I loved the fact that I always left the hotel with a smile on my face and a spring in my step. The reason being that the voice in the lift says "Doors opening, so they are" charming and witty. Oh and they have nailed everything else: Location, ambiance, staff are so so friendly, cool bar, great restaurant, well appointed room. Brilliant, brilliant hotel.

In hindsight I wish that I could have stayed for more than two days, it is a wonderful place. The rooms are 'bijou' but with the great facilities why would you want to stay in your room (particularly as you get to ride the life again, so you do.) In terms of other comments I have seen, my room faced the road but I could not hear any traffic noise and the room had aircon so no worries with temperature

The location was great and the room was amazing. There was a lovely atmosphere and generally speaking the staff were great. All was very clean and loved the bathroom. Would definitely stay again, but did think a few items were over priced.

Whilst it's personal taste we didn't enjoy the tea served at the hotel. However the porridge was amazing. The lack of a window was an issue for us, but the room was exceptional. My friend went to the reception with an enquiry . When she returned she told me the 2 young males were very unpleasant. Such a shame as the other staff interaction was lovely

The location is absolutely superb for seeing the city centre, and we were happy that the sounds from the street did not carry up into our room. The room was clean and modern, had nice shower amenities, and the staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay; when our TV would not turn on initially, they were quick to resolve the issue. The atmosphere in the hotel was very contemporary and fun, which made for a great stay.

The sounds of the elevator could unfortunately be heard into our room which was slightly disruptive for sleep. The Dinky room itself is good value for money, but there is not a whole lot of space for luggage (ours were cabin sized). As mentioned, there was an issue with the TV turning on but it was swiftly resolved. A bit more mirror space would be ideal (especially when getting ready in the morning), but this was not a big issue.

What a hidden gem. From the street to be fair it doesn't look much, but once you step in the courtyard then to the bar area it's quite magnificent. The staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, well laid out with everything I needed. Clear instructions for heating, fire exits etc. Handy fridge too. My room was road side and it was very quiet despite the outside traffic. Breakfast in the restaurant/bar area was delicious and well priced. The evening s were vibrant within the hotel, the bar staff were brilliant, assisting me in my indecision which cocktail to have, pineapple daikari was a good recommendation. Thanks guys. Even handier was being able to leave your bags with them after checkout, so no more lugging bags around all day.

I can actually say I loved everything.

The bed was super comfortable- best sleep ever in a hotel. Great to have air-con as the weather was fab. Great shower facilities. Reception were great. I needed directions and he spend a great deal of care and patience to ensure I understood where to go. The bar staff were very friendly as well - Rhea or Mia I think the girls name who was there both nights. Customer service as a whole was lovely and a real buzzing place to be! We loved it as we hadn't stayed here before. The cleaner was also lovely as we stayed a second night we didn't expect anything to be refreshed which was lovely to see that extra special care.

Was over all happy as anything we needed we had and reception give us an iron upon request

The reception area is lovely and very welcoming. The member of staff who checked me in was friendly and very helpful - the next morning she arranged for an iron to be sent to my room and I realised when I left I never said which room it was. She must have remembered as sure enough it was there when I arrived later that day. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but she was working on the afternoon I checked in and the morning of Thursday 25 May. A great welcome and great service and wanted to make sure that was highlighted - thank you. The rooms are great - comfortable bed, nice bathroom and always clean. The ability to chromecast to the TV is also brilliant, especially when visiting for work and you want a quiet evening in.

Although it was no bother at all to get the iron and ironing board, I prefer it when they are in the room as standard.

Very lively greeting as we walked near and into the facility. It was a fun vibe--based on the Steve McQueen 1980s movie "Bullitt!" There was a beautiful and excellent restaurant/bar on the top floor overlooking the city. In the morning, we ate at the casual cafe on the ground floor, it was great. We were able to check in our bags at reception the next day since we were touring until after the official check out time. We did have to park about a block away, but, we saw when we arrived that was because it was located on a pedestrian street right in the center of old town. That added to the charm of this five year old hotel. We felt completely safe both at the hotel and the Victoria Q-Park where we left our car.

There was a "funky" and a bit unpleasant smell on the whole floor where we stayed. Luckily, we had along some essential oils and were able to overcome that particular glitch.

Central location. In a pedestrian area. Liked the room decor, and there is a mini-fridge. Good options for dining inside hotel. We ate in the lobby for breakfast and the Italian restaurant for dinner - food was excellent. But close to other restaurants and cafes, and shopping. Parking at a good rate nearby.

Would like better pillows. Also learned that a king size bed in the UK is equivalent to a queen in Canada and the US. All good for us, but something for their marketing people to point out so someone is not disappointed.

Very central location but still not too noisy at night. A choice of bars and restaurants on site (we ate dinner in different restaurants two nights, and both were delicious), but also loads of options nearby. The bed was comfy, and the room was plenty big enough for a couple for a short stay. USB ports in the power sockets, which is always something I appreciate! Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room might have been a bit small if we were staying longer or weren't a couple. There was only one chair, and very limited space to hang up clothes. But that's all clear from the listing, and I'm really nitpicking now.

Very cool vibe: young, industrial, edgy. Not your standard hotel. we really liked it, but I don’t think my parents would like it al all if you know what I mean. The lobby bar had good cocktails and nibbles. we didn’t have a meal there. Sidenote: I booked this place specifically to enjoy the cool rooftop bar with visiting friends but it was closed the night we were there so check opening nights if you want to visit it.

We had a dinky room which is TINY. no room to put anything without tripping over it. no wardrobe, just a few hooks. I checked my reservation after and it says “superior king (dinky)” -but I expected a superior king. so be careful with room type that you choose if you don’t want to be squashed in. it wasn’t expensive so I didn’t complain.
