The Tara Lodge is a gem of a hotel ,approx 10min walk from main train station situated in a quiet location though with in easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and city centre. The hotel was immaculately maintained ,room comfortable with great amenities, little extras like small fridge ,tea, and coffee provided with biscuits . Shower gel and shampoo available ,shower fabulous overall room comfortable with great amenities. Staff are very professional and greated you with a smile nothing was too much they were all very helpful .Breakfast was complimentary, and a great choice loved the full breakfast, which was beautifully served ,coffee good to, would recommend this hotel .

Overall very good, clean, friendly staff, excellent location into the centre of Belfast! Amazing breakfast with plenty of choices.

It states free parking on site, which was very important to us in our booking. However there is very limited spaces in the car park (roughly 10 spaces in the secure car park) & there are lots more rooms than that there. Arriving to have to find a space in a busy side street then leave our car in the centre of Belfast was a cause of great stress for us. Just be aware of this if parking securely it’s important. (That’s not to say the streets nearby weren’t safe but we felt uncomfortable taking that risk in an unknown, new city)

staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. we were slightly worried when we turned into the road, but it is in fact in a lovely area and a great location. very clean place and super breakfasts

no air conditioning in the room. room was hot and with a train track at the back, could be noisy. trains don’t run through the night tho

Lovely hotel great location 10 minute walk from centre breakfast was yummy nice variety. Lovely friendly staff .looking forward to staying again in summer

Upon arrival greeted warmly by 2 members of staff, that set the tone for the stay. Room had lots of little thoughtful extras, the coffee machine, as well as a kettle, the biscuits, the ghd straighteners, dental kit etc etc. I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and some very high end ones, so these additions were a nice surprise. We normally stay nearer the Crown bar, but will definitely chose the Tara again. My only reservation would be the parking. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was fabulous. A big thank you to the team.

Parking could be an issue if you can't get into hotel car park, took me a while to find street parking, but I arrived after 6pm.

Everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful really made us welcome. The breakfast was great, really fresh and tasty and served with a smile. The reception staff were so helpful, even down to assisting with many I. T. queries from old fogies 😂

Just a small issue. One of the reasons I choose Tara Lodge was it's location near the train station. Unfortunately, I did not realise there were several train stations and the one we arrived into Belfast was not near Tara Lodge. I found out afterwards that it was just a matter of taking another train to arrive at Botanic Station (which was 3 minutes away) - it was no extra cost - we used this option on our return journey. For future stays I now know 😂

The room was fantastic everything was top notch and the bed was very comfortable. The water was constantly hot throughout the stay, lovely for a nice hot bath. The full breakfast was lovely (good quality) however could of done with a touch more on the plate for a hearty start to the day.

Only thing i could complain about was the communication. We booked the hotel as it was one of only a few that had parking however they told me with very short notice (one day prior to our arrival) that they were cleaning the car park and roof as such it wasn't available, they advised us to park on the street, we had to risk putting the hire car on the streets near to the hotel (and risk damages) as the cars on the surrounding streets were rammed in and cars speed around the backstreets as they act as cut throughs

The checkin process was very efficient and the 24/7 reception was very helpful as we arrived late in the evening. The rooms were spacious and had all amenities. Car parking was good. Even though the property carpark was full there were ample street spaces right next door to the property. The bed was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with good choices and adaptability. The service was excellent. The location of the property allowed adequate access to restaurants, takeaways and a pub. The area has a high student population which assisted in the food venues. The property is not located in the city centre but reception staff explained well how to get to the centre and were able to point out car parking etc. Thoroughly recommended.

The lack of air conditioning should be explained a little better. The windows in the room provided adequate ventilation but for the unfamiliar it took some time to get familiar. Only a very minor issue.

We was greeted and checked in by the lovely Eavann who had a huge smile. She's such an amazing, friendly, informative lady who's such a credit to Tara Lodge. The beds made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud, unbelievably comfy. The hotels in a fantastic location. We went to a gig at Ormeau Park which was within walking distance, as well as other places like bars and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious. The ladies who was working breakfast were lovely too.

We could hear other people moving around their rooms. After a long day walking and dancing I had a very deep sleep so didn't hear this much during the night.

The staff was very helpful to inquiries and luggage storage while exploring the city. The location was close to the botanical gardens and university with many choices for dining nearby. Walking distance to the university, botanical gardens and Ulster Museum. Breakfast was good (included).

HVAC was non existent, so an open window would have to do which is not optimal for sleeping when you are near a city center in the mornings. The bathroom had a light smell or cat urine. The room had little space to move around similar to downtown San Francisco hotels.
