This was a lovely hotel .. I found it quiet .. except for when (I think it was)the air conditioning kicked in ..every so often .it kept my family member awake but it didn’t bother me so much .. only thing was the shower room ( as there was no bath) was very small .. the sink seemed that bit too big for the space .. so it was very cramped .. but for the one night we were there it was fine .. I think if I was staying longer the tight space would have bothered me a bit .. the breakfast is nice but 3 eggs on a full Irish is just too much .. I think maybe ask the person do they want 3 eggs .. because 1 egg would have done me , if I had known .. the bacon wasn’t the best a bit too over done .. the coffee was lovely and there was a great selection of yogurt cereal and pastries , but we had to keep asking first butter because they only had margarine out .. but it was nice all the same ..a bit pricey but we were only there for one night ..as it was near the train station..

Nothing it was a nice hotel all in all

The staff at Malmaison are wonderful! Chloe, Karen and Brian were all extremely friendly and helpful. Although I didn't get to meet him, Eamonn was very helpful in securing a discounted stay for me, since I was in Belfast on a research trip and needed a place to stay for nearly two weeks. When you are there for that long, the small things do matter, and still my stay was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, as well as being quiet and with good wifi. Essential elements since I had to work in my room. I have stayed here for short stays and enjoyed that, but the details mattered more with this long stay, especially the friendliness of staff. For those who never have visited Belfast, Malmaison's location is ideal: located in the Cathedral Quarter, so many pubs, restaurants and attractions are a five-minute walk. I have a return trip planned for February and will of course book Malmaison.

This is a small matter, but housekeeping had run out of Nespresso and other in-room items. If I were a traveler on holiday, I probably wouldn't have noticed or minded, but as someone working from my room in the morning, it did matter.

We had 2 rooms booked , both with 1x child. 1 room was an adjoining room but we were given our second room on the other side. It would have been a lot easier for us to have adjoining rooms. There was a party in the adjoining room, playing loud music and shouting for what sounded like cocaine. I had to go and fetch the night ported at 0300 ish as no one was answering the phone at reception. He came a long with me and gave me a shocked face when he opened the door to our floor and heard the music from the far end of the corridor. He knocked and banged on the door but no one answered it. It went quiet for a while, then the shouting started again. Such a shame for this to happen as the hotel itself is beautiful, but due to the adjoining rooms issue, I wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel was very nice. The location is great and the staff (especially Dagmara from the front desk) was great. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel. We received great tips from Dagmara such as sightseeing tips/ Black Taxi Tour (a must if your interested in the history of Belfast). There is no direct parking at the hotel. We were lucky to arrive on a Saturday and stay until Monday and were able to park on the street for free (thanks again for the tip Dagmara).

The lack of parking space is not hotel specific. So I would say there was nothing I didn't like in particular.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail was exceptional. A special shoutout to Karen, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She was incredibly helpful, always communicating effectively and accommodating our needs with a smile. Her genuine care and dedication made our stay even more memorable. The hotel itself was wonderful. The rooms were well-appointed, and the beds were extremely comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The bar was a standout feature, with a cool and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. Overall, our stay was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Belfast. You won't be disappointed!

Everything was great, and the people were outstanding.

A beautiful hotel, in a good location. The room was well furnished, spotless and worth the price. In addition, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early which was a bonus and I popped downstairs after realising I had forgotten my toothbrush and provided me with one, no problem!

It was a pricey hotel for us, and we can understand the price with the location and quality of the rooms. It would have been a bonus to have tea/ coffee included in the room and some form of breakfast, whether that was fully included or had some kind of deal on.

Breakfast was really well done - continental was comprehensive and good quality, and the full cooked was tasty and very well presented. Large dining area, very comfy and relaxed - exceptional service. Room was spacious. The Bar area is big, comfy and with a great range of drinks. Would happily spend time in it!

The room was nice, but nothing special - quite corporate. The housekeeping crew (very nice peeps) seemed to keep all of their equipment and new bedding in the corridors. Whilst we could move through, it doesn't look great - you're stepping around a live operation.

Have stayed here several times in the past - generally one of my goto hotel groups Always friendly staff, clean & modern The breakfast is one of my all time favourite hotel breakfasts :)

Some of the rooms dont have aircon - it was a hot day / evening and even with the window open and the fan on maximum made for a uncomfortable night in what was otherwise a very comy room. I had to check out for a couple of days to visit Dublin but upon my return for a further 4 nights they had, without asking, upgraded me to a stunning room with AC which was hugely appreciated :D

The property is in a beautiful building with lots of historical character and modern features. The art commissioned for the rooms was modern and complemented the vibe of the city. The staff was very nice and super accommodating, we arrived very late and they made sure we were able to get dinner in the restaurant on site. The food was delicious and the waiter was very funny. I loved my food, I had the salad, soup, entree and dessert. The portions were generous and the food was tasty. The dining hall is beautiful. We were only in Belfast for a night, but was able to make the most of our day there by being in such close proximity to the main part of the city and the hop on hop off bus tour.

Everything was great, but of course no AC because it’s UK.

My room was enormous, very quiet and exceptionally clean. There is sufficient storage space and a good sized desk on which to work. There is also a comfortable armchair, which also allows you to put up your feet. I found the buffet breakfast a bit basic but adequate. The cooked breakfast looked good but I did not ask for it so I cannot comment. I have to commend reception staff who were always smiling, polite and helpful.

The restaurant menu could have been more interesting. There was nothing in it which enticed me to eat at the hotel and I ended up eating elsewhere.
