Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. This hotel has everything you need...from a clean and comfortable decent sized room with King bed, Bidet toilet, nice view from Level 16 (requested for room overlooking the Park - and my wish came true :D ), friendly staffs, fast lift, convenient access to BTS Asok and Sukhumvit MRT (Lobby is same level with BTS entrance - my main reason for choosing this hotel), Terminal 21 mall just across the road with many shopping and food options, walking distance to Soi Cowboy for nightlife entertainment (+ cannabis shops), last but not least, never short of free (cold) water throughout my stays. This is definitely a plus. Didn't get to use the pool, gym, bar and dining there though so no comments on that.

Not a big issue but limited breakfast options, not many English movie channels, TV can't connect to wifi + Netflix and probably please put few chairs at lower ground for visitors to seat while waiting for their ride (the staff did asked us to wait at the lobby...but the ride came earlier than expected).

Superb location right next to T21, BTS and many eateries. Room was new but quite basic. Expected more features and in room amenities for the price. Staff were friendly and outstanding in service. They tried ways to ensure they could try to meet my needs. Thanks to Muay, Pare, Yuna, many more and several male front desk staff for always trying your best to ensure we enjoy our stay and to meet my requests! Lovely and enjoyable stay! Thank you for.your excellent service which made up for the rather lacking room amenities!

Basic and bare room facilities and amenities. Mini bar was also non existent.

Loved the location as hotel is reachable via a connecting bridge once I exited Asok station Hotel is very clean, probably because it serves Japanese tourists Room is very clean and spacious, bathroom area is clean and equipped with all the necessary toiletries, toilet is clean and heated! Staff very attentive and friendly, check in and out were smooth

Swimming pool is nice but as it is beside a bar, when I swam in the morning at 7am, 2 tissues were found inside the pool and it slowly disintegrated as more people started swimming in the pool.

Good location and easier for taxi driver who can't speak English to locate the place. King size bed is good and spacious. Friendly and helpful frontline staffs, especially the long hair with pony tailed lady and one tall guy who can speak English. The rest is quite poor in English.

Very expensive breakfast, more than THB400+ per person, stated as buffet but lack of options, a few juices, bread, cut fruits and salad only. Set menu was miserable, not as good as expected. No connecting room, inconvenience. Bathroom has no lock, feel insecure. Lack of breakfast shops in morning, all shops closed, have to travel another station to buy.

the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel in Sukhumvit, the city center of Bangkok, is affordable and convenient. It is directly connected to the Asok BTS SkyTrain Station and the Sukhumvit MRT Station and just a short walk away from the Terminal 21 Mall, Soi Cowboy, and Nana Plaza. The rooftop swimming pool and bar is a great spot to watch the sunset and take in the city from all directions. The hotel is run by Japanese employees and most of the clientele are also Japanese. The rooms have Japanese toilets that are very dialed in and accurate in their targeting. The Japanese breakfast was certainly very different with salmon, seaweed, miso soup, tasteless tofu etc. I would stay there again and recommend it.

A big thank you to the staff for making me feel so welcomed and taken care of. I've returned to this hotel whenever I visit BKK. The staff were warm, friendly and gave extraordinary service to go the extra mile whenever they could. Thanks to the manager and all the staff for even remembering me from the first stay. Their service got even better this return trip! Location is super convenient right next to T21. Look forward to come back to stay again!

Limited facilities in hotel and basic room amenities and bar items.

The location is very convenient. The staff are very nice and helpful. The amenities are as useful as any Japanese-style hotel. There are tea, coffee and four bottles of water. There are USB ports and Thai + UK-style outlets. All in all, I think everything is very handy and the hotel is thoughtful.

The pool was really small, more like a little pond for view. The bar nearby was not worth the price, even after the Happy Hour discount. In the hotel room, I could spot a strand of hair near the bathroom sink.

The hotel is connected to the Asoke station by a short bridge. Access to BKK airport is aboiy 50 min, with one change of train at the end stop. The location is opps Terminal 21.

The room has no desk and just one chair. the second person must always sit on the bed. Not at all enticing to stay in the room. Also, being a Japanese hotel TV shows are Japanese with the exception of Channel 8, for classic movies. You may get Channel News Asia sometime. Also, tea is of powdered green type.

Room was new, clean and comfortable! Bathrobes and slippers were provided as well. staff were great and polite. The main attraction for this hotel was the direct connection to Asok bts station and terminal 21! The entrance to the lobby is right at the bts exit and a couple of steps away from terminal 21. This was a life saver on rainy days. Lots of food, shopping and tuktuk around the area - best location to stay in bkk. Definitely will stay with solaria again. :)

Nothing, it was perfect.

Clean, modern, quiet, with direkt access to BTS Asok and thus also MRT Sukhumvit. Location absolutely unbeatable. Japanese toilet is really as great as the other comments suggest. 😉

Standard room a bit small for 2 large suitcases, but still manageable, just a heads up. Could not provide gluten free breakfast options. Had some fruit flies in our room, no idea where they came from. Didn't bother us, but again, a heads up. Would still come again!
