Firstly let me say, I’m not a fan of Mr Weatherspoon and how the staff were treated over lockdown if the media was correct, and booking these rooms was a last resort. I was really REALLY impressed! The beds are comfortable. The shower in the room I was in was enormous and gave nice hot water. The complimentary coffee had VEGAN MILK. What a bonus for the lactose intolerant traveler or the dairy free traveler like myself who normally had to bring their own. The staff are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and despite working in a busy bar, they are pleasant and there’s not a long wait to be served. There is a good choice of the usual beers and food you get with your normal Weatherspoons. The bar area is nice and spacious and there is plenty of outside space.

If I’m being really picky and had to find something, it isn’t easily accessible for wheelchairs.

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and comfy. Food and drinks (including breakfast) was lovely, affordable prices and the pub itself spacious and nice. Located in the town centre, close to shops, pubs, bus and railway stations.

Squeaky floor in the room - guests bellow started banging on their ceilings in the morning. Waiting staff wearing go-pros also looked a bit weird. The pub was super noisy and a bit overcrowded over the weekend.

Although above a very busy pub, we never heard anything from downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable and bed was ok for a good night's sleep On the main High street but never heard much noise as secondary glazing had been installed - good for a good night's sleep again. Breakfast was served downstairs was also very good and good value for money

Bathroom was a little small but still very clean and modern Had to use bath mat provided as bath was very slippy to get in and out of Wardrobe was in corridor between bathroom and main room up some stairs

Stayed in December 2022 and although my stay was brief, it was an enjoyable one. My room was clean and tidy, and provided ample space for my one night stay. Despite being above a pub and overlooking a road, the room was quiet. Staff were helpful. I found myself in an awkward situation during my visit, and the staff dealt with my problem quickly and professionally.

Only slight niggle was parking in the area was limited, and you do have to pay after a certain time (if I remember correctly, 8 AM). I was able to park for free because of my short stay and if you’re staying in the area for a night and on business, parking restrictions should not affect you.

Super sized bed and bedroom, very comfortable. Bar area very clean and spacious, with sunny outside tables a bonus! Food and drink choice was reasonably priced, good quality, as always. Staff all friendly and welcoming, nice “wardrobe style” reception area, adequate and fit for purpose.

Only negative was lack of onsite car parking, but a small price to pay for the overall experience. Will definitely book again, without hesitation, if the need arises.

Room was spacious & clean . Nice decor . Bathroom was huge , very modern & new . Very friendly staff indeed ! … I forgot to remove my phone charger from the room , but I am promised that they will post it to me :)

Bathroom mirror was set back & high over basin , there was a small magnifying mirror on a bracket high over the basin on the wall , which pulled out , but not down ! I suggest that the mirror could be positioned , by lowering it 6 inches , so as it could have any benefit of having a mirror at all !

Nice room - quite roomy and airy. The food at Wetherspoons is always wonderful. Drinks are reasonably priced. Lovely town to walk around. The staff were great.

The bathroom was tiny - a bit claustrophobic! The lampshade was too low for my partner - he hit his head on it twice. Sadly there are some stupid people who feel it's OK to stand outside a hotel shouting late at night - not the hotels fault, just people being thoughtless, but kept waking us up.

The room was great, very comfortable, high standard of fittings. I don't see it so often these days, however, I really appreciated the personal note left on the bed welcoming me to the hotel, and the free biscuits. I like the Wetherspoons menu and food, great price and quality. I stay over most weeks in the area, and been shopping around, I think I've found a place where I will stay every week I'm in the area now.

It's not that I didn't like anything, there is no parking onsite, I managed to squeeze into the disused bus stop out back and would of had no issue parking in the public car park and walking <5 mins. Again, not that I didn't like it, people should be aware it is a nice, big, popular Wetherspoons, lots of people around. When I was eating there were a few loud people around with choice language, it is what it is, didn't bother me but others might be.

Exceptionally comfortable having been recently refurbished to a very high standard without compromising the character of the building. Having a wetherspoon restaurant on site meant a wide selection of affordable meals at all times

No on site parking but there was short term (1 hour) only a minute or two away and longer term pay parking about 10 minutes away which is free all weekend. 9

The Crown has become our old friend whenever we stay in Biggleswade to visit with family. The check-in is super fast and easy. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are super cozy, clean and eclectic. The beds are comfy and clean, the showers are hot.

The showers in some of the rooms are very British; bathtubs with shower mats and the potential for a big wipe-out. There's always a ton of Wetherspoon's sales brochures adorning the room when you arrive.
