Position is excellent, near Orchard road, metro station , any facility. Nice hotel, nice swimming pool, nice marble furniture, nice room.

Breakfast was a real stressful challenge. You arrive at 9.30 and you have to wait in queue for more than 30 minutes, because the main saloon is often rented for courses, and it remains a small room with about 50 tables that should suit hundreds of rooms. It is obvious that it doesn’t suite all these people. Plus, at 10.30 all waiters have a rush to take away all the food, so you eat in a rush. Did not appreciate at all, that’s not what you expect from a 4 star hotel where you spend hundreds of dollars for one night. Great job for Helena, a very kind Chinese waitress trying to handle tons of complaints like mine. To be modified with urgency.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids - 11,3) and stayed in this wonderful hotel during our visit to Singapore. The staff are wonderful. Our check in was seamless. We arrived two hours before check in just to see if we could drop our things but it turned out they had a room readily available! We stayed in one room with two double beds. The room was big! We had 4 x check in luggages plus 3 x hand carry and we managed to store them all away with plenty of space to spare. The room, toilet furnishings are a bit dated - you can tell from the chipping tiles but it was very clean and had amenities like towels, face and hand towels, bath robes, room slippers, toiletries. Our room came with access to the executive lounge as well as daily breakfast. The breakfast at The Window restaurant can get very busy so helps that they also serve breakfast at the executive lounge where it’s a bit quieter. The location of this hotel is everything. It is literally two minutes away from Orchard Road and right next to it are rows of restaurants and bars. Plaza Singapura that had the Dhoby Ghaut station is about 6 minutes walk from the hotel. Orchard Central - 2 mins, Orchard Gateway is about 4 mins. We would definitely want to stay here again on our next Singapore visit!

The location of the hotel is very strategic. Multiple 24-hours restaurants are available within 200 meters range from the hotel. The staffs were very nice, informative and fast-response. The bathroom was very clean and they do have bidet spray which is very crucial. I appreciate the bidet spray the most.

I booked for room with 2 beds. Although I was informed that it is subject to availability and unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough and get the room with single king-sized bed instead. The hotel still charge me for the extra bed with full-price. I was expecting the hotel to give a decent discount for that situation. Room booking management is a thing that should be improved extremely. Customer shouldn't be able to booked the room if the room is already booked by other customer. Or, at least, give a free extra bed, if it is also not possible, give discount for the extra bed.

The hotel is in a great location with proximity to restaurants, shopping and transportation. the hotel has everything a family may need- breakfast, laundry, room service, fitness and pool. Be advised- the photos of the rooms on Booking.com DO NOT MATCH the actual rooms. call the property to confirm. we booked a room type based on the photos and it was not what we received upon arrival. the hotel staff were very helpful to amend, but the room we really wanted and needed was not available. and we were charged to upgrade to the room size we needed (and the room that we saw in the photos on Booking.com).

Great location. Very helpful friendly staff, breakfast was amazing! There’s been a few people say breakfast was bad with poor selection, we disagree big time.there was something new every day and plenty to choose from. The cleaning staff very exceptional. It was so lovely to come back to a clean room and beautifully made bed every day.

It’s a little dated. There were a few discrepancies regarding facilities on our booking confirmation, and what we got.eg It said the standard king room had a sauna, coffee maker, alarm clock, none of which was in our room. Also said satellite and cable tv channels but there were very few channels, the majority were news and business. But, we weren’t there to watch tv so I’m not complaining. We just used the free wifi, which was excellent,and watched our local tv channels we like on my iPad. Oh. One other little thing. There’s no usb charging points at all in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from giving us a very late checkout, helping with bags and ordering taxis, engaging with our children and providing umbrellas to navigate the monsoonal rain. Even the room cleaning staff folded my daughter's pyjamas and put them on the freshly made bed with her neatly arranged stuffed toys. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options to suit everyone, including eggs cooked to order. The room was well maintained and the beds comfortable. The Pool area was great for the kids.

Location is excellent. Just 5-10 mins walk from Somerset MRT station. Exit from the hotel bar and walk across the street to The Centrepoint shopping center (there is about 50m of unshaded/ uncovered walkway). Centrepoint is linked to Orchard Central at the lower levels and that is how you could walk to Somerset MRT (located at B2 level at the Orchard Central) Room wise - it is spacious enough for a small family of 4. Has a built in bathtub cum shower , safety rails installed at the edge for grip. but i do not recommend it for elderly as it is not the safest. The room is also equipped with a sturdy work desk and desklamp that allows you to work comfortably. Breakfast - Breakfast spread is very decent and sufficient. Eggs cooked to your liking (you can customize it via a ticket/coupon system, just pass it to the chef / waiter and your eggs will be served to your table). Has ample cereals, fruits, yogurt, milk pastries, hot food (teochew porridge, indian food, western scramble eggs, baked beans and hashbrowns). also serves ice cream for breakfast.

Carpets might be a little old in the room. Makes it look old and emits that "old carpet musty smell". The furniture is also a little aged but still maintained well.

Location was great, very close to MRT and Orchard street. Very comfortable room, polite personnel. Electricity outlets in the room were installed with a variety of adapters already preset. Good variety of food and everything clean. I recommend booking dinner as well if you don't want to eat at hawker centers because dining at a restaurant is expensive.

Only minor details. For example you can't just wash your hair but you can only take a bath or shower. Nothing to worry about.

Good location to access Gardens by the Bay via MRT (few mins walk) or Grab, Cuppage Rd for food, handy 7-eleven, and a supermarket just beyond. For Singapore reasonable value. Helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast choices. Restaurant good value (kids ate free). Kids loved roof top pool, parents liked running machines in the gym! Recommend for families!

Rooms a bit dated and slightly musty smell at times. Air conditioning in gym was a bit weak. Juice machine broken at breakfast on last day. No access to HDMI on TV to hook up Roku box. All v minor issues.
