Fab location. Staff so very helpful and friendly. Good choice breakfast. Beds comfy. Had Executive Sea View. Room spacious with amazing view of river. Good wardrobe space. Nice that you could open windows. We had to young children in our party and everyone was very helpful in our Carr ifvthem. Trampolines just outside which they lived

The shower was over bath so not walk in. A little tricky to operate. My husband had a bit of trouble getting it going. That's all though

The facility was quite old. The floor of the bathroom was completely wet after taking a shower.

The Strand is a great location just a very short walk to the charming Nyhavn canal and an easy walk to the main parts of Copenhagen. Our room was quiet, immaculate, and very comfortable. The staff is delightful and so helpful for any tourist type questions or great restaurant recommendations. We especially appreciated the help booking a canal tour with a smaller company and updated weather outlooks from the desk expert! An A+ breakfast room and staff with an abundance of buffet choices, great coffee/latte machine, and even lactose free milk which my husband appreciated.

Firstly Wi-Fi is free. Staff customer service is excellent. In our holiday at various hotels in Switzerland, Germany and Denmark, The Strand gave the best customer service to tired tourists who had travelled a long way, ie from Australia to Denmark. Breakfast price may appear high, but we tested it against local tourist breakfast eating places, and value for money, range of buffet food available, multiple cups of tea etc. The Strand was the best. Most important, has a secure room safe, kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk etc available. Just ask for more or take a couple to your room at breakfast . I drink a lot of tea. Location is the best, near the water, close to Canal, boat cruises, Thai massage, hop on-Hop off bus station, close to train stn Kongens-Nytorv so train direct from airport on M2. Next time to Denmark we will stay here again.

As "Value for Money" tourists we can not fault them. Front counter well staffed, always available, always helpful. Same for breakfast and room services.

Excellent cozy hotel with Nordic vibes and plenty of Danish Design furniture and excellent Nordic breakfast in a cozy area. Staff polite, rooms clean, bright and Nordic. Location excellent, in a quiet place of the waterfront, but same time only 1 minute walk to the popular Nyhavn, shooping street and Metro station. You are close to everything, or can easily get to other locations easily from this location.

Very small rooms for the price which was almost double of last year. Maybe it was the season or Copenhagen Marathon that had spiked up the price. Normally we do with the average rooms, which are very small, but this time we had kids and strollers with us, which can not be in the room and still be walkable in when also having all our suitcases in the room, so we booked a suit, great view, nice and clean, but the WiFI could reach the rooms well, and was just SO expensive, compared to other similar hotels in Copenhagen.

Amazing location, we could go around the center walking. Bike renting at the hotel was very convenient, as it is the best way to see the city. Very good breakfast with excellent coffee (true espresso and many other types). Comfortable beds and pillows (not too big nor too small, soft), crispy bed covers- we slept very good.

It seems the bathrooms missed refurbishment (some leaks while showering, water in the sink didn't drain well). Although a 4 star hotel, the toiletries were basic, there were no slippers and robes. As they have a policy to clean on demand, we only asked to replace the towels once which was done. But we didn't think we would ran out of toilet paper, handkerchiefs, trash bag...we had to go and get it at the reception. Not saying the policy is bad, just to stay conscious to let them know exactly what to do, or simply say to do the cleaning. Nevertheless, this definitely didn't impact our wonderful stay.

Location and staff are FANTASTIC!!! The staff were truly amazing! They went out of their way to accommodate us; very nice!!! Tak for the champagne ❤️

We upgraded to a front street level room with a view of the canal. This had some issues with the 5 AM delivery trucks and taxis parking with their emergency lights blinking, which lit up the whole room despite 2 curtains and shades being drawn. Staff very nicely deducted from our price but mention it for awareness.

The breakfast was wonderful; lots of choices, fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Without asking, a switch was made and we were given a room prior to our check in time which was much appreciated after an overseas flight. The room was very quiet and the hotel is in a good location; 10 minute walk to the Metro.

I would have appreciated more shelving or drawers for storage and for the window to have opened completely for airing out the room.

The bathroom was well thought out with a walk-in shower. The breakfast supplied by the hotel was excellent. I highly recommend it despite its price tag. After checkout, the staff took care of our luggage until it was time to head off to our next stop on our trip.

The room was arranged in such a way that the bed was against a wall, so one of us had to climb in from the foot of the bed. This was not a big deal. There were French doors to a balcony outside, thank goodness, because we must have arrived during northern Europe's worst heat wave in awhile. Unfortunately, the cord on the supplied fan did not allow the fan to reach the French doors so we could cool the room a little.

Location was perfect. Reception staff went over and above my expectations. My purse with my credit cards was stolen 2 hours after landing in Kobenhavn. Coming from Australia and different timezones made it difficult to communicate. The staff made me feel that no problem couldn't be solved and worked together with my daughter in Australia to come up with a workable solution. They worked out how I could get funds transfered so I would have cash and not stranded. They did this 3 times and I'll be eternally grateful. I have never had this level of service anywhere else in the world. The day my purse was stolen 1 lovely lady pulled me aside and gave me a train pass to use. Such kindness is a rare thing to find these days.
