The room was spacious and comfortable. It was also in an ideal location very close to the local train station and close to the bus station. All staff whom I spoke with were pleasant and the breakfast was ideal.

There were no issues as such although I was only given shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on the first night I stayed. These were small, one use bottles, and they were never replaced for my second or third nights stay. After the second day, I left a written note requesting shower gel. Again none came so I had to use the bar of soap in the shower. Not ideal but no great concern. As I was leaving, I advised the chambermaid I had left clean towels folded on the bed. She advised me she did not understand and evidently knew no English. This explains why my note was ignored and made me feel better as this lady was lovely and the language barrier was not her fault. With the exception of this one small thing, everything was great, I enjoyed my stay and would return to this hotel.

Location was brilliant, room was lovely.

Aspects restaurant fell below standard. While the food was good. Our meal took over 45 minutes to arrive when it did come one of the orders was wrong and had to be sent back. Our puddings arrived on time but one of these had to be sent back also as the sticky toffee pudding was tough and inedible. Staff offered apologies and a complimentary drinks. I understand errors can be made but our order was simple and the restaurant wasn't overly busy. Not a great experience.

The facilities are really good and the staff are lovely - our room was spotless clean comfortable and breakfast was really good 👍 the pool and sauna are excellent and the lady at the front desk friendly and helpful

4pm to get in to our room- just not acceptable, especially when the website says 3pm- we had plans for the evening including a dinner reservation , by the time our room was ready we had to rush - this definitely spoiled our stay - if this time doesn't change back to 2pm or 3pm , then we wont be back as intended with family 😑- macdonald hotel directors take note as there were lots of complaints about this .

Excellent location on the doorstop of the Cairngorms. After a full a English Breakfast Buffet, you are only 15 minutes to the ski station and hiking trails. Be the first to get the parking space as piste. The rooms are excellent value for money, clean and elegant with complimentary tea and coffee. Elemis shower gel and shampoo provides a luxurious morning and evening shower getting guest ready for the hills or a night out. Giovanni restaurant is very popular with the pizza oven drawing In hungry guest from the hotel and from guest of other hotels. Parking is free and close to the petrol station.

Breakfast at Morlich Aspects restaurant had a good selection of food - - room was very nice and clean as was the toilet and shower - - parking was very close to hotel - - staff were all very friendly and helpful

Hot food was hardly warm - the menus in Aspects and Giovannis were in my opinion very poor - I wouldn’t do a dinner package again as the selection in both restaurant menus were poor (there is a better selection of meals in town for the price) -- Aspects has a step the full length of the restaurant and the edge is not highly visible as flooring and edging are very dark coloured (no warning tape) I did manage to miss the step and hurt my back - booking the restaurants was not as easy as I would have liked - hotel wanted you to book in advance if your stay (who kens what you fancy for diner 4 days in advance)

The breakfast was very good both days however we thought, the waiter/waitress could take away the empty plates as the table was very cluttered and not much space The room and bed are what we expected and very comfortable and clean The dining the first night the meal and staff was very experienced was excellent with all the client very organized you were aware that there was a manager overlooking the whole restaurant

Breakfast table could have been cleared of dirty plates as the table was not that big and it was cluttered after you had plates on it The dining experience the second night was completed different We felt that the staff were not client friendly, and they did not work as a team and mistakes were made

The people at the resort are outstanding, always greeted with a smile and nothing a problem THEY made our visit really special. Everyone was very good but the team and their leader in Aspects Restaurant are outstanding I cannot rate them highly enough for making great food fantastic.

Aviemore as resort needs some work - improve wifi, refresh decor and make sure shop is open on Sunday's

The hotel and room were nice and served my daughter and I perfectly. Hotel staff were on a whole very nice and friendly. The leisure staff on reception were excellent.

The food at the Italian was tasteless and the breakfast in the morning had very little for vegetarians on the hot counter plus you had to get there early if you wanted any muffins etc which we never managed to get any of. Drinks were extortionate,

All the staff were so nice, happy and helpful even when under pressure. Rooms were lovely and clean. Very comfy bed.

Would have liked to have sat downstairs but it was so cold. Was told heating was broken. But then told that the hotel was old and had been closed and opened up for new year and it takes a while for heating to warm up! I don't know what was wrong but not good to not be able to sit in bar or lounge area without being frozen......

Room was recently refurbished so it was lovely. Aspects restaurant was excellent.

Receptionist insisted ( in front of other waiting guests) that I had to pay for our stay despite having paid in full in advance to Booking.com. Showed the confirmation of payment email, but no, I had to pay again. I was so embarrassed as it made me look like a liar. It certainly took the edge off our relaxing break. Currently waiting on the hotel agreeing to refund me the payment despite sending copies of both payments showing on our bank statement.
