Location was perfect close to Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole. Where we were staying there is a walk way that takes you to the centre of Christchurch. Only takes 15 minutes! Our commodation was excellent! Our host couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Room was cleaned every day..... Bed made, bin emptied. Fresh milk and water supplied with biscuits and to top it all alittle chocolate was left on our bed. Very well looked after.... Bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was of a good size. Quality room. Had a situation with our car and our host gave us a recommendation of a local garage that could sort it out.... They did straight away.... Couldn't ask for more.... Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family. Please book you won't be disappointed 😁

Be aware you have to park on the street opposite the accommodation. Always managed to get a space. .

Nice clean room with good facilities. Great shower. Well presented optional breakfast with fruit, cereals, pastries/bread and yoghurt. House in residential area within walking distance to coast and town centre. Good pubs and range of eateries around. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good coastal walks nearby but need to use foot ferry for some parts.

Room in owners property so shared entrance and ground floor room. Some people would require a car to get anywhere as in residential road although we didn't look the local public transport links. Extra charge for breakfast so some choice would have been nice.

Hi, accommodation was spot on , flawless hosts who were so helpful regarding what to do and where to visit. We were greeted on arrival and shown to an absolutely spotless room complete with an amazing ensuite bathroom and were also shown the beautiful garden. We visited stanpit marsh nature reserve in christchurch harbour, literally a few yards from the accommodation which was great. Anyone thinking of booking , do it you will not be disappointed. When I saw that this B+B was rated exceptional , it aroused my curiosity . I wanted to see why it was so highly rated . Goodness me it certainly is exceptional . Too many little extra touches to mention . It was my husbands 60 th birthday and Michael went the extra mile ( and beyond ) He booked us a table at a wonderful restaurant and arranged a lovely surprise which included a birthday card . We throughly enjoyed our breakfast each morning especially the freshly baked bread and the coffee . Thank you so much Michael and Sue , you certainly have created something special . Delightful stay at Bub Lane Cottage. Michael and partner made us feel so welcome. Organised restaurants for us and so informative about best places to visit. Loved the little touches lots of tea, coffee,biscuits and yummy chocolate! Room immaculate and very comfy bed. Brilliant location to nearby Christchurch town and lovely Mudeford. Would love a return visit!! Thank you very much.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The breakfast was sumptuous! Kept me going for a morning of walking each day. Granola, fruit, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, pastries, fresh bread... best breakfast away from home! Bathroom was spotless, and bedroom had all I needed and more.

I felt stupid when I arrived! I thought I was booking an entire place, with private entrance, even though there was nothing on the website to indicate that. The room is advertised as a bed and breakfast, and that is exactly what it is. Not having used booking.com much, I was unaware that such types of accommodation were also advertised. The hosts sleep upstairs and there was no impact on sense of personal space at all. Michael and his partner were wonderful hosts, and I received very useful local advice from him.

Everything was perfect. Amazing place, spotless clean, very comfortable with private bathroom. Excellent location with proximity to the beach but yet very quiet. Lovely garden to chill after long day at the beach. Michael is a very friendly and accommodating host. Breakfast was delicious, even with a home baked bread! Fantastic value for money in that area. Thank you very much for your hospitality Michael :)

Nothing, everything was as described and much exceeded the expectations.

Our host Michael was very attentive. He made you feel very welcome. He showed us everything and is very knowledgeable about the area - where to eat and places to visit. Filtered water was topped up every day and we had a nice chocolate on our pillow every night! You can also use there lovely garden to sit out and read a book or drink a glass of wine. Michael will also provide breakfast if you want it at an additional cost which is really nice of him. We didn't have breakfast as we were meeting up with friends.

I assumed wrongly it was a separate cottage belonging to number 7 as it was 7b and apologize for asking the lady at number 7 about it when we arrived which irritated her unfortunately. Entirely my fault! The lady directed us to the cattage 7b behind her house. We soon met Michael and he made us very welcome and you share a lovely comfortable room in his house and he allows you to use his beautiful garden terrace ...

Mike and Sue were lovely hosts and very informative and knowledgeable about the area, they made us very welcome and the room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional value for money and the fresh bread was a tasty extra treat, overall a wonderful stay that we couldn't recommend enough, thank you both

That we couldn't stay longer and that it wasn't summer . can't think of anything we didn't like.

The room had all the comforts and an ensuite. Michael, the owner, was a nice host and available for any request, also quite knowledgeable of the area he suggested a couple of places for breakfast and dinner that we tried and appreciated. Every time we came back to the room, there were new chocolates for us and it was tidy up and ready for the night. We really liked the attention to details and care for the guests. The parts of the house available to the guests are beautiful and include the garden. The house is a dream and well connected to the centre and other main places of interests.

Everything was up to my expectations.
