It's an easy walk to the top of the West Cliffs, and spectacular views from a nice park area. The hotel is clean and as well-maintained as you can expect from a fairly old building. The area has a good number of restaurants, at least one pub, and a little convenience store. Check-in is very easy, and the instructions on how to find your room & how to get your key are very detailed & clear.

They're clearly doing their best, but salt air isn't kind to old buildings. Nothing that affects your stay, but you can see that it's slowly deteriorating. The hotel water is tank water, so it's not fit for drinking. They do warn you, and provide a couple of bottles, but you will probably end up buying more from the little convenience store if you're staying for more than a day.

Good location not too far from the beach and easy to get into the town about about a 15 min walk. Bed was comfy and good to have a chair and a long mirror. It was handy to have a fridge in the room. Plenty of space to put clothes. The fan was helpful in the room as could get stuffy at times.

The view from our window not great as next doors building but that obviously can’t be helped. If you wanted house keeping you had to pay but we decided we didn’t need it. Even though plenty of space to put clothes the chest of drawers were not the best as drawers get stuck and bottom one not easy to use so didn’t use it.

Instructions from management is clear and easy to follow. Room is clean and linen smells fresh when I came in. Toilet and bath is clean enough. Good location near the cliff by the sea, and easy to find. Hassle-free check in and check out for someone who's used to accommodations with keycodes and key lockboxes. Lift not working but I didn't need it anyway. The electric fan was helpful during the hot nights. Plenty of lights to keep the entrance, corridors, stairs and rooms well-lit. Space, furnitures and basic provisions are enough for a solo traveller like me. The tv remote control was missing when I arrived but the staff sorted it within the day so not really a problem. Staff are really helpful and responsive, especially Jack, he's lovely and nice. Chill.

The only problem I had was the weak water pressure in the facilities. I'm guessing it's very much related to my room being on the top floor and the water reservoir is from the ground? Could be. It's weak that it takes me long in the shower to rinse my body. Even the toilet cistern takes time to refill after a flush. Aside from that, everything else is splendid and recommendable.

Went for a few days with my daughters to get away from big city, the location was excellent, could walk to nearest town and beach, restaurants and local shops were at hand. I recommend Silver how to anyone and I will definitely go again with or without family.

There is nothing really that I did not like, I would suggest a mini refrigerator in bedrooms to keep drinks cool on summer days , specially for families with children. And increase if possible the pressure for showers (took 45 to 60 minutes for each person to shower). Just a point of view not a negative.

It was clean and in a great location but also nice and quiet at night. The staff replied to messages promptly. Good value for money and the toiletries were a nice touch and it's always nice to have a hairdryer and iron in the room. The staff were great at messaging you the information you need regarding your stay.

The shower had no power so it was quite difficult to wash my hair as its thick. The bed was very hard so personally not comfortable for me. As there was no actual staff around, I didn't have any milks so had to message which felt awkward and they did say they would bring some but didn't. You could really do with information in the room ie. Where to find the gym.

Good location, close to the beach. There is a self check in system, very easy to use, you will get all information by email before arrival. Onsite parking for £5/night but limited space, so book in advance. We wasn't lucky, but find another parking just a 5 min. away. Cost more but at least it was close. You can't get a breakfast here , however there is a lot of option near by to eat a nice bf. We went 2 times to Olive's cafe for breakfast, which is just 8 min. away, it was delicious. We booked 2 rooms, both are nice and clean with comfy beds. Looks like it's just renovated and they did a great job. Tea, coffee, bottled water in the rooms 🙏

Just a GP breakfast tea in the rooms, no fruity or other options and no brown sugar . Not a major issue but it would be nice to change.

Can't fault the location, so close to the beach and town and also a local shop for any last minute essentials. The room was clean and check in was easy due to the instruction messages we had. We also reserved a parking spot outside which was perfect as this was essential when we looked for places to stay. Easy to find using the Sat Nav. No noise issues at night from outside or inside.

The bathroom was dated and I hate to say it, unfortunately having a shower was not a great experience at all, the water pressure is almost non-existent, I know the water in the building is provided from a tank but perhaps putting in an electric shower would be a better option? Also, I think we had a winter quilt which made sleeping difficult although grateful for the fan provided.

The location was fantastic, and the parking was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and smelled lovely and fresh. Towels were fluffy, toiletries left were nice, the space was very good considering the price as well and everything you’d need was there. Check in was easy especially with the instructions sent and I honestly would consider staying again and would recommend. All the communal hallways were very clean as well

I didn’t dislike anything about the hotel. I would say it would be nice for a cigarette bin outside or a pot of sand just for convenience for any smokers (I’m not but people in my party are) and just to make sure people don’t dump the ends on the floor.

The location was absolutely perfect, 10 minute walk into the city centre. And a 5 minute walk to be standing on the sandy beach. The bed was also very comfortable and the parking was very reasonable compared to other options.

The bathroom was quite small but it was manageable, however the shower was very problematic. The pressure of the water was little to none, what would normally be a quick 2 minute shower took about 10 minutes because of no water pressure. Also the water did not drain for entirety of my shower so it filled to my feet with dirty water which is quite off putting.
