Bev the cook and Aiden front of house at breakfast were outstanding. Excellent manner, nothing was too much trouble. They made the start of our day The hotel should be proud of both of them. We stayed Monday to Saturday. Unfortunately the weekend breakfast staff were not the same so Saturday breakfast service and food was a disappointment after the high standard up to that point. Rooms were cleaned regularly. Was a good location for us as I'm originally from the Medway Towns and using the hotel as a base to see friends and family. Would definitely use the hotel again but hope that they train up the weekend kitchen staff better. Hope to see Bev and Aiden again at the same time next year!

Rooms, breakfast, humour of reception, cleaners and breakfast people.

Great location with free off road parking. Excellent, convenient public transport links close by. River view, which I upgraded too on arrival Helpful, welcoming, friendly staff. A hearty full English breakfast included in the daily rate. Clean and tidy throughout. Good checkin service. Comfy bed, soft fluffy towels and crisp white linen. Excellent value at St George Hotel and would highly recommend. A very pleasant stay.

The cooked breakfast was good. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Lovely river view. Stayed here twice now.

Notification that the rear car park could not be accessed until a certain time would've been useful. We arrived when building work was being done next door. There was a lorry with a crane hoist blocking the entrance. It moved to give us access then repositioned directly behind us. The barrier wouldn't open so we were sandwiched for 25 mins until someone exited the car park. The hotel rents the rear car park on a restricted timescale.

We thoroughly enjoyed a stay during Xmas at the St George Hotel. The hotel is walkable to both Chatham and Rochester centres. The hotel staff on arrival werefriendly and accommodating. Our room was adequate for our requirements. Very clean facilities. We had Xmas dinner at the Hotel. The staff pulled out all the stops to make it a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. Great value for money. Overall our experience was memorable and we would definitely revisit some in the future.

There wasn't much not to like apart from space in our room io hang clothing was not in abundance.

Easy to find location, close to Rochester high street. Lovely room, large and airy. Breakfast very good value for money. Lovely views over the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially after my mother fell and broke her arm. Highly recommend for a stay if visiting the Medway Towns. I will definitely book any further stays at this hotel.

Upper level car parking facility needs repainting to highlight raised kerbs, as reported to hotel staff.

The hotel looked clean not just the bedroom but even on the corridors, despite having old-looking carpets all over they don't have smell at all! The bedsheets and towels smell good too. The breakfast is good. Comfortable bed and pillows. I slept very well once the noise stopped!

The room description on booking.com says it has a "view"- yes it has a view of a carpark! The room next door kept banging their door until after midnight. The noise of loud music somewhere creates a vibration on the bed, walls on the floor which was annoying. The music was also audible even with the windows closed. But once the loud music stopped, I slept well!

A little Gem. Clean and Friendly. Not the most expensive hotel so was a little worried what I had booked. Really enjoyed my time here. The room was spacious and had an interesting view of the river. There was ample parking as they have an overflow space. The tea making facilities great. staff are attentive and friendly, the toilet seat. was loose and repaired immediately it was reported. The hot breakfast was lovely, quality bacon and sausage, fresh tomato. lots of juice and hot drinks.

decor looked tired in places. tv small and positioned in an odd way on the wall.

Rooms were a decent size. Really good location for the town centre. Breakfast was good, not all you can eat but a decent fry up.

Lack of plug sockets in the room, none near the beds. Rooms are a bit dated and could do with redecorating. Toilet cistern took about 20 minutes to fill up. Car park quite small but I think it was full due to an event the night we stayed. There is an overflow car park down the road.

Friendly staff who are helpful. Freshly cooked breakfast helped by very helpful staff.

Difficult to access the front door. As this is a "disabled accessible venue" the actual accessibility can be difficult. I understand that it's an older building but I'm sure the front door at least could be made easier to use. Why are tv's flat on the wall? Uncomfortable to watch from either bed in double rooms. It's hard to relax and watch tv when the only accessible place is a chair in front of the tv.
