Great location right on the beach. The breakfast is a fantastic value for the price. There are good bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and the facilities well kept. We opted for a private villa with plunge pool which we enjoyed but I would maybe go for one of the swim up options next time.

Other guests at the resort made a habit of "claiming" beachfront chairs and nests the night before and keeping them all day long, even when they left the property for hours on end. It's a greedy mentality I don't understand. That's not the property's fault, but they have no system to prevent this bad behavior. Also, for the price I don't think it's that spectacular. We stayed at another resort further south that was a third of the price and really not so different.

The staff was overly friendly. My personal highlight was the breakfast guy always dressing up in onesies. Beach is the backyard with loads of different venues to eat, drink or whatever

Breakfast is always the same routine, but just went next door on beach to have variety. Seaview "Couches" would always be reserved by guests with towel around 6:30/7:00am and then go breakfast or back to bed so no chances of getting on of these all day. Hotel should look after this as it‘s absolutely not fair

This is a fabulous resort in Koh Lanta. It's located right on a gorgeous beach. The swimming pools are very clean. The rooms in the hotel were very spacious and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a great place to totally switch off and relax!!

The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced but very average. We chose to eat out all the time as a result. If you want to leave the resort you will need to hire a bike/car or use taxis to go places as there are very few restaurants/cafes/shops near the hotel within walking distance.

Lanta Sand is located right at the Long Beach, very close to Traveller Lane but still very quiet and peaceful. Lots of good restaurants and bars in the surroundings as well as the great hair dresser/barber Sabaidee Lanta Hair at the Funky Fish restaurant and of course plenty of massage places. Long Beach is still a very relaxed and easy-going area with old time vibes and atmosphere. Lanta Sand was just reopened, still some minor tasks to fix, SPA was not open, but not much to complain about. The pools were perfect for exercise, breakfast was good with a lot of choices, the bungalow was big and nice, bathroom big and clean. Staff is very friendly and supportive, made our stay excellent. Had booked for 7 seven days and extended with 6 more days, in all 13 days spend on a great location. Just some minor tips to hotel, would be good with a chair in the room to facilitate working at the desk instead of sitting in the bed, would be good with a luggage rack for the suitcases instead of having them on the desk, would be good to have a drying rack for wet clothes. All in all, we highly recommend Lanta Sand! We will be back! Thank you all at Lanta Sand for a splendid holiday!

First family holiday as a three. The hotel made it really easy for us. Staff across the board were all very attentive and helpful. There were taxis outside that just service the hotel and for a very good price. Great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Could do with fans in the outside space of villas. Also bigger or more towel rails in bathroom, as struggled to hang/dry towels and swimwear.

Right on the beach, a beautiful location, with many lovely restaurants a short stroll along the sand.

Could do with more shade at the pools and beach.

The bathroom was smelling bad.

It had an amazing swim up pool and the beach was amazing. The cleaners and the reception staff are lovely (especially the night time reception chap, named merry) All the staff are great. It’s also very clean. Great breakfast too. And honestly, the housekeepers are absolutely wonderful. They are a credit to your team. It’s a great hotel overall.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I asked for a mattress topper (it already had one) and even with two it was hard. It’s an expensive and very very well run hotel - they should invest in some decent mattresses. With a decent mattress I would’ve been happy because it’s a really lovely place. Just painful to sleep on the bed. If you like a firm mattress then you’ll definitely like this hotel. Also for the price we paid in advance we would’ve appreciated breakfast included.

Great breakfast. Likely the best so far in Thailand. The restaurant was good also - fresh food, well made and tasty. Ample sun chairs along the beach front. It was wonderful to be able to walk out and be on the beach. Quiet and private - villa with plunge pool. Great tv for Netflix too.

The shower frankly sucked. We had the villa with private plunge pool (which felt so good at the end of the day). The shower couldn’t keep hot water. Pressure was all over the board but the temperature wasn’t connected to the pressure. It was painful to wash and I couldn’t wash my hair due to the water being scalding (for 1 minute and cold for the next 3 minutes. Misery

Great location right on the best part of Long Beach. Sunset beach with stunning sunsets every day. Nice Villas with a small pool inside to cool down. Broad beds and good aircon. Breakfast always good with friendly waiters. Beach beds are always reserved by unfriendly guests without using it. So its hard to find a place there. Outside of the hotel at the beach you can find good fish restaurants and bars for a sundowner and good food.

Some parts of the hotel need a little renovation but anyway we had a nice stay.
