we as a family loved the staff that had literally just took over the building a day before we arrived, they couldn’t be more helpful and we felt welcomed couldn’t ask for more off them. We hope that they achieve what they are planning to do with the place and make it to we’re they want to be. Good luck to them and we hope them all the best in the future.

The mattresses were not the best but as stated these people are up and coming, and this was the only down fall.

I Stayed in room number 7, it was a very nice and comfy bed, nice quilt, bedding and comfy pillows, I slept very very well. I have stayed in this room previously in the past but this time it was a lot more comfy, I can tell management have made a lot of positive changes since they took over a few month ago. Gary the manager is a great host and is very welcoming when you arrive, there is also a bar and a pool table in the basement. The Location is fantastic as your within 5 minute walk to the sea front. Overall am pleased with my recent visit and will be back in the near future, (room 5 is also a great room but honestly the bed isn't as comfy as room 7!) thank you for another pleasant stay Gary 😊

The Shower hose holder needs attention but I managed to make it hold up for me and still had a good shower.

Everything was pleasant, this hotel has recently changed hands and Gary is a great host, we arrived two hours early and he invited us straight in, sorted our key and made us feel welcome straight away, the room was spotless and smelt fresh.. I am very impressed with the changes made to this hotel also, I visited here once during covid when it had different owners and tbh we walked in then straight back out then. The location is central and only a 2 min slow walk away from coral island amusements. Overall I can't fault this place, its exceeded my expectations and I would be happy to come back here and stay again in the future, I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

There is not anything we did not like.

When we was kicked out of our digs with 2days to go, I found this place £65 for the 2 night can't complain at that we got there early they was most welcoming asked if we could get in the room a little eairler as we had a 1yr old with us and they was so helpful and we didnt have to wait long they are really lovely people so accommodating aswel we woke up the next morning the window had leaked so we let the owner know and right away moved us to another room that was habitable for us and our child, well anyway we was stuck didn't know what we was going to do or where to start I asked if there was a laundry matt near by but the fellow who runs the place said he'd do it for us so we was grateful for all the help we had our clothes washed dried and folded for us now we felt our luck was down but with the kindness of the fella we felt like things was starting to look up for us, it's not very often you'd get owners who will go the extra mile to help also when we changed rooms he did more than I can thank him for he took most of our luggage and hauled it up for us now this is a couple flights of stairs, if you stay here I promise you will be greeted with the best welcome ever and I just want to say thank you to the owners who went above and beyond.

1st time visiting the merlin me my gf and my baby boy. The staff were lovely offered us travel cot and high chair straight away also had extra food so offered us all some homemade chicken pie which my little one loved. The staff were really friendly and the location is right next to everything central. Will defo be back

Wow wow wow what a place!!! The staff here are incredible! Nothing was to much and they went above and beyond for us!! As a family of 7 (2 adults and 5 young children) we was truly delighted when we got here!! The staff made us so welcome and we felt at home, relaxed and comfortable. It was my daughters birthday while we was there and they threw her a little party after our day out!! Treat her like a princess!! My children where well entertained by all the staff!! Dancing, playing, running wild and being crazy they was loving life and having a great time in the bar/chil area Thank you... Nic, Gaz, Charlotte and Tom absolute legends you are and we will be back!! As for the rooms... comfortable and clean no fault at all!! Keep it up guys you are fabulous x If I could post more photos and videos I would.

Staff was amazing went above and beyond for us thay r very friendly the bar will be amazing once it's finished love bar area with pool table and tellys music kids loved it thay loved the flashing light so he put 1 in the kids side of the family room our room was lovely (needs new shower mat and under the beds cleaning old mcdonalds under bed only seen coz kids dropped teddy under the bed) I think that family room would benefit from a telly in the adult room as kids watched the telly but just a suggestion 😍 I really do love this hotel and will be my go to from now on can not wait to see it all done well done geting it to that standard in 10 weeks amazing my husband struggled with the stairs and thay offered to put us in the ground floor room whitch was lovely of them but we liked our room we extended our stay as thay made us feel that welcome and our room was booked out so we moved to grown floor for the night was lovely there as well put a post on Facebook my friend sead she will be booking that room next time she is in Blackpool it looks lovely (black bags under the bed I think just checking under the beds but we only seen coz kids dropped teddy down side of bed) my hubby is a biker and noticed there is space in there back yard for bikes and it's secure parking with cctv and 2 locked gates so is bringing it up at his next club meeting and hopefully sorting out a stay over here but me and Michael have recommended you on bikers pages I do think yous should get a Facebook page as when we can share on all bikers pages as not many hotels with parking like yours we will be back kids loved it and that's all that counts thank you for making there stay amazing yous r the best and can not wait to see it all finished all ready planning on coming over again just me and the hubby and I no he has big plans for the bikers photos of rooms we stayed in and bar area attach thank again for having us 😘

I was a little apprehensive about the hotel due to the price (£16) I thought it was going to be terrible. I was pleasenatly surprised. The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. The beds were clean and comfortable.. (I would have liked 2 pillows but that's me being picky) overall, for the price it was a great stay! I stayed with my 5 year old boy and we both slept soundly. Will definitely be back. Thank you

The staff was very friendly and helpful , the staff were all very family friendly and carried all our luggage to our room , the man working out WiFi password into kids laptops and the kids were giving colouring books and pens to keep them entertained , rooms were nice and clean , hotel was at the Center of all local attractions there was a convienent store and fish nd chip bar steps away from hotel , would definitely go back

Didn’t like that we couldn’t have breakfast before heading out for the day

The staff were excellent, so friendly. They offered to help with our bags upon arrival, answered any questions and were just all round brilliant! The room was immaculate with extras like towels, soaps, tea, coffee, milk and sugar all supplied. The communal areas were also well kept and the whole building smelt lovely. The pictures online had me sceptical about staying here but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The newer managers (Karla and Kevin) have done amazing things in such a short amount of time and I can’t wait to come back! I would gladly have paid double the price for our experience!

It would have topped the experience off to have the bar open but was made aware it’s under renovation and opening soon so looking forward to that for next time.
