Looked very nice, love the fridge in the room very nice layout and where it was situated and amazing food with plenty of tea and coffee

The bed was too soft and the toilet was far too low down and when you sat on it you got the boiler digging into your back so that was very unpleasant and the front door didn't fit correct when you shit it and locked it you could see a gap along the top of the door where light was getting through

The location is great as there is a regular bus service right outside on the road which can be used to access all parts of Northumberland. The plentiful breakfast has a good choice of food and is well cooked with quality ingredients. Although other venues are available within a short distance, we chose to eat there for our evening meal as the food is outstanding. If eating there in the evening, a table reservation is necessary due to its popularity. All the staff are friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay there.

The beer is expensive.

this is a fabulous b&b. great value for money and superb staff, breakfast and facilities. very clean and lovely self contained unit

we always seem to stay in room 3 but this time like the last we couldn’t sleep well due to the mattress. the springs dog in and hurt. there is no padding at all. when you rub your hand across the bed you can feel the springs, I’m surprised it isn’t noted when the beds made.

rooms clean and large the food in restaurant was great the breakfast was excellent staff friendly and helpful

just one flaw in the system was there was an incident in the next chalet to ours keeping us awake well into the early hours which ended with the police being involved, when mentioned it to the staff the following day there was no apologies they just shrugged their shoulders which was disappointing

The location was great for visiting family. There were 6 of us having 3 rooms altogether and the garden furniture outside the property enabled us to sit together outside our accommodation and this was a real bonus in the sunshine. The breakfast was great and the cook was very accommodating. The restaurant/pub is very pleasantly decorated and comfortable.

This property was perfectly located for us - walking distance to my relative's home, next to the river for lovely walks and across the road from a convenience store. It was separate to the pub building itself and really quiet and self contained. The room was much larger than expected, more like a mini suite, and the addition of a mini fridge was an extra bonus. The breakfasts were amazing - freshly cooked to order and very plentiful at a time that suited us! We also ate in the pub for Sunday roast and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had a small problem with the pressure in the boiler dropping so we had no hot water/heating but as soon as we popped into the main building to ask about it, one of the staff immediately came across and dealt with the issue - fantastic! A really great place to stay and such lovely, friendly staff!

The bed was slightly soft for me and the shower was quite small but just minor points.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable; all was very clean. The food in the pub was excellent, both for the bar meal and breakfast. We had a lovely night with relatives on the Saturday when there was a singer on in the pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definately stay again.

Our only negative was the shower cubicle was on the small side, the snallest I've ever been in, there wasn't much room to turn round. We are both average sized adults so it would be a real struggle for anyone bigger than average height and weight. Pity really as there was more than enough room in the bathroom for a bigger cubicle.

Food - breakfast and dinner - was superb. The staff were friendly and obliging. Location ideal for us. The room was a good size with plenty of room for us and our dog - and his bed. Good to have a fridge in the room and thanks for the bottled water.

There was only one armchair in the bedroom. Insufficient toiletries (just one shampoo and one conditioner, no shower gel) for two people. The bed was awful - lumpy mattress with a deep valley down the middle into which we fell while trying to sleep! Room was tired looking - in need of a freshen up. Lighting not good - just the bedside lights and no other occasional lights in the room. Could have done with a few more tea bags.

Lots to like about this accommodation. The check-in at the pub was quick with helpful staff. The room (in a separate building from the pub) was very nicely furnished, and warm (it had its own controllable boiler). The bed was very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean, and the shower easy to operate. It was also great to have a pub serving good food on hand. I arrived at 8.30pm, and was able to get a quick and very tasty meal within half an hour of arriving. The breakfast was also delicious. Freshly cooked, excellent scrambled eggs!

The only thing that wasn't available was wi-fi in the room. I had a bit of work to do on a laptop, and couldn't do it in the room. It was not a major problem for me. I was able to go and sit in the pub a few steps away in the morning (before it opened) and do my work there using the pub's free wifi. I was able to access Wifi fine in the room through a smartphone - it was just the laptop which I couldn't use.

We stayed at this property as we were day tripping along the Northumberland coast. Property was lovely. Pet friendly. Clean, spacious, tv, fridge, tea and coffee etc.. It was great to have our own room/chalet in the courtyard of the Half Moon Inn. It was one of 4 and we had our own front door and chairs to sit outside in the front. The Half Moon Inn was nice, everyone was lovely we had a few drinks there in the evening and sat outside in the sun. Lots of on site parking and a Nisa shop right across the road. Lots of places to visit in Northumberland we found the closest was Newbiggin by the sea which was a few miles away by car. On leaving we travelled a bit further along the coast to Druridge bay, Amble, Beadnell and staying overnight at Bambrugh.

Nothing I didn’t like.
