The property is very nice and clean, very modernly maintained. We had a very comfortable stay, staff are amazing really polite and helpful, it was a very cold night but the heating system was outstanding. Menu was really good it had alot of choice and the food was cooked to perfection absolutely delicious, overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to go again and again.

There’s not much that I can say I didn’t like because everything was just perfect but only 1 thing is that disappointed me a little was that there’s no elevators in the whole property so for a person like me with disabilities it’s difficult to walk on stairs but it’s kind of my fault in this too because if I told them they could have offered me a ground floor room.

I liked the cleanliness of the property and felt safe in my room. The room and Lobby area are very modern and have a lovely aesthetic. Felt well worth my money.

I did not like having a door linked to the room next door as I could hear everything in the room next to me. This makes the room not very sound proof, the room next to me not linked with a door you couldn’t hear anything at all so the linking door definitely allows more sound to enter rooms. Thankfully only adults were in my room but if a child had been in the room it would not have been very appropriate at all! We suffered 2hrs straight (9:30pm -11:30pm) of listening to a very loud couple. We were very close to calling reception asking to swap rooms if possible however, this felt very awkward to do.

The whole experience was effortless from check in to check out. Staff on reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and so cheerful. It was great they were able to check us into our rooms at 12.30. That was a real bonus with us being at a family Xmas lunch. Great to see the bar was open until 12 this visit. Much better than 11 when we visited in April. The breakfast is very good too, excellent quality, constantly replenished and good range on offer. Parking is free too. I book here for that reason alone.

Only niggle was the coffee and tea stations. There is always queues. It used to be pots of tea and coffee offered and brought to your table and that would be great if reinstated. This would relieve pressure on the latte etc machines. Especially when one was out of order.

The staff were fabulous. Each individual was thoughtful, helpful and seemed happy in their work. Nothing was too much trouble. They all went out of their way to give us a good experience, from the pancakes my daughter ordered at breakfast to the room service I received on my birthday. The room was comfortable, peaceful and the air conditioning kept us at a comfortable temperature despite the heatwave.

The only feedback I gave to the receptionist on checkout was that the TVs in the communal areas (which were on silent) could have subtitles enabled. This would mean people could follow what was being said and it'd be more inclusive.

Very fresh & spotlessly clean in communal areas & bedrooms. Light bright & airy. Good leisure facilities & nice outdoor space. Free parking & plenty of spaces. Surprisingly quiet location as only just off major A road. Reception staff friendly & helpful.

Service in restaurant for dinner was very slow & involved change of servers which made it even slower. One of our group has food allergies and that seemed overly complicated Object to paying automatic service charge when buying drinks at the bar. The only “service” was pouring the drinks. Also paying with cash was problematic- though no notice to say “card payments only”.

Beautiful modern hotel constructed in 2-floor high square with a courtyard in the centre which is lit up with fairy lights in the evening, perfect for enjoying drinks outside in the summer, an excellent design I thought. There is ample parking at the front and it's easy to find being just off the A41, and I liked the spacious lobby/lounge area where guests could relax, watch TV and eat. The pool and fitness suite is absolutely fabulous and is complimentary to guests, amazing! I found the staff both friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel with special mentions to Raj at the front desk and Amanda and Flora in the restaurant/bar. My room was gorgeous and perfectly clean. I really enjoyed my 2 days there and can't wait to go again!

The only thing I didn't like was the room heating system operated by quite a complicated (for me anyway!) control on the wall which just seemed to blow cold air out of the grill above my head - in the end I turned it off and just put more clothes on! There were radiators out in the corridor which made them nicely warm but my room remained cold.

Not much Free Parking

There was no adjustment on the AC so it was either on or off, it was to cold to be off. The breakfast was both under and over cooked, I was violently sick as soon as I returned to my room. Upon arrival I was told as I had booked through Booking.com I was not guaranteed a double bed and there was not one available for me. I challenged this and explained I was a member of IHG and was then upgraded to what was only a standard room. It seems customers who book via Booking.com can expect a lesser service than IHG members.

Everything. All of the staff were very professional and polite, the room we had (King) was great and lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night which is good considering it sits back from the busy A41. We had breakfast which was also very good with good choices, continental or cooked, the staff cleared and cleaned the tables promptly and I can say that all staff throughout were very smart too. We were visiting family nearby and it is a perfect place to stay. We could have also used the facilities thete (swimming pool etc) next time we stay it will be good to do so. It is a bright clear and airy hotel.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

I liked the modern decor and open plan layout from the main entrance so you can move easily from front desk to lounge area to bar and restaurant, and the courtyard would be lovely on a warm day; the Spirit Health and Fitness complex was fabulous and the free parking a bonus; the selection at breakfast was brilliant and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The only thing I had a problem with was the menu as there was very little on it that I could actually eat - being vegetarian but not vegan and being unable to eat spicy food or things with onions or mushrooms in, I was a bit stuck for lunch or dinner although breakfast was brilliant!

Room and hotel in general. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also made use of the on site electric charger. There was ample parking and we enjoyed the free entertainment provided in the outside bar/restaurant area. The room was very clean.

The prices in the restaurant were just a bit expensive. I had a first class 'fish and chip supper' but at £21 I thought it was a bit pricey but that may be based on prices around where I live. The shower was a bit 'weak' but useable.
