The hotel itself is so quaint and beautifully decorated in a traditional English style. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a short walk from city center and all of the amazing areas of Bath to explore. We enjoyed it all!

Our room was warm with no air con (typical for old buildings like this and our stay was in July- the highs were still only in low 70s F), but there was a fan in the closet that remedied the situation on the 2nd night of our stay. Wish we would have known that the first night uggh!

We came here as apart of our mini-moon break and it was an absolute dream! From the way we were greeted to the bubbles and note waiting for us in our room, it was the nicest hotel experience I’ve had in the U.K. by far. The bed was crazy comfortable and the decor was lovely and unique. We had a few drinks in the garden during nicer evenings which was very picturesque and delicious. I can’t recommend staying here enough.

I wish there were some pastries as a breakfast option for a lighter option other than toast. This isn’t really a criticism about the hotel as I have insanely sensitive skin so this is only relevant to 0.0001% of people but whatever the sheets and towels were washed in broke me into hives for two nights (could also have been the body wash). Took a anti histamine and it was okay right away though. Just something to consider for allergy sufferers like me!

It is convenient. The bedroom well furnished and the bed was comfortable. It’s great to be able to have a cup of tea and a read of the papers after a busy day in Bath.

The room was cold. I rang reception on the first night to ask for their advice and was told that the heating would come on later and that there was a stand alone heater in the room. It never seemed to warm up, and if anything got colder. It transpired that the thermostat had been on frost mode! When I told the man at reception and suggested that housekeeping should check for future guests. Instead of thanking me for drawing it to their attention and a verbal apology, there were just excuses. Very disappointing for a hotel which supposedly values customer service.

The hotel was in walking distance of the main sites in Bath, Valet parking of our car, Waitress service breakfast, A very good restaurant for dinner

We'd have preferred to have coffee/tea making facilities in our room rather than having to go out of the room to the communal machine and then carry hot liquids along the corridor back to our room. Clear glass window overlooking the street right next to our WC! This meant we had to keep the blind closed in the bathroom. Insufficient hanging space for dresses. There was a chest of drawers under the hanging rail in the wardrobe so that only short items such as shirts and jackets could be hung up.

Beautiful hotel - exceedingly clean and very comfortable. The location was superb!

The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that there was a discretionary service charge totalling £55 for our two rooms. We had, basically, only used the hotel as a base for our stay and felt that, short of having our luggage brought up to our room on arrival, we required nothing else over and above the normal hotel services. There also was a food charge of £50 added to one of the rooms and we hadn’t eaten in the hotel. Having said all this, there was no argument when we asked for both the service and the food charge to be removed. We left a gratuity of our own choice upon departure.

Beautiful property. Very elegant, but also welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and it was amazing and enjoyed a drink in the small garden each evening. We made the most of our visit. Our room had Airconditioning which was fantastic as it was very hot in Bath at the time.

We had to coach the young bar staff on making a Pimms! But I spoke to the manager and he sorted it all out very satisfactorily.

Elevated touches (such as classical music being played in the room when I entered for the first time), plush towels and robe, lovely communal amenities (nice tea, coffee, flavored water), friendly staff who remembered my name each time they saw me

Room was a bit stuffy which wasn’t entirely the hotels fault as it was a heat wave. Fan feature could have worked a bit better/been a bit newer

We had a great stay at the Queensberry Hotel. Lovely hotel with lots of little touches that really made it and set it apart from other hotels we have previously stayed at. It felt like they truly valued us as a customer and made it feel like they really thought about what the customer would want/like. A few examples being the blankets at the back door for the garden, asking you to phone 10 minutes before you'd like to check out so they can ensure that check out is smooth and your not stood in line while everyone else checked out as the same time. Very helpful, friendly staff. Great location, just a 5 minute walk to town, quiet location. Would definitely stay again.

Really not much that I would complain about. If I had to be picky, there was no tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom that we could see (there were free tea and coffee stations in reception and you could order room service for this as well so not a major issue) and there were a few hairs in the bath/shower. Other than that everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff are extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. The decor is restful and in keeping with the architecture. The whole hotel exudes an atmosphere of being at home which makes for a very relaxing stay. One of the few hotels I have really enjoyed staying in.

Breakfast is served at table which is nice but the menu favours those with larger breakfast appetites. The full english at 25 pounds is very good but I prefer a light breakfast of fruit and cereal only. The fruit plate was small and more attention was paid to presentation than quantity, the only cereal was granola which seemed a little old, was heavy, and had some very hard lumps (about 2cm square) which were impossible to break even with a fork.

The staff were fantastic and always went above and beyond! We were given a free room upgrade when we arrived and had a personalised note in our room, which was a lovely touch! The hotel is a beautiful and situated just outside the hustle and bustle of the centre, so it was lovely and quiet.

Pretty much zero negatives- the only thing is that there wasn’t an iron in the room. However, we called reception and they brought one up to our room in a matter of minutes.
