I had a double room that was basic but very spacious. The staff was excellent and the bus service was convenient. For an additional fee, I could use the state-of-the-art gym, which was great for me with my disabilities. The pool was average size, but it was still accessible to people with disabilities. Assistance was available if needed. During the festive period of December 25th and 26th, there was a reduced service, and rooms would only be cleaned if you requested it the evening before. All the necessary details were provided in the room, including full instructions on the restaurant’s operating hours, which I highly recommend. The food was of exceptional quality. While this hotel is rated as a three-star, I personally believe it should be higher. The staff went above and beyond their job duties and were truly marvellous. Overall, I would definitely return and stay longer.

The restroom is experiencing some blockage. Additionally, the room could benefit from some tidying up.

We have visited this hotel as well as one or two others elsewhere in the Village group on a few occasions over the last fifteen years or so, and it has changed somewhat ,catering more for local fitness enthusiasts, as well as providing multi TV screens for sport enthusiasts, and young families. It's a bums on seats strategy that brings in much needed income , though not now quite suited to our octogenarian tastes. Nevertheless , our room was a good size with a huge comfortable bed, and a shower easily accessible for my wife, as a her overall physical capabilities slowly deteriorate. We chose not to sample breakfast in our 5 night stay as we had already made in-family arrangements.

Our room was on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel looking across to Bournemouth General Hospital. On at least 2 nights, we were kept awake by noisy revellers on the benches in front of the bar section on the ground floor. Also did not expect the £5 per day parking charge ,added since our previous visit. However, this will not deter us from returning to the Village at sometime in the near future.

Lovely staff - my wife is not well (cancer) and the staff were very helpful in providing extra bedding and refreshments, bed was fine. All showed kindness and cheerfulness at all times. Night manager was very considerate. Cannot thank them enough. 24 hour Tesco nearby so able to get things that hotel could not offer.

tea/coffee in room was just about enough - sachets for coffee very hard to open for us, not enough milk. room a bit tired, small areas of mould in bathroom. breakfast on day of departure not so good - porridge not cooked enough, scrambled egg on hot plate almost cold for both breakfast days booked via booking.com which did not clarify parking over 4 hours has fee

Easy check in and check out. The staff were all very polite and ready to help at all times, from the front desk to the to the restaurant, the Starbucks and the swimming area this hotel can not be faulted on its hospitality as the staff have impeccable customer service and communication skills. The manager of the hotel was incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive, went above and beyond to make sure that my partner and I were comfortable and ensured that we knew he was on hand to help with anything we may need. We definitely recommend this hotel and will most definitely return and even do a family trip with our two children next time as this hotel is very much a family friendly establishment, once your in your room their is little to no noise disturbances which was absolutely amazing as we did go to take a break.

Our room was on the second floor, accessible by lift. Plenty of storage and comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed due to the location to the hospital. The breakfast was good.

The seemed for a wheelchair user, which is great, though the buffers at the end of the beds were a trip hazard for us. Our room was above the entrance, which was very noisy during the evening and into the night as we overlooked the outside area for the pub/grill bar. Ask for a room the other side of the building! The menu for vegetarians was beyond poor. The ''pub classics'' had one dish. If you are vegetarian who doesn't enjoy spicy food, THERE WAS NOTHING!

We stayed here for a weekend and the experience is very good. the checkin process is simple. There is ample amount of parking space and they mentioned that if we park the car between 1530 on Friday to 14:30 on Sunday - the parking is pretty much free otherwise there is a charge. the rooms are of decent size compared to UK standards and restrooms are very good. and they allowed outside food. There is a tesco in less than 10 minute walk from the Hotel and a Bus station if we want to use public transport into Bournemouth.

As usual like many places in UK, the WiFi coverage could have been better

We only stayed here for the night, and did not take breakfast as we left the hotel very early for our flight back home. The decor of the room was fantastic, we loved it, the room was confortable and clean. The staff were excelent and we got our room immediately we arrived, even though it was before noon. There is nothing to complain about as far as the hotel is concerned.

Some patrons in the bar were being funny and noisy, Unfortunately there was a group of gay men who literally made the bar unreasonably uncomfortable. But the staff were understandable and gave us a table away from them.

Breakfast was lovely and a great selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kids loved there lanyards. Nice size pool and the changing areas felt clean. We had a family room which was a great size and the shower was clean and easy to use.

The other guest congregated outside the front door smoking and swearing just as I was putting the kids to bed. (Saturday night) We have a couple transactions on the bill I'm a little unsure about as I payed for everything as we went. There was another 30 added on departure that my husband sorted. But headed realised until we were on the way home.

Every single staff member we encountered during our stay, were friendly, approachable, helpful and just generally lovely. It really put the extra sparkle on our stay. We stayed for our 5th wedding anniversary, and I mentioned it on the notes when booking. We were surprised to find Prosecco in our room on our arrival to celebrate. It was a beautiful touch- thank you so much. We had a leak in the air conditioning, we mentioned it to reception, and they had someone check it straight away, and moved us to a different room. The pool/sauna/steam room- was lovely. Clean, easily accessible and the changing rooms were lovely and clean. I really appreciated the swimming costume dryer. The beds were beautifully comfy. As parents to a toddler- who don’t always get much sleep- this was a rare treat to have a wonderful sleep in a comfy bed! The breakfast was delicious

The only criticism I have is when we had dinner in the pub and grill in the evening, I thought the food was delicious, but I was super full and couldn’t finish my chips. I asked if I could have my chips boxed up to eat later but they explained that this wasn’t allowed, which was frustrating, but the staff member explained kindly why it wasn’t possible.

Helpful reception staff who went above and beyond to help problem solve. Lovely big pool with staff who offered help. Good food served well. The breakfast team were able to provide coffee during a breakfast service quickly despite the only coffee machine breaking. Good sized room with a big, comfy bed.

No travel cot available despite this being part of our booking and emails confirming and asking which room it was for. The reception staff were really helpful, trying to consider alternatives. We offered to go and buy a cot, but they were not able to guarantee reimbursement. With no other option, we did decide to buy a cot, but the manager was then not able to refund the money spent. We were given food vouchers as an alternative. One lift for the 5 floor building. One evening, the lift broke. It was fixed by the morning, but with a toddler and heavily pregnant member in our party, it was a trek to the 4th floor.
