Very much a backpackers/travellers type hostel. I came to Belfast for other reasons and couldn’t afford the proper hotel all my friends were in so booked this hostel and for the price it was good, not particularly my vibe but for the targeted audience I’m sure it’s amazing

Lots of black mold spores about. Also no dairy free breakfast alternatives. I bought a carton of oat milk for one cup of tea, then left it there so I hope someone got use from it, no dairy free spread (often cheaper and nicer) not worth risking my allergies. Also bought shampoo that I then left there for someone else in the future. “Concierge” didn’t remember to give me my £10 deposit back.

It was home like stay with common kitchen, lounge, dining table, television etc. There are books & guitars to spare time in the hostel. You are allowed to prepare your own food, can use shared fridge and gas stove. The staff are friendly and very casual. Bathroom facilities are good, bathrooms are there in ground floor and third floor so no wait time while using it in morning.

I stayed in 6 person dormitory, sometimes my sleep was disturbed by snoring folks, noisy door. As it’s bunk bed when person sleeping in the upper bed turns I could feel my bed shaking which also wake me up sometimes.

Amazing value for what's almost a hotel room. Even with shared bathrooms, it's miles ahead of hostels or B&Bs, which can be much more expensive. Everything was very clean and the rooms had all the amenities you would expect from a proper hotel room of the same size. Location was a short tram trip from city center, so getting there or taking the train to neighboring cities like Birmingham was no trouble.

It was hard to get a hold of staff if something went wrong; all the phone numbers left at the property didn't seem to work, so email was the only option. They did respond to email fairly quickly, at least. Mattresses are fine, but would really benefit from some sort of pad on top- they were a bit hard.

Well maintained cleaning and puntualilty in checkIn. Nice reception space to keep luggage and hang jackets etc. Chill out room is best place to connect with other travellers and had TV and fire place with confy sofa and extra blankets I liked the kitchen arrangement and labeling system and how everyone kept it clean after using the dishes. Splecial Thanks to ths staff member Clayton for amazing help and service during the hostel stay. He helped in amswering all my queries and provied extra blanket if i was more cold as my bed was near window. He also cleaned bathrooms very hygeynic way all the days. He was was very patient if someone was using the washroom during cleaning hours. He is nice person also informed about for pub parties which was open to all histellers and staff members. Also shout out to coolest staff member Charlie kolloshe who showed me around the hostel and explained few hostel rules to begin with. Also helped in closing the window in middle of the night as it was jammed at one end. She is vedy friendly and attentive. I liked eating bread and variety of jam and nuttlea spread for breakfast along with other hostellers and staff while sharing travel and life stories I also made few buddies from different region of the world thanks to Vagabonds hostel stay

Could provide more breakfast option like cheese spread , chocos , fruits ,jucies As somedays travellers may go for long tours early in morning heavy breakfast will add the worth for paying self service breakfast.

The hostel was great! It located about 10-15 mins walk from the city center and the Europa bus station. They have free breakfast (i never went to get it) but is there and is free. I was in room #3 and is for 12 people and i didn’t have any problems. Actually we were 8-9 per night, never 12. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Also tours to the Giant causeway available and the pick up location is 5 mins walk. It does the job.

The only thing i didn’t like it was the smells! They cook and you can smell it all over and if it burns even worst. Also some of the bathrooms smell really bad (THEY WERE CLEAN all the time) but because they don’t had ventilation the humidity make them smell really bad. I tried to only use the bathrooms with windows but sometimes for some reason they were locked and you can’t use them.

About a 15-min walk from the bus station & another 15 min to the City Hall. The Vagabond is a great place to meet other travellers -- it's very cozy. Offers a basic breakfast & coffee all day. The dorm bedrooms are a bit small, but manageable for short-term. Locker space. Friendly staff who gave great suggestions of which pubs to visit! A very enjoyable stay! Kitchen where you can prepare food, if you are that way inclined. Safe enough area. I stayed here because of going to the Ulster Museum.

Because of how the bathrooms are located in the Hostel, there can be a line-up if you don't plan properly in the morning. The beds were a bit squeaky, but I had ear-plugs. The dorm rooms can be a bit small. Remember to ask for your key "refund" the evening before, if you have an early flight out. Suited me just fine, otherwise!

The staff were very friendly when I arrived, and the hostel is quirky with good character. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. I liked the shared areas and that there was the feel of a community to it. It was good for a night's stay! Although it was a saturday, so kind of expected some drinks/ social event to have been arranged!

The room was very musty and had some mould along the skirting boards. The showers, whilst obviously cleaned daily, could do with a deep clean as there was some serious mould / buildup along the edges. I'd recommend a good dousing of Cillit Bang 😅

It was unique in it's style and quirky. It actually felt like being in someone's house, except it was a hostel. There was more room than you might expect and it was clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed being able to sit and relax in the lounge in the reception area. I could see that area being used for small scale semi acoustic music events on a Friday or Saturday night. Would recommend.

Just a wee niggle. There could do with being just a bit more headroom between bottom and top bunk, but it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Very friendly vibes from the staff and roommates. A cute, cosy and comfy stay. Had a nice bed with comfy sheets. The breakfast provided was a nice touch to start the day. One of the bathrooms was like a proper bathroom, instead of a hostel pod shower style. The location was near Queen's University Belfast which was a real nice area to walk around especially the Botanic Park. This place is also 10 minutes walk from the main bus station and 15-20 minutes to the city centre. Super convenient location.

Just pay attention to when they stop the hot showers. My bad for not paying attention and had to deal with the cold water. There is one bathroom which has hot water all day but it's a few floors down from my room so it was not very convenient for me.

The staff was always very kind and helpful. They're also putting a great effort in keeping the facilities clean and tidy. There's also plenty of bathrooms with their own toilet and shower, so no waiting in line. There's free breakfast every day, although I didn't get to have it more than once due to my poor time management 😅. It's also well located, with easy bus connection to the centre or just a bit of walking. Also close to the Queen's University, which is worth checking out.

Just to write something here, not the best bed you'll ever sleep in, but still great value for the money you pay.
