This was our first time staying at the Blackpool lodge and I have to say it's by far been one of the best bed and breakfast hotels I've stayed in Blackpool. Andy and his wife were absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much , so attentive, professional, kind and welcoming. The facilities were lovely, clean , modern and the bed was super comfy. Little details like emptying the bins in our rooms daily, breakfast was superb plenty of options and absolutely delicious. I would recommend anyone to stay here , it felt like a little home away from home. The room was spacious, clean and warm and comfy. We loved every second and will most definitely be booking back with them . Fantastic owners of a beautiful business.

Everything was perfect

Andy checked us in he was very welcoming, the room was lovely, clean and not cramped. There was everything you needed for a pleasant stay here and if you did need anything Andy would be more than willing to get it for you and he was informative about parking and the fireworks competition that was on whilst we were there. Breakfast was excellent and the cutlery was sparkling it stood out on the table. The street is nice and quiet especially at night and it's well kept and close to the football ground, promenade and a short walk to central pier. Blackpool Lodge is by far the best place I've stayed at whilst visiting Blackpool and I've stayed at quite a few and will definitely be booking up again.

The B&B was a gem to find. Andy and his other half were great hosts, amiable and accommodating, The lounge area was very spacious and the B&B itself was very quiet at night, providing us with a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was served hot and prompt, with a full cafeteria of coffee each, and the breakfasting area was very clean and well set out. Our room was clean and comfortable, the shower was always hot, and the beds themselves were very comfortable., We asked for a fan as our room felt a bit stuffy ( due to the heat) and he provided us with this with no problem, the rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but this is just because of the size of the place, did not impact on our stay. As an added bonus Andy had put bottles of water, cans of juice and cartons of juice in a cold fridge, that could be purchased for a very small fee.

Had a lovely 2 night stay recently. Nice cosy room and delicious breakfasts. Lovely owners. Hotel in a great location. Looking forward to returning next year. 10/10

I liked everything.

We received a very warm welcome here and shown to our lovely comfortable room. We had parked in a large car park near the football stadium which was less than ten minutes walk away. The bed was very comfortable and there was tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and bottles of water which is a nice touch. The location was fantastic also . We were able to leave things in a communal fridge in the lounge which is an excellent facility. Breakfast was lovely both mornings and nothing was too much trouble. The owners are extremely friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

There was nothing to dislike

Owners Andy and Jan have the B N B nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Andy was very supportive of me, as a solo traveller. Very safe property. Breakfast was very nice and a friendly dining room. The tram was at the end of the street and travelled the length of the Promenade. Easy to get around.

Parking could have been an issue but i got lucky and a park became available as i arrived. Didn't moved the car again.

Andy and Jan are a lovely couple very welcoming and very sociable easy to talk to we couldn't fault our stay our room was lovely Number 5 although we named it cardiac stairway ( not ideal for anyone with walking difficulties or medical problems make sure you stay it) we survived....... just haha breakfast was lovely it was cooked beautifully it definitely set us up for the day until teatime we will definitely recommend

Andy was very friendly and pleasant, my wee boys felt like they were in a big family house and they loved it. Breakfast was lovely, mini bar in lounge which was great for when you needed a cold drink. And we were right in the middle of the tower and the pleasure beach. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Blackpool.

There was genuinely nothing to complain about or be unhappy about

The location is ideal - close enough to everything (practically in the middle of the North and South piers) but away from the hustle and bustle found on the promenade. The parking is difficult if you want to park on the same street as the Guest House, but there are plenty of nearby options. We parked at St. Cuthbert’s Church which was around £12 for a couple of days (can’t complain at that!). We had room 4 - a family room maybe? It had a double and single bed. Our 2 year old was delighted when Andy announced that she had a very special “big bed” just for her. The bathroom was compact but absolutely brilliantly done. They’ve thought of everything - even a child seat built into the toilet! You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the rooms. It’s not often you stay somewhere that provides enough towels to ensure you can wrap up your hair while you get dried - I brought a spare as this is always an issue, but there was no need. The complimentary bathroom products are lovely. The breakfast is served early and for about an hour, however this is fab as it ensures you get a full day of fun and we weren’t hungry by the time we’d normally eat lunch, so that was great too. There are a few different set options but you can amend to your preference and the breakfasts are consistently really lovely. Cleanliness is second to none. I stored our suitcase on top of the wardrobe and when I brought it down, there was not a speck of dust on it. No exaggeration. I was amazed. I expected a small amount of dust, but nothing. The hosts (Andy and Jan) obviously take great pride in what they do and will do what they can to accommodate their guests. Our daughter summed it up when she told Andy one morning at breakfast “your house is really lovely”. The Blackpool Lodge will be our first choice when we return for a mini break - highly recommended.

Genuinely no negatives at all.

This is an exceptional B&B in a brilliant location. The owners are super friendly, super helpful and literally cannot do enough for you. It's a real home from home and will definitely look to stay there again. The breakfasts were fantastic, gorgeous food, more than enough on offer to eat, and again the owners go above and beyond to make the breakfast experience top drawer.
