The rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable; it even had a TV in the bed footboard but as we were out at family Christmas we didn’t watch TV The breakfast was very good and freshly prepared to order, with friendly and efficient service.

Fine tuning comments…. a bit sparse on the bathroom toiletries (and replenishing thereof); the automatic Velux bathroom window didn’t work, nor did one of our bedside lamps (but we only realised this going to bed or we’d have said) However, we also realise it was Christmas and staff may have been off

We stayed here 1 night ,after a long drive from Devon it was great to arrive to the very spacious and comfortable accommodation, booking in was easy and we were soon in the warm room . We booked to eat for 6.30 and chose 2 courses from the early menu the food was presented nicely served up fast and was delicious and the price was very agreeable ,the lady that served us was so professional and nice ,back in the room ,the bed was very comfortable ,and in the morning breakfast was excellent as well ,the owner is accommodating and a nice chap. We highly recommend this pub and accommodation and will no doubt be returning in the future.

Stayed here before and returned because we had enjoyed it. Lovely room and breakfast at an excellent price. They have some good January deals on at the moment. Had to request a room change as first one not suitable for my husband who has mobility problems. Dealt with very professionally. The evening meal in the restaurant was superb.

It was a very cold January day and our room was not warm enough. Mentioned it at dinner and when we got back to our room a portable heater had been left outside. Made all the difference.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Great breakfast in a lovely pub. The room was very nice with a powerful shower.

Communication was poor, there was no response from messages on booking.com or Facebook. We had purposefully booked a room with a bath as we don't have one at present and missed it. I even rang the premises before booking who confirmed there was a bath but there was none on arrival. Staff checked other rooms and confirmed none had a bath and it was disappointing after we had checked by phone prior to booking. Other than this it was a lovely place.

We were made very welcome on arrival by Mathew and shown to our room which was amazing. The whole room was extremely clean and the bathroom was fantastic, everything we needed was in the room and it was warm and very comfortable. We ate our evening meal in the adjoining restaurant, great choice of food served piping hot. After a restful nights sleep we enjoyed a superb breakfast in the restaurant, the quality of the food, all locally sourced, and its preparation was top class. I can honestly say it was one of the best cooked breakfasts that we have had. We will definitely be returning to the 3 Millstones.

Nothing.

Good location, clean, extremely friendly staff and excellent quality food, I had read reviews which said portions were small but they were more than adequate, in fact I was so satiated I couldn’t finish dessert, maybe the previous reviewers were related to Mr Creosote and needed a few wafer thin mints!

Restaurant could do with a bar area to retire to after a meal rather than going back to your room or moving on to another place. Room was smaller than expected with view of Nora batty ironing her under garments in the living room across the road but these are minor issues and didn’t spoil the stay.

The property was really quaint - the rooms had lots of character and the location was very peaceful. We had to leave early in the morning so wouldn't have made it for breakfast but the owner left a plate of pastries and yoghurt which was a really nice touch

One small downside was some low ceilings when entering the room area, but the owner did mention these to us and they were well signposted! (My friend did still manage to hit her head but think that's a her problem!)

The location was great with good parking available. The room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. The associated Inn had the most amazing menu and was beautiful and exceptional value. Staff were polite, attentive and informative both about the property and menu. They even sold us a painting off the wall as we liked it so much - "Reginald" the fox. I whole heatedly recommend 3 Millstones Inn and will not go anywhere else when back in the area!!!

There was nothing not to like about this place.

Easy check in my partner was arriving late at 9 pm so did not make the dinner at the pub, managed to get a take away and they provided us with some plates which was welcomed. Had tea outside of the room on some table and chairs was romantic. lovely area, fantastic shower and room everything you require. Breakfast was exceptional 10/10 for the chef however could of been welcomed a little more with a smile when walking in to breakfast felt a bit arkward like we were a inconvenience from the gentlemen there the young lady however was very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect location for our friends wedding at Eaves Hall up the road even managed to walk home on the night only took 5 minutes. There was some home improvement going on too in the morning at the back of the accommodation and was woken up on the thurs morning at 9 am i know that seems late but we had travelled far and got in late so would of been nicer for that to start a little later. comfortable bed, amazing shower and lovely area of lanchashire. we would return.

Home improvement to start later than 9 when your away its nice to have a lie in. (going on at the back of the Accommodation) Bit of a happier welcome when coming for breakfast and would be nice if u could get breakfast up to 10 am especially when you have been at a wedding till 1 am other than that all good

We stayed in a superior room for a friends wedding. It was spacious and light with an excellent size bathroom. It was comfortable and modern while still remaining cosy. The TV in the bed was excellent as there was no other place for it and the blackout curtains were a great touch. Staff were super friendly. Would stay again.

The room was quite warm but with the AC on it did eventually cool down.
