Exceptional hospitality, absolute cleanliness, and charming design with lots of paintings and mirrors. The decor is very well thought through. New slippers and tea/coffee making facilities. A super warm and friendly landlady. Nice view from the window. Quiet during the night. Bus stop across the road with buses to the centre of Cambridge. Very beautiful and cozy property, safe neighborhood.

My mattress was a little bit too soft, with springs, but okay. Low water pressure in the shower, soap dispensers should be replaced as it is very difficult to get a proper amount of shampoo or soap, enough to wash your hair and take a shower. These small details didn't spoil our stay which was very pleasant overall! Thank you for the hospitality!

We were happy to see the small touches - the coffee, tea and biscuits and the shower gels and creams. We don’t see these items at Airbnbs anymore so this was a welcoming touch. Thank you. Your staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our cooked breakfast. Also appreciated the quick replies to our email inquiries.

The check-in could have been better. We didn’t know it would be self serve. We arrived before 3pm to drop off our bags (we were told we could do this). No one on site. We were unable to call because we are from outside the UK. Luckily someone responded to our email quickly and we were able to get into our room. Our suggestion: send the entry code at noon (when room is ready). This will really help international travellers.

Lovely clean property and great breakfasts. There is a bus stop nearby and very convenient for getting into the City. The host was very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. As we were staying 3 nights we asked for more teabags but even though he didn't have that variety, he gave us an alternative. If guests are arriving early for check-in, perhaps you could have a price for a slightly earlier check-in, too.

We couldn't understand the pricing at this property. We had rooms 5 and 7 and considering room 7 was much larger with a larger bed, it was the same price as room 5. Perhaps the smaller rooms could warrant slightly less or the larger ones slightly more. Bed wasn't very comfy for 3 nights but we are used to a posturepedic deeper mattress. I think the manager needs to be kept up-to-date with events in the City, perhaps get some discounts sorted out for guests staying at the property for things such as college tours or punting (as everything is expensive in the City).as a business, it's good to work together with other local businesses (as it helps both parties out esp with the cost of living rising). Just a suggestion and not a negative.

Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable, took me a while to find a sleeping position without having a spring in my side. Mattress upgrade needed

Nicely decorated rooms, friendly helpful staff and great cooked breakfast ( including continental items). Extremely clean. Good location, less than 30 minute walk or easy direct 10 minute bus to central Cambridge but also free car parking .

Bed not the most comfortable-not that supportive. Housekeeping only every couple of days which was fine but need bigger bins because of this. (However the housekeeping was of an extremely high standard when it did occur.)

Could not sit the window in the room, I was asked about my breakfast options for a long time prior to the stay with no idea what choice I could have , finally emailed my choice and in the morning no one had any idea and was given something other then ordered. Never provided that I needed a pin to unlock keys to let myself in had to ring to get that info from my Australian phone maybe don’t assume that guest have asses to be able to call as never explained in emails

Spacious and quite modern rear room, superbly freshly decorated light and airy room and newly fitted out on-suite bathroom. Everything is super clean and no clutter anywhere :) I believe the whole guest house and rooms have been refitted and redecorated out to this very high standard throughout. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Easy to find guest house and easy to park your car. Excellent position for buses in / out of Cambridge. Fully Recommend Panther Taxi service.

The staff at the guesthouse were fantastic, very welcoming and chatty throughout the stay. They happily recommended local sites to see and restaurants/pubs to visit. The room was immaculately decorated and maintained, with the additional extras supplied (earplugs, slippers etc) an unexpected bonus. The guesthouse is an uncomplicated 20-25 minute walk into the city centre.

We were at the front of the guesthouse, and it was very noisy. There was roadworks immediately opposite the house, and although this is a temporary situation, and beyond the control of the guesthouse, the road itself is quite buys in its' own rights, with motorbikes, cars and trucks frequent users. This meant we were unable to open our window at night, which led to 2 sleep disturbed nights, which is a real shame as the rest of the package is excellent.

The rooms are spacious and the made to order breakfast was great!

Checkin was quite difficult. I didn’t know that we needed to call on arrival to the property to get the keys. I was not prepared and did not have my phone available for communication. If we didn’t run into other guests and borrowed their phone, I would not have been able to get into the room. I was tired by the time I reached the property and was quite frustrated by the check in process.

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and exceptional. Thank you very much for your welcome and your hospitality.
