Lovely stylish rooms in a great central location to see all of the famous Istanbul sights. Breakfast was a really extensive selection of delicious options, and the sweet little cats in the garden were nice company to enjoy it with. Emrah on reception was very helpful, and suggested a lovely rooftop seafood restaurant for me to enjoy dinner at after checking in. Easy to get to from the airport taking the public bus to the Sultanahmet stop, and then a short walk - be warned there is stairs and cobbled streets, but that is typical of the suburb.

Thank you for wonderful Xmas weekend in Istanbul. The hotel location is amazing: 5 min from main mosques, 200m from wall of Topkapi palace, very scenic and calm neiborhood, nothing crumpy around. Design of hotel is cosy and ellegant, nice colors, wooden floors, warm rooms and hot shower. Rooms on upper floors have scenic view on Bosphorus and red roofs. Terrace for breakfast has no panoramic view, but located in pleasant garden. Breakfast is ok. Nice, helpful and hispitable people work in this hotel.

It would be great to offer something hot for breakfast except of drinks. The fasade on hotel photos looks lonely. In reality it hugs new beautiful bildings. So it not so easy to find and recognize the place.

The hotel is located just 2min walk from the shoreline with south facing windows providing a lovely sea view. Superb location as the street in front of it leads directly to main attractions of Istanbul including the blue mosque, hagia sophia, and the topkapi palace. Small sized boutique hotel but with clean spacious rooms that's nicely scented, mini fridge and kettle are provided and the bed is quite comfy as well. The service was fantastic with our hosts greeting us every time we pass by the lobby and being extremely helpful in providing information and suggestions on the local area such as sightseeing and food, activities such as boat tour, day tour, and taxi service are available at the front desk with fair prices. Mr Emrah was great to have a chat with over some tea and coffee, and was even kind enough to let us off when my girlfriend lost her room key. Plus the adorable kitten playing at the hotel front patio was a huge bonus even in this city of cats.

Not sure if it's for aesthetic reason or purely because it's an old building, the room doesn't have curtains but instead wooden shutters with oval shaped openings on them that allow a little bit of light in, and because the windows open inward so the shutter cannot be closed if the window's open. Personally it doesn't bother me and I find the rustic aesthetic quite charming, but for others who might be a light sleeper sensitive to sun light or someone that values privacy, this might be a point of consideration.

Super nice, intimate hotel with delicious Turkish buffet breakfast served outside on the side patio under trees. Our room was the best room in the hotel, spacious and clean with a large balcony and amazing view of the Bosphorus and Golden Horn. Sublime Porte Hotel is practically located next to the walls of Topkapi Palace and within a stone's throw of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and underground cistern. Berkay recommended a fabulous restaurant with roof top right around the corner for our first night. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful, especially Emrah and Berkay. We highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially in the room on the top floor.

There is no elevator at the hotel, but this did not bother us. The hotel is located in a very touristy area but located on a quiet street.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Istanbul! I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sublime Port Hotel! The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, making it an ideal base for exploring Istanbul’s historical treasures. The Grand Bazaar and Kapalı Çarşı are also within a 20-minute walk, so everything you need is close by. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They are super friendly, always available 24/7, and incredibly helpful with anything I needed. Whether it was recommendations, extra amenities, or just a warm conversation, they were always there with a smile. The neighborhood and hotel felt very safe, which made my stay even more comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent—fresh towels and linens were provided daily. The shower had great water pressure with constant hot water, which was a big plus after a long day of sightseeing. If anything was missing in the room, the staff immediately provided it without hesitation. The breakfast was wonderful, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options every morning—definitely a great way to start the day. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home.

The only thing to note is that there’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, keep that in mind. However, the staff is always ready to assist, so it wasn’t a problem for me.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Istanbul! The place is cozy, clean, and truly felt like home. Special thanks to Mr. Emrah and Mr. Berkay for being so helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast, which costs €10 per person, was delicious—thanks to the lovely lady who prepared everything with such care. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, making it very convenient for sightseeing. If we ever visit Istanbul again, we would definitely love to stay here once more…

Perfect room, just like on the picture, with the balcony. Great view. Super friendly staff. The manager was very friendly and willing to help in everything.

The room has an interesting detail: no door to the WC and shower. Not enough privacy for two persons. Had to use a bed sheet so that my son doesn’t see me naked. Imagine what you need to arrange If you go to the toilet. A sliding door would have been a perfect solution.

I liked the spacious room that was perfect for a family with two small children. I like the hotel staff. The bathroom was clean. Location was walking distance to the sea.

Construction workers right outside our windows and garden door entry. They were building a breakfast area -- meaning the family room will be a noisy room next to the outdoor garden area that will serve the entire hotel's guests. Not ideal if you want some quiet and privacy (re: windows and the door that overlooks the garden). I didn't like a lack of an elevator to the lower floor, which was cumbersome with luggage, a stroller, and two toddlers. I didn't love the breakfast. The servers were kind and hospitable, but the quality of the breakfast itself was pretty low. Nothing wow or special. Also the door that led to the garden let in A LOT of light and our toddlers woke up super early because of that. It needs a curtain!

The location was excellent — very close to a beautiful tourist spot and the beach. The host, Soner, was amazing and very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was warm and homemade, cooked by a lovely lady — it felt just like a home-cooked meal ☀️✨.

It was a bit noisy at times 🔊. The traditional key system caused loud and startling sounds when someone tried the wrong door. Also, the pillows weren’t very comfortable, and the beautiful windows let in a lot of daylight, which might bother those who prefer total darkness for daytime sleep.

From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, accommodating my requests promptly, or simply greeting me with a warm smile, their attention to detail made all the difference.
