Had the most amazing weekend staying at hotel Collingwood with my mum. Beautifully decorated rooms which feel cosy and clean with everything we needed. We sat in the lovely hotel bar which has board & card games, a great selection of drinks and a pool table. It’s Close to the beach and park where the Christmas market and the spectacular Christmas tree trail is which is where we spent our entire day, however after getting in the festive spirit a little to much we got lost on our way back and had to ring the hotel to find out how to get back 🫣 The lovely James went out of his way and saved the day by finding us and bringing us back to the hotel. Great hotel perfectly situated lots to do we didn’t use the pool as had no time, can’t wait to return!

Steps from the car park at the back of hotel were a little tricky. But using the front door was great.

Lovely hotel. I booked for a weekend for my partners birthday and in requests let them know it was a celebration on arrival there were balloons in the room and rose petals. The room itself was beautiful with amazing views of the sea. The spa was nice and relaxing. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was tasty overall a very nice stay. Only downfall I would say was the room had no fridge. The spa was out of use for one of the days due to maintenance work. And you have to pay for parking. I would have gave the hotel a 10 if the spa worked on both days and the price included parking. But overall a lovely stay and I would defo stay again

Stayed in a Cozy Double on the 3rd floor. Amazing room. Comfy bed and love the Smart TV. Spa facilities were fantastic, such a great bonus. Even treated myself to a massage. Breakfast included too. This was lovely, great choice of hot dishes and selection of cereal and yoghurt along with juices and hot drinks :) Also so close to the front! What a hidden gem! Only negative I would say would be the shower. Took a while to heat up and while in the shower I picked all the limescale off of the waterfall head. Oddly satisfying but the cleaners really should do this. Other than that it was brilliant and so happy to have found a decent deal for a get away Definitely would recommend and visit again.

Great location - 5 minute walk one way is the beach, and a 5 minute walk the other is the town, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel has good car parking, a nice games room and pool, with hot tub and sauna, the rooms are clean and spacious and the staff were really friendly.

The room I was in was really nice 214, however, the shower pressure was poor and the toilet and sink location was silly. The sink is too large and means you can't sit on the toilet without hugging the sink or leaning to the side. Odd being that it was a large bathroom. (We are slim build, so larger people would really struggle).

Lovely decorated room on Floor 3. En suite finished to a high standard & no issues with hot water. Location of the hotel handy for the Bournemouth International Centre, beach, Pier & town centre. The Lindt chocolate bunny was a much appreciated nice touch for Easter. Staff were very welcoming & helpful.

The room was situated to the front of the hotel so was noisy due to the busy road & drunken revellers. I was woken at 0220 by a drunk resident shouting & slamming his room door. There was constant barking from a residents dog for at least 20 minutes when it's owner was having breakfast this morning. Not great on a Sunday morning when I hadn't slept well.

The room was very snug, could only just get around the bed, but I was aware and ok with that before booking, they made the best use of the limited space they had. For a 1 or 2 night break it was perfectly ok as out most of the time and was used as a base, but for a longer stay I would feel a little cramped. Décor nice, much better than when I stayed previously, I think they were working their way through hotel, communal areas are lovely. Pillows were like sand bags but these were changed with no problem. Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.

I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like.

Great location, super close to the town centre. Room was very clean with good facilities and had obviously been freshly painted. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna on site and the bar was nice. Parking also seemed reasonably priced compared to other places we have stayed. Good value for money for what we paid considering quality of the room and the location.

We had a double bed which was 2 singles pushed together. This is the most annoying thing about some hotels, sleeping with a dip in the middle of the bed. I found my half comfy, partner wasn’t keen. Room was hot at night but when opening the windows it was quite noisy all night.

I thought the family room was very spacious. The bed was so comfortable had a great nights sleep. Loved the games room with my daughters. Staff were attentive. The food was so delicious and well presented and came out so quickly (evening meal and breakfast)the bubble lounge was lovely and the gold room. Beautiful decor. I can see it will be lovely in the summer as can use the outside area too then. My daughter has a health condition and the staff even put a fridge in our room free of charge! Plus heated up her food for her that we had to bring. So helpful

I felt like the room needed updating a bit just to modernise it. Couldn't get in the wardrobe properly as the bedside table was in the way. Few marks on the walls in the room with the bunkbeds. It was a shame the jacuzzi wasn't very warm. Also in the bubble lounge there is a member of staff a female who was behaving a bit erratically. She made out it was getting really busy and said she felt overwhelmed and stressed and would we prefer the gold room instead of the bubble lounge to sit in? We said no we had booked the bubble lounge.... there was only 6 people sitting in there but she said it was busy.. we were very confused ...

Room was very good modern facilities all presented nicely and was clean. They also have ev charging points in their lower car park which was excellent for me driving an electric car.

The only problem we had were the extra charges I had taken from my bank account we took our dog with us which wasn't a problem for the hotel but we were charged an extra 15 pounds for him then there was a 10 pound charge for parking maybe I missed that when I booked the room but it should be made clearer for people to understand.

Hotel is fresh and modern, rooms were everything you'd expect, very clean. Facilities were good for an able-bodied guest. Breakfasts were great, though some hot drinks and food require a supplement payment.

Unfortunately, the rooms were very hot and no air con is in the rooms so probably not likely to revisit here in the summer months. Facilities were good for an able-bodied guest but could be better for a disabled guest, we had a wheelchair user in our group, we were informed ahead of booking rooms were not accessible but was advised the room would be large enough to fit in the wheelchair and the user would be able to get around. This was not the case and the guest had to change from their originally assigned room, the substitute room was larger however, the rooms would still benefit from accessibility modifications.
