visit each other more easily. All in all, I would very much recommend this hotel, particularly so because of the wonderful staff and location, in addition to the fact that the conditions of the rooms were clean and well kept.

Fantastic location and very friendly staff. The lobby is great as it has a cafe and area to eat takeaways etc. rooms are well designed with big beds, curtains and great washing areas. Great location to walk to big old town attractions like grand palace and national museum as well as Ko San Road.

Three negatives, the pillows we found very uncomfortable and also we found when we checked in the floor had long hairs on which ment it wasn’t being mopped etc properly. Oh also, there was no safety box in our room that was promised and when we asked staff they offered no solution.

The family room was spacious and well-designed, featuring two queen-size beds that comfortably accommodated our family of four. The modern, contemporary decor added to the appeal, and we appreciated the convenience of having a refrigerator in the room. We also enjoyed the cozy coffee shop located at the reception. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk to a lively street filled with bars and restaurants.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast. It felt a bit too basic, and the dining area was limited to a small corner with just two tables. Adding more variety and a proper restaurant could make the experience even better.

The best about about the hotel was the EXCELLENT staff. They were friendly and very helpful whenever we had questions or needed help booking a taxi. I'd stay here again for that reason alone :)

Our room was on the top floor and facing the road, so there was a ton of noise that crept into our room. They need to put some kind of sealant around the door frame to muffle the road noise; there were visible gaps, which meant that our air conditioner was having to run even more to keep up with the warm air flowing in around the door. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were composed of stiff rectangular foam material.

The location is great. It is in a quiet area, near to grand palace, what pho, and khaosan rd. There is also a 7/eleven nearby and a lot of eateries and restaurants. It is also a 2 minute walk to a michellen eatery. The price is superb, you really get the value of your money's worth. The room is clean, we got a bunk bed, and each bed has its own light and power outlets. Each bed is also equipped with a privacy curtain. They provide water every day, although it would also be nice to have a coffee or tea available in the room for a morning sip. The staff are really accommodating. They took care of us in our entire stay. You can also book for a very early check-in if you're arriving in Bangkok in the crack of dawn.

Nothing everything is great.

Great budget hotel very close to most of the key attractions in Bangkok. This hotel is in a regular neighborhood and not in the touristy area. The area itself is quite and nice. Rooms were neat and clean. The property is well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions on where to go and told us about the excellent morning market nearby.

Rooms are a little on the smaller side. There were no closets of place to hang clothes. No place to hang towels either in the bathroom.

Great location! Walking distance to everything you need! Main temples, even some smaller free temples,Cafes within 5min walk, 7/11 within 2mins walk. Free bottled water provided which was amazing. Apart from the roosters, the street is quiet considering how central it is. The staff were so lovely. I unfortunately felt sick the day I had to check out, they helped me find another hotel next door to stay at to rest due to them being fully booked and unable to extend my stay. They looked after my luggage and even offered to walk with me to help see if the hotel next door had an available room.

Affable staff, nice breakfast, peaceful street at night, saw some squirrels from my window, spatious bathroom, fridge with fresh water bottlea waiting and fast TV. Around the hotel 4-8 min walking there are nice restaurants like the Anya Authentic Thai Cuisine restaurant.

The door isnt soundproof, meaning you get woken up early in the morning by people speaking loudly in the corridor. Sleeping pillows could be better.

I love the service. The staff are wonderful! Helpfull and very accomodating. Near to Khaosan Rd and tourist attractions.

Just a bit like we hear noise from the people coming late at night and doors when they open or close it. I just wished it is more sound proof. Iam a light sleeper so i wake up everytime people is back from their room. Neighbor room. And also the waterpipes, we can hear the water through pipes from the room evertime there is someone using it maybe on the next floor higher or lower floors.

What I liked most about this hotel was the staff #1 and the location. We arrived by taxi and the driver wanted to charge us double of what he should have and in addition I was telling him multiple times to use his meter which he pretended not to understand what I was talking about. I showed the driver the laminated card in the back of his taxi of what the ride should have been and showed him the photo of his taxi licence that I took along the way. I told him I would call the police if he didn't take off but couldn't do communicate in Thai. The staff assisted me in translating. The location is great, it is in the center but not on the busiest of streets therefore it is not too noisy when you try to sleep but you can walk to many important locations in the matter of a few minutes. The room we found was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. We stayed a total of 3 nights and it we were really happy. On our check out day we left earlier than the staff arrived but we notified them and without problem they were able to wire our 500 baht to the front desk of the hotel we were staying at in Krabi and we got it that day. I found their service really fast and efficient.

The one thing which we didn't like was the view from our room. We found it a bit mundane but this was just due to where the hotel is located. Not necessarily the hotels fault.
