Great stay breakfast was lovely no side plates, no spoon for cereal when cutlery handed out at door The breakfast area was very tight could be wider .

Stayed for 2 nights and room not made up so ran out of toilet paper and no tea tray filled up either .Do not disturb sign was same on both sides so no make up room sign available .Didn't get into pool last morning as was busy and was asked if we had booked kids Dissapointed .

Staff welcoming in all areas, room spacious, good storage and amenities (including bath, ironing board & iron, tea/coffee-making facilities, replenished water on a daily basis, great big, comfy bed!) Quiet at night, good restaurant opening hours (we tend to eat late) and extended breakfast at weekends. Chef actually listened when I asked for my sea bass to be very lightly cooked, which, believe it or not, is rare - usually end up with dry, flavourless compressed cardboard. Food quality and choice very good, breakfast selection quite extensive (but would love to see Arbroath smokies as an option!) and smoked salmon wouldn't go amiss. Although on the outskirts, Aberdeen city centre is a short hop away (~10 minutes) from a bus stop about 150m from the hotel. Two buses an hour, buses run until maybe 23:00, so no need to take your car into the (expensive and unfair) LEZ. Also had a great meal in The Cove Bay Hotel, about a 20 minute walk in the other direction in the village of Cove.

Can't really fault anything. Maybe have an adults-only session at the pool for a couple of hours in the middle of the day, as well as the existing post-19:30 session?

Facilities Pool - young girl at pool very helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff efficient/ food good. Rooms good size. Good value for money . Location not far from city centre.

Full length mirror inside wardrobe door but door would not stay open ..wanted to close over ..difficult to see yourself. Partner had to hold it. Mirror on wall in lounge area would be better option. Asked for daily room clean . Two days in row only towels changed. Did not empty bin in room which was full or give us tiolet rolls as nearly out. We had to ask for this, which theses thing should be done routinely as part of housekeeping tasks.

- The room has plenty of space - Clean - Free car park - Bed is comfortable - The swimming pool was warm and suitable for family - We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam Room - Great staff - Coffee, tea and biscuits were provided in the room

- Not enough noise isolation in the room, as we hear noises from neighbors - Not much options in the breakfast buffet, but it is fare with the price

Beautiful hotel. Christmas time so the Christmas trees and decorations were amazing and made it that more special. We had Executive family room which was really big, beautiful and clean and comfortable. Lovely addition having the robes, slippers and Tassimo machine. We didn’t use it but the option to have it was good. Special mention to Lynn at breakfast service. My son is autistic and she interacted with him and made him feel special choosing a seat. She was pleasant and welcoming. Pool was great too and my son had a great time. The whole of the hotel is lovely and clean and welcoming and we will definitely be back.

Friendly and helpful staff, easy to get to the city centre by local bus or the car park is just £3 per day for hotel guests. Rooms were a decent size and clean. The shower in the room was very powerful! The hotel bar and restaurant is also pleasant with spacious seating around.

Breakfast self-serving area is a bit cramped and got quite crowded at busy times. The hot food, fruit, cereals, pastries etc is the same every day (a little bit more variety would have been nice for those staying longer). Only one lift out of the two was working when we were there. It would also have been useful to have had a mini fridge in the room and there wasn't one (even in the executive room).

We're regular guests here as we have a daughter at university and come at the start and end of each semester. The hotel staff are very helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable There is a fairly good pool & sauna and a decemt gym. The food was fine - a huge breakfast offering (although more fruit would be nice), and while there wasn't a wide range of options for the evening meal, what was on offer was good enough

A bit of a drive from the city centre and we had to pay for the car park on this visit, unlike previous stays. This wasn't very expensive and wouldn't stop us from going back

So this hotel really reminded me of an American style hotel. Big, with a pool, etc. The staff were always kind and prompt in answering any needs. The room was enormous and comfortable. It’s located kind of in an industrial area so nothing to really do on foot but loads in driving distance and no tourists in sight. (Bullers of buchan, seal beach etc etc). You have to call to book in for an hour at the pool/sauna/hammam. There’s a gym as well. Breakfast is ok, they do eggs cooked to order. We didn’t eat there for any other meal as the prices were a bit steep. I’m happy with our stay there though! Great value. Parking you have to pay for, but with a Discount it’s 3 pounds a night, not bad.

I wish I had known there wasn’t much around by foot

Nice restaurant Large car park. Free toiletries

No mirror in room, there was one in bathroom. Charging for parking. I have stAyed at this hotel many times and this is the first time I was charged for parking. My family came to have dinner in the restaurant with us and they too have visited before. My daughter in law got a letter saying she would be fined if she used it again and did not pay for her parking. I think charging for visiting the restaurant is a bit of a cheek as you are giving the hotel money for food and drink. I dont know of any other restaurant that charges when you dine in their premises.

Very friendly lady checked us in. She was very helpful. Also, restaurant staff squeezed my family in for dinner on a very busy night. Food was great!

Myself and grandson, kept getting locked in our bathroom, which was scary, because the door handle was extremely difficult to turn. What I REALLY didn't like, even more than getting stuck in the bathroom, was having tips discouraged by staff when we didn't have cash. Apparently, if a tip is applied to a card payment - staff do NOT get it at all - hotel keeps it. I asked another worker and this was confirmed. This isn't the first establishment I've heard of doing this but I'm totally disgusted by it.
