The hotel is conveniently located into the historic centre of Cambridge therefore you can avoid using anything else but your feet to visit the city and reach any interesting point, anyways a parking place is very close in case you got here driving your car. The hotel facilities are inside the historic Jesus College, the building is modern and well designed and is perfectly integrated with the ancient college's estate. Rooms are quite ample with a usable balcony overlooking gardens of another college, the road below is not too noisy thanks to the fact it's in an area where traffic is limited. Breakfast is served in one of the college's refectories adorned with the portraits of former deans, or at least I believe they were ;). While going to the refectory one can admire the college's gardens and greens as well as other areas. The served breakfast is rich and varied therefore you can have a proper english breakfast eating as much cholesterol as you love (just joking) or opt for something lighter and healthier like fresh fruits, yoghourt and a cup of tea. Anyone of the staff we talked with was kind an gentle and ready to answer our questions. Travelling as parents with a 3yo baby we found this hotel really welcoming and well suited. PS I see Booking.com flags us as Dutch but we are Italian.

The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. It was quiet, overlooking a pretty college Court, and was well placed for getting to points of interest. Breakfasts were good and served in lovely surroundings. It was buffet style but the staff were very helpful with my husband (walking sticks and trays are not a good combination). The luggage storage was very helpful if you arrive early or depart after check out. Overall very good value for money. The only slight negative is that there seems to be no direct access to West Court by bus from the railway station, most routes being a 5-10 minute walk away.

All the facilities you’d expect from a hotel room with the bonus of actually being in a Cambridge College. Friendly staff, good sized room, bed very comfy, great shower room, excellent wifi, and a splendid view across the court. Very relaxed atmosphere, able to wander the grounds, explore the chapel. Breakfast in the dining hall was also a bit special, just a self-serve setup but a good selection and the surroundings somewhat different from your average hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.
Tiny point, but maybe another coffee machine at breakfast, bit of a queue when busy.

Really lovely welcome and goodbye the following morning from receptionist. Friendly staff at breakfast too.Very convenient location to explore town and really nice to be able to explore the grounds of Jesus college too. The room was large enough, big window, clean and a well lit shower room with a brilliantly powerful shower .The bed was very comfy.THe room was very hot but there were 2 doors opening to a juliet style balcony to allow some fresh air in Breakfast was in the great hall across the grounds , buffet style and plenty of choice. Seating at refectory style tables and overseen by portraits of the great and the good ( of Jesus College presumably) Worth noting.... its a clear your own breakfast things away off the table... its not a hotel you know!!! :-)
The room was very modern and stylish but the lighting after dark wasnt great.

Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Infact, the whole place felt spotless and clean. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast which was good is in the Main Hall, very Harry Potter! The booking allows access around the grounds which are lovely. Great location close to shopping, restaurants etc. Our room was super quiet overlooking the grounds. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. There is a facility to store luggage.
Nothing at all. The only weird thing is that there are no hooks in the bathroom, particularly there is no where to conveniently hang the hand towels so we had to use the toilet roll holder! Bit weird but nothing to put us off highly recommending this place.

It is centrally located, yet very quiet. The rooms are small but functional including coffee/tea facility. The wifi was good and quick. The Roost Café opens up at 9:00 am and is a great place for a morning cappuccino.
It was, certainly in the beginning, difficult to find my way through the college area, the signage was not good. The explanation by the reception staff was unclear. I once ended up being locked inside an otherwise open area because I could enter but the door in the fence would not open again with my room card. Breakfast is okay (English style and croissant/Danish, no bread) and the hall itself was cold and windy. Breakfast time is rather limited.

This was my third stay at West Court - Jesus College. It's a really great option when in town for work or visiting friends. It's very central, easy quick cab ride from train station, or short walk into town centre. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. There's a little coffee/tea station with biscuits, and also a big desk for those looking to do some work. Bathroom is a bit more college-y feel and basic, but clean and meets expectations. You get to have breakfast with students during term time which is an interesting experience for those wanting to see college life. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. You can walk around in the college gardens as well which are lovely. Overall great value.

A really smart and friendly place to stay with access to the beautiful Jesus College grounds. The staff, in particular the people on reception, are lovely. It is really well located for the centre of Cambridge with all of its sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking etc. opportunities. We stayed in one of the apartments for the extra space and comfort. They are well equipped with a double bedroom with a comfortable and good size bed, a toilet/shower room, plus a lounge/diner with 2 person sofa, dining table, TV and a compact but well equipped kitchen. Both the bedroom and lounge/diner have sliding doors onto a balcony overlooking Jesus Street. The self-service breakfast is excellent with good coffee. continental and cooked breakfast options. You will not leave hungry. This is the second time we have stayed and we will definitely come back.
The rooms are very warm which is, I suspect, a function of the modern building being very well insulated. There doesn't seem to be a way to improve this other than opening the windows, which is fine unless it is at night when, for me as a light sleeper, the noise from the street was a problem. In the end I used earplugs to block out the sound and slept very well. If sound is a problem for you either take earplugs or try booking a room rather than an apartment and asking if you can have one that faces into the college rather than onto the street. As far as I can tell, all of the apartments face onto the street.

Excellent location. Although next to road still quiet. Also, I didn't here any noise from any other residents during stay. Spotlessly clean Requested a balcony room, which was provided. Room very comfortable and well appointed. Lovely shower Secure accomdation Lovely grounds Breakfast included
Breakfast could be improved. Porridge was lukewarm at best. Although hall in which breakfast served is shrouded in history, not a huge fan of its layout. That said, I do appreciate its all part of the experience and in no way would it put me off booking this hotel again.

The standard of the accommodation was very high, the staff were excellent and the college grounds/buildings are beautiful.
Last time I stayed in a room on the road side of West Court and I found this preferable to being on the courtyard side as I was this time. As there was no air conditioning in the courtyard rooms I had to sleep with the vents open. However, there was a lot of noise coming from what I assume was students in a games room on the courtyard and this kept me awake until I decided to close the vents which led to me being too hot and not sleeping very well. Also, it was a little unclear where to go for breakfast and many guests were wandering around lost looking for this (more signage would help).
