Staff were amazing. Whilst breakfast was finished staff could not do enough for our grandchild. They advised if items were not available they would get them for her. Telephone staff were very helpful in that we extended our stay and whilst the reception staff were not able to guarantee the same room the telephone booking service managed to support us so we didn’t have to change rooms. Facilities were great bar area was very clean as was all other areas including the toilets.

There could be more disabled parking slots near the front reception area. We did not know there was additional disabled parking to the rear until the last evening.

Staff was very welcoming on arrival, room was a very good size and clean, good choice for breakfast and breakfast staff was very helpful, hotel was in a good location for getting about.

There was no toilet brush in the bathroom for the toilet, the jacuzzi at the pool was out of order for cleaning all weekend we were there could not use it, also the slope in the swimming pool is very dangerous for adult & children not knowing there a drop. Parking area for large vehicles bus/large van etc

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Newcastle Gosforth Park for a business trip and was very satisfied with the experience. Really, my stay at the Holiday Inn Newcastle Gosforth Park was pretty smooth sailing. Nothing major to moan about – it ticked all the boxes for a comfy and convenient trip. Spot-on room and solid Wi-Fi, what more could you ask for? It's all good in my book!

I had a great stay. Super clean hotel thanks to Sharon & her friendly housekeeping crew. Breakfast was fantastic, well cooked bacon, fresh orange & apple juice, choice of everything. The front of house team greet you with genuine warmth and were slick and responsive. Such a large team of employees from the local area is a credit to the hotel. Drinks were great, good menu. GREAT pillows! Soft cotton linen, nice soap & bath/shower products. I will be back to try the pool & spa

-Cleanliness, pool, electric car charging, free parking, nice sized rooms. -Really good breakfast but quality depends on the team of people working on the day. Few days ago we had a great breakfast, but on this stay a few days later, not so good. -High power electric car chargers are a close drive, if needed. -Staff were great; very helpful, smiling, good attitudes.

-This visit, morning breakfast wasn't quite as good as a few days earlier; fried eggs were really runny, black pudding was terrible, coffee tasted like diesel, mushrooms were soggy. Breakfast dur8ng our stay a few days earlier was fantastic; different staff, I guess. -Staff member managing morning breakfast constantly sneezing, coughing, and obviously quite ill.

-The hotel was well staffed, everyone had a good attitude, helpful and smiling; unbelievable, and I don't say this lightly. I have been to Holiday Inns all over and this one, seems to be the best run one I've seen. -Rooms and bathrooms were clean; really clean. We stayed in room 50 something. -Breakfast was really good; jezz sounds like I'm gushing but it's true. The hot breakie was great; maybe we caught them on a good day but staff did an excellent job for have an almost filled hotel. Caveat, just in case you needed one, your experience may differ for any number of reasons at other times during the year but the staff on 29th/30th Dec 2023 were awesome.

During this stay, there was nothing we didn't like.

The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and as my husband is disabled and the lift was out of order, they managed to allocate us a room on the ground floor. The room waa comfortable and quiet, the bathroom was clean, though the bath was rather high to get into for an over-bath shower and my husband had a bit of a struggle to get into it. However, the facilities in the room were good (tv, wifi, mirror with power points nearby), and the food was very good. Enjoyed our short stay very much.

This hotel is fantastic, staff are so friendly and can’t do enough. Facilities are great, we had two lovely swims in the pool & enjoyed the steam & sauna rooms. Room was ideal, immaculately clean and exactly what we needed for an over night stay. Bar and restaurant were ideal, we ordered some food in the evening whilst our children played table football. Pizza was delicious

The staff were very welcoming as we arrived. We stayed here for the great north run and they accommodated us as much as possible. Arranged taxis in to town, had a notice board and a member of staff in reception giving help and advise to anybody needing it, offered showers after the run even for those not staying over. We couldn't have asked for more.

The only thing I'd say is that breakfast was quite expensive. (£13.95 If I remember rightly) and if you only want continental then it's alot to pay. I simply wanted a bowl of porridge and it was the most expensive bowl of porridge I've ever purchased! Other breakfast options should be available.

such a lovely hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent breakfast, lovely communal areas where my kids were happy to run around and even a little kids room where they could play while we had dinner. Lovely pool with sauna and steam. You can tell the hotel is well managed as everything runs like clockwork and the staff all seem happy which creates a nice atmosphere Everything felt easy - I was sad to leave!
