NO curfew! I picked the key up early as I was going to my son's graduation at the Robert Gordon University, so I knew I might be late... The house is extremely quiet, although it has 28 rooms. My room came with a shared toilet, which was no problem at all. My room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The bed was great! Tea and coffee making facilities, including kettle, were provided, as were tea and coffee. I had only booked for one night, I would not have minded staying longer.

The outside, paved front area is full of cigarette butts and spilled drinks. It could certainly do with a sweep and a wash. I get the impression that the owners aren't there and aren't aware.

The friendly nature of the staff, always willing to help when required.

*This is no fault of the property itself. However for the sake of future guests to room 5 in particular. A flashing light flashed continually throughout my stay. A building directly over the road, I phoned the council but unfortunately it wasn't an adequate response 'we will see to this within 5 days'. Being a 'heavy' sleeper so to speak this annoyance didn't affect me but it would certainly affect a 'light' sleeper or someone who likes absolute pitch black inside. From tomorrow I'll be returning to the back of the property just to see if the council has taken my phone call seriously. Everything about my stay was Fantastic apart from this one minor issue. I only highlight this the benefit of future guests.

I loved my wee room - it was clean, comfortable and just the right size for one person. At first I thought it would be weird having a shower at the foot of my bed, but it was actually really handy as I didn't have to worry about where to get changed and where to leave my stuff. The location was excellent - near Union Street and not too far from the bus station either, and surprisingly quiet. I really appreciated the fact that breakfast was included and on from 6 to 10am, so I didn't feel I had to get up early to get some food - but if you need to get up early you don't have to miss breakfast. Breakfast room is nice too. The key you're given is an actual key - no faffing about with key cards or apps - and gives access to the guest house and room at any time during your stay.

Breakfast included a good selection of cereals etc, but there were no savoury options like cheese, eggs or ham. Basically everything was sweet, unless you count the butter and the bread itself. Only toppings available were different kinds of jam/marmalade. Despite the location being in a quiet area, the guest house itself is quite noisy with creaky stairs and floors, so that woke me up a few times (earplugs sorted that problem). The only thing that could have improved my room was if it had been a bit closer to a toilet.

I had a few days with my granddaughter, showing her Aberdeen and local attractions. It was very central for getting to the bus and train station and a short walk to the theatre and restaurants. Breakfast gave us a good start for the day. It was a comfortable, quiet and very pleasant place. Thank you for your hospitality.

I have a mild dairy allergy which is not a problem for short stays but I have experienced that most places in England now have vegan alternatives as regular fare. I had expected that this would be the norm in Scotland too but I was wrong. I could have asked, because there was a notice about food allergies…….next time I will know to specify when I book. Thanks

No hassle check in and easy to follow instructions for check in after 2000 hrs. Clean room with nice easy to use TV, kettle, tea and coffee and plenty of plug sockets. In room electric shower was great - nice consistent temperature once set. Very comfortable bed, with handy bed side shelf. In room sink for handy washing and tooth brushing, Water was also pleasantly drinkable (described as drinkable) - great for refilling water bottles. Continental breakfast was available from 0600 hrs - cereals, bread - make your own toast -, tea, coffee: yoghurt, juices and milk were all in a fridge so no warm milk on cereal!

Very little! Cooked breakfast not available until after 0830 hrs, so had to pass due to early train.

Breakfast was great and included in the reservation! Plenty of healthy choices, including cereals, yogurt, tea, coffee and juice. It was served in a very nice, clean and fully renovated hall equipped with everything you need. The location of the Lost Guest House is unbeatable. It is on a walking distance from the bus/train station. Ideal to explore the city centre of Aberdeen, with most of the museums, galleries, theatre, city gardens nearby. Lots of restorants and shops close by but otherwise quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff and easy check in. Very clean room with comfortable beds and very spacious. Fully upgraded bathroom with shower unit.

A lovely guesthouse, warm and comfortable and very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room (single) was spacious compared to some other places in the area. Shower and handbasin in the room. TV, tea making facilities etc. A self serve breakfast is also included in the (very affordable) price.

The toilets are shared, and the floor on the stairs is extremely creaky making it a little difficult not to disturb other guests.

The breakfast & breakfast room were really good. Didn't have a cooked breakfast but it looked good. Plenty to eat & good selection of breads, cereals & teas etc. There was no fruit on offer which I think was in the advert. But still plenty to eat. Loved it.

Our room was a good size (Room 28) & although there was a mirror in the bathroom, we could have done with another in the bedroom when drying our hair. A little concerned that there wasn't a Fire Escape out the back way (The window was blocked) only through the door into the hall. Apart from that the room was comfy & clean

Great Central location, in a quiet area of city centre. Nice room with everything you need (shower cubicle was inside my room which was great!). All I had to share with others was toilet, which wasn't an issue. Good Internet and TV signal. Comfy bed and very warm radiator. Good price for location and room.

Staff wasn't present much. They let me in and gave the keys but most of the time no one was at the reception. On day when I was checking out, no one was present. There was a box to leave the keys but I had few questions to ask (wanted to leave my luggage for a bit so I can walk around the city) and there was no one there.

My overall stay was very good. You can come and go as you please and had everything in your room. Even a shower. A bit of a downside was the toilet was shared and it was downstairs. Breakfast area was very good cereals, toast, orange juice, teas, coffees, and you could order a full cooked breakfast. Everything was very clean.

The creaky stairs everywhere you go with Creek Creek Creek not a bad thing, but when you got up to the toilet at 3 am, trying not to creek the stairs all the way down
