The staff were excellent. Nicole in the bar area made us instantly welcome and helped us by advising to book a table for dinner as it would be busy. All the staff were attentive and polite. The bed linen was immaculate and the bed comfy. We walked along the main road in Callander and we were very glad we'd picked this hotel over the others...it had atmosphere and had a nicer interior with bright bar area and good drinks selection. Breakfast was huge which set us up for a long day of walking ahead.

Minor point....Shower head and shower sealant and door could do with some mould treatment as it was quite black.

I arrived late after delayed flights to Scotland, they kept the kitchen open a little past 2100 so I could eat. All the staff were super friendly. Bar was well packed with lots of locals & some travellers too. Food was good, & no crazy prices. My room was above the bar but was still quiet & no direct noise. Bed was comfy & had all the basics.

Not their fault but it's on the main street & there is some truck traffic passing all night. Close the window & likely isn't a problem !

Excellent rooms - spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. One of the best family rooms I’ve ever stayed in anywhere.

Breakfast was lacking. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal boxes, some bananas and a couple of pots of yoghurt. Because of this everyone ordered a La carte, which meant the kitchen was swamped and it took 30 minutes to get my order. And whilst there is a coffee machine - it was not operational during breakfast. Why?? Weekends can sometimes be a little noisy with live music however the manager did his best to ensure the least disturbance - thank you!

Staff were amazing especially Stephen who welcomed us for check in right through to check out. Food was amazing too, lovely beer garden with fantastic wall heaters all round. Rooms were spotless, everything you need tea/coffee etc hair dryer & iron plus board.

The only little downfall was the very old fashioned windows, (pull up and down windows) room was cold because of the windows.

The staff were excellent throughout Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant - from reception through bar, catering and cleaning staff They really made the stay for us

Some of the facilities were a bit dated and tired looking but mainly in keeping with the hotel All were functional and comfortable

The location is amazing, and the staff couldn’t have been any more friendlier towards us. We had an overnight stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. Hotel room was spot on. Really enjoyed the restaurant as we ate there for dinner, highly recommend. The two people at the front of house on the Friday evening were lovely!

Nothing, everything was good. No complaints.

The staff are always very welcoming recognising us from previous visits. Rooms just lovely, breakfast and dinner just absolutely brilliant no complaints at all. It feels great to continue to come back to the Waverley and we are never ever disappointed by the standards from the moment you check in to the moment you leave nothing is too much trouble.

The front rooms are a bit noisier with the traffic but we understand that nothing can be done about this our preference would be to always have a room at the back of the premises but didnt put us off booking again when we got back for July this time with our grandchildren.

Lovely location and staff were great! Bed was super comfy and the room was clean.

Very clean but a quite tatty around the edges, shower had a lot of mildew/mould, flooring very tatty, and console was very loosely fitting and seemed to have been secured with toilet paper. There was also a huge amount of banging up until around 1am and then starting at 6am so wasn't the longest sleep albeit a comfortable one. Perhaps a tad pricey for the quality.

Lovely hotel and pub. Staff very friendly. Food was good and great selection of drinks. Had some games to play at the table as well, nice touch.

Room was very warm. We had the window open all night but not much air. Perhaps a fan in the smaller rooms?

Excellent breakfast. Good selection and quality of food was lovely. We had dinner here too and the meals were fabulous. Lovely friendly staff. So helpful. Rooms were a good size and reasonably comfortable bed. Good powerful shower and supplied shower gel.

Hotel bar closed at 10:30pm and we arrived back from an event at 11pm. Would've been nice to have a drink in the bar however the hotel was in darkness.
