Good location, harbour view nice, spacious comfortable room, breakfast good (except for cooked English option) Good spacious lounge/dining/bar area.
Didn't like the English breakfast much. The sausage was pale and anaemic and seemed undercooked as did the bacon, one small half tomato and tiny pot of beans that were lukewarm. Much prefer proper buffet arrangement found in many other hotels., but the freshly squeezed orange was great. Although the room was comfortable, spacious and appeared clean, there was an unpleasant smell as if dirty smelly mops had been used to clean the bathroom floor. Window did not open enough for good ventilation.

The building is nice, good location and clean. The breakfast was also very good and the staff were friendly. I've stayed here on a number of occasions and never had a problem. The food is also very good.
The price is very steep. £140 a night for a double bed and breakfast, WOW.

Hotel like new, rooms were clean and as the build was 2016 the decor was really like new. The bed was 2x3/4 matresses made into a large double. Room 304, which we had had a sea view, which we asked for. Breakfast was really good, and I had trouble eating all the full English. The restaurant menu at night was good, but a little limited, but everything looked home made, not pinged.
Although the hotel is really nice, there are very few options to eat out of the hotel, maybe why it's so popular with the locals. There is also very little shopping locally, typical high street as are a lot of towns now, sadly. There are supermarkets Morrison's and Asda. If you want shopping, then you'll need to go into Newcastle, lots of local busses to other locations as well. In addition, there was no " big" light in the room, no problem for me, but the wife had to use the bathroom to see to do her makeup.

First time in Blyth, with an overall positive experience. I stayed over for a single night whilst busy exploring the area. The location was interesting as it was on the further and quieter end of the harbor which was actually a really nice surrounding. The room itself was relatively large and comfortable. Whilst there was a sea view, it was more looking at boats coming in as opposed to any beach, though I did actually enjoy this as it was peaceful. The room was very quiet despite having a pub/restaurant downstairs. I ate dinner and had breakfast here, both of which were really good and rather inexpensive. Staff were always very friendly and accomodating. I enjoyed the self service check-in/out as this was very convenient and efficient.
The rate I felt was quite high for the area but this was the only hotel (for that matter) that had en suite bathrooms. This might be franchise set prices - never been to one of the Inn Collection properties before. Saying that, I still found the stay extremely pleasant and wouldn't mind staying at another one of their properties in future.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Made to feel welcome from the very start. Room was really good (family room) we had a great sea view. ensuite was spotless and supplied useable soaps etc. Breakfast was amazing really good full English (too much for me but husband managed to finish). Good selection for continental and the coffee was great. We did not have dinner due to other commitments, however, the menu looked really good and good prices, will certainly dine next time.
I honestly cannot think of anything that could be better. Even the outdoor smoking area was clean!!

Comfortable room, nice dining/bar area. Good breakfast and evening meal.
The noise from the windmill outside. If the window was open it was quite noisy through night. Although we were told there was a group in the bar area on Sat night and it might be loud, we didn't realise how loud it would be. It was absolutely DEAFENING. Sometimes the staff in the bar/dining area didn't acknowledge customers and left them standing for quite some time. More staff training is needed in customer service ie "someone will be with you in a minute".

The restaurant of the hotel is amazing - the food was wonderful! The bedrooms are far larger than normal - which makes it very comfortable! The central location also made going to and from very easy. I also appreciate the large towels, and having cocoa - not just tea and coffee in the room ;)
The floors of the hotel room creak SO much! I was always worried about people below me. While the restaurant food is amazing - you cannot get the food ordered and brought up. The environment downstairs is lovely but that means if it is too late or you aren't feeling well or wanting to be properly attired - you are out of luck!

The balcony and the view - it was lovely to sit out in the morning. Location was really quiet and peaceful. Staff at breakfast were cheerful and helpful. Plenty of options at breakfast and hot food was served promptly.
That nobody greeted us or checked us in. For the money we paid it felt very impersonal that we had to check ourselves in. I expected a better standard of service from the hotel in that regard. Check out time of 10:30 felt very early compared to other hotels we have stayed in.

Really great hotel, stayed here twice before. This time had balcony room which was excellent. Had meals in hotel on the 3 evenings all very good and reasonable priced.
Unfortunately on all 3 mornings the cooked breakfast was cold, plates were warm but bacon etc was cold, only warm thing was hash brown . I know that things soon go cold but have stayed in a lot of hotels and Have had at least a warm full English. Dissapointing
