I just loved it here. The owner (Watson) is so kind and helpful with booking tickets, renting a scooter, helping my husband find a way to watch the superbowl game. He showed us the room and made sure everything was working properly when we first arrived. The deck is nice to relax on and the grounds are lovely and peaceful. It is situated in a good area where you are only a 5 minute walk to Long Beach and the many restaurants there. You are also only 3 minutes from the main road where you can get a taxi or try out many different restaurants there. There is a small corner store at that spot as well. Shower was good, the room was a good size, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. It seemed that everyone that stayed there was content. All in all more than just good value for everything.

Spacious bungalow with only a 5 minute walk to the beach or restaurants near by. Very nice host family who would help you with everything you might need. They also arrange transfer to other cities or islands and do laundry service. Very good value for money.

Parts of dirt road to the property get a bit dark at night. I always took a flashlight with me to feel more comfortable as I was staying there alone.

Wattson the guy managing it, is such a sweet and helpful man. He came with good suggestions throughout my stay and he also helped me A LOT when I unfortunately had an accident on the island. The bungalow was very nice to stay in and super clean. I never so any bugs, which I was happy about.

I got the bungalow furthest down to the right, which is very close to a bar that plays pretty loud music until 1 am almost each day. If you are very sensitive to sounds, I would just ask for one on the left side or top right side :) I went to sleep late everyday though, so for me it was a not a big problem.

Super comfy bed, brand new ultra quiet A/C . Really clean and recently refurbished room, surprisingly big room as well. Good hot shower, classic, Nice outside space with a hammock. Great English speaking friendly helpful owner. (Mr Watson) Laundry done for a great price. 10 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and shops close by.

Property is back to back with the Main Street and one of the bars has occasional live music which was loud, but it wasn’t every night. Typical not a lot of storage/ wardrobe space,,, but not a big issue

Very nice and modern bungalows, spacious and well equipped. Comfy beds. Surrounded by a garden and trees in a very calm environment at the end of a road. Walking to beach 3 min, to main road 2 min, more restaurants in walking distance than you could ever try. Everything else you might need like dive center, mini market or motor bike rental close by. Watson, the owner was very nice and helpful with all my needs.

There is an event arena in the area which sometimes plays loud music. This usually happens during the evenings, and only on some days. But if you are a light sleeper and have problems with noise, this might bother you. I personally didn't care, the air condition was almost as loud.

Great accommodation, very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, close to the beach but most of all the host family are the loveliest people you could ever meet. The accommodation has a very relaxing feel about it. Travelled for two months round Thailand and Loongyoong was the best sleep I’d had. Close to some great restaurants, smoothie bar and coffee places. Would definitely stay in Loongyoong next time we go back to Koh Lanta. Absolutely loved everything about it.

Nothing to dislike

This was the best place I stayed at in the whole of Thailand/Koh Lanta. Located about 5 min away from the beach and restaurants/shops even closer. Wattson and his family made my stay at Toongyoong Longbeach Resort absolutely amazing. They were all so helpful and friendly and made it feel like home away from home. The bungalow was amazing, and Wattson clearly pays a lot of attention to the finer details. The bathroom was perfect and has a rain shower, as well as normal shower head. The bed was super comfortable, and all the main items provided (fridge, kettle, cutlery, furniture inside and outside of room). They provided free tea, coffee, and bathroom products and topped everything up whenever needed. The balcony was amazing, super large hammock, table, chairs, clothes drying rack and outside water tap to wash feet when you come back from the beach. There is also a beautiful courtyard with green space and hammocks, table and chairs for social use by the guests. The whole experience was more than I could have expected. Wattson is super friendly and helpful, and speaks perfect English, which made it easy for me to talk with him and find out more about Koh Lanta and its amazing beauty.

This was the best place I stayed in Thailand! The room was modern, comfortable and spacious, with a lovely balcony and hammock. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent with a good, modern shower. Wattson and his family were really friendly and helpful, and also gave lots of privacy. The location was perfect, a short quiet walk to the beach, lots of nice restaurants nearby. The accommodation was much better than I expected from the photos and I wish I had booked to stay for longer!

Well kept place, nice small hotel run by a family. Rooms are good size, several hammocks available for public use plus your personal hammock on every balcony - very sweet. Comfy beds. Close to the sea and some nice cafes/bars/restaurants around. New aircon and fridge. OMG! - silent toilet seat :) Shower is nice, everything you need is there. Thanks!

It is a bit tucked away hotel, so be aware. Wildlife around you - lots of mosquitoes and ants, singing (my god, very loud! but amazing) cicadas, some geckos. No sea breeze, as you are a protected by trees/forest so it can get v hot during a day. Get yourself a mosquito repellent plug-in and you should be fine.

Wattson and his family are excellent hosts. They take pride in the facilities which are kept very clean with everything in working order. Wattson is very welcoming and provides great food recommendations as well as arrangements for transport. We loved walking to the incredible beach and restaurants within just a few minutes walking distance, sitting on our porch in the mornings and evenings watching the birds, and chatting with Wattson! The rooms and property were so quiet, we got tons of sleep while we were there! I definitely recommend staying here!

I can't think of anything to improve - Wattson and his family do an excellent job!
