Had a great stay . Staff very friendly & helpful .A young girl at breakfast was fabulous . Always smiling and welcoming . Grounds lovely and nice walks surrounding the hotel . Room was clean but a little tired . Lots of damage , chipped timber , no door on safe so could not use . No fridge . But overall clean . Bathroom was nice , towels were great fresh . Would have liked a robe . Good size room . Breakfast was good plenty of choice .Bed was a good size .

The room was looking a little tired . Lots of chips and no door on safe . The view was awful . Looking out over the roof and air conditioners . Considering the size of the hotel and not super busy , i would have liked a room with a better view .

We always stay at this hotel when visiting family in the north east. We love the reception, lounge & bar area , it has a nice ambience and always feels relaxed . The staff are so professional and friendly.

Whilst the bedrooms are a good size, they are rather tired now and we were disappointed at the lack of basic comforts , only one pillow each on the bed and the duvet was rather thin , leaving us feeling cold during the night . I’m sure the staff would have provided more had we asked, but we were okay and didn’t make it an issue. It would be nice to have had extra pillows and a blanket in the wardrobe, which you do tend to find in most hotels? That said, we will still stay here when visiting this neck of the woods …. we always enjoy our stay.

Location was good. Room was very clean, hotel and spa in general was also very clean, plenty of parking. Breakfast very good. Hotel was spacious and plenty of seating areas in the lounge area.

The hotel has started charging hotel guests for the spa which would sadly put me off booking again as most other hotels with spas don’t do, although only £5 per person it adds up if you are there more than a day or two, but even just one day adds £10 to the over all price for a couple. The sauna was also out of action on the day we visited but we still got charged the full entry fee.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable,plenty of tea/coffee etc in room..Breakfast was very nice,hot and lots of choice. Staff everywhere were friendly and nothing was too much trouble,Spa was clean,though air in changing rooms made it chilly when changing.😀

1 lift out of action our whole stay,as we were on 4th floor it was a pain.. Been staying at Gosforth park since I was a child (55 now) and this visit we had to pay to use the Pool/ leisure area..not expensive £5 adult,£2 per child but still extra expense! Lounge area has been renovated,rest of Hotel needs Upgrading but we know its a future project and hope to be back to see

good quality gym with the added benefit of a pool and spa, steam rooms and sauna., these were all included as a staying guest. the bedroom was a double, a traditional dark wood looking but very usable workstation to catch up with email. Range of TV stations and a comfy bed.

The restaurant had a very small selection. Best on menu for me was fish and chips and a stacked burger with bacon fries etc. I had both as I stayed two days, they were really nice with generous portions, I would recommend the restaurant to anyone to save the agro of heading out when away on business for a couple of days. Only negative was there was very little aside these two options.

Excellent location for transport links, set in its own quiet grounds, good parking. Rooms were big. Slightly dated but very clean and plenty of space. Extremely comfy beds. Amazing shower! Lovely breakfast with a decent selection, fresh and well prepared. Friendly staff. Added bonus of a few shops and food outlets across the road. Would visit again.

One evening was noisy because of an event downstairs (I think it was a wedding), but it finished at a reasonable time (something like 10.30) and was quiet after that. Windows in the room were stiff so a bit tricky to open and shut.

Very comfortable. Awesome room service menu, if you arrived late and didn't have time to eat out you would not be disappointed. The bathroom was huge and the tub was amazing as was the shower. Pleasantly surprised to find a steam iron and trouser press in the room, both were made use of. Another surprise was that it was pet friendly with folks taking their dogs for walks in the woods in which the property is set. The fitness centre was in full use in the morning and the view from a very powerful jacuzzi overlooking the woods has to be seen as words just don't do it justice. The staff were incredible, definitely my first choice next time I am in Newcastle.

The hotel is in need of an upgrade in the rooms, and the lifts .The carpets have been upgraded it's the fixtures that need updating but cost could be eye watering. However that said it's an amazing location with great facilities and deserves to succeed it would be a real shame if it didn't

The property itself is actually stunning the fact there is grounds within you can walk your dog etc makes this more immaculate. To being greater by the loveliest receptionist ever made this stay 10+ blonde haired woman was the kindest soul ever. Honestly we ended up staying an extra night and she actually remembered us from the night before it’s the little things and she really goes above and beyond with them. I highly recommend this property we stayed at 4 others this same week and came back here to extend our trip we enjoyed it so much.

Booked a cosy Double Room - the room was Small - but definately cosy. After a few nights camping trip sadly with wet weather - it was lux to have a comfy bed and hot shower facilities. They catered for our dog paws too. Great surrounding area for a dog walk. Complimemtary tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. We missed breakfast so opted for a Breakfast Brunch from the bar - great value for money. Does have leisure facilities - the swim pool area looked Great - maybe next time - would definately return if up that way again.

The Weather. Lol.

Everything was as I had expected,It was clean tidy,the staff were helpful,the pricing was good value and the location was good and I will look at returning next week if available.

My only gripe and it stopped me from ordering was that there were no prices on the menu in the Bar-Lounge, I get that the Hotel has to re coup from it's room rates but if I see the prices I can make an informed decision,there are options around the Hotel but I would suggest they would sell more if people could see at a glance what it costs. I manage a golf Club,I'm well aware of what it costs to run such an operation and I always tell my staff to be completely transparent on pricing,both online and in person. A bugbear of mine,the Carpark needs a littler pick so looks unloved,It's a 5 minute job 3 times a week.
