The location was excellent. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean with a very comfy bed. The hotel just smelled clean as soon as you entered, and as you walked along the corridor and in to the room, which also smelled good. The car parking was excellent.

Everything was fine apart from one towel in the room was completely filthy, with what my wife thought was blood, but was probably make-up. It had not been washed properly. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us fresh, clean towels. He also photographed it, saying he would inform the laundry, but I am surprised that housekeeping did not notice it.

Quiet and nice they have lots of toilets

It was pretty far away from the city centre so it took lots of time to get from place to place

The price - I couldn't afford to stay in Birmingham. Everything atleast £100. It was enroute home from Birmingham to London As it is located at the services it meant I could buy a hot drink or food and take to my room even if I was arriving late at night. Cleanliness was excellent An excellent power shower! Late check-out It was easy to carry on my journey the next morning by just hopping back onto the M6

I made the error of booking Days Inn on the wrong side of the M6 ie. Northwards rather than Southwards. Perhaps make this clearer of website which side of motorway you're booking for? The late night receptionist didn't seem 100% competent and was just in scruffy joggers

Great for what we needed. Cheap accommodation with any food/ drink we might need in the service restaurants next to the hotel. Bedroom basic but again everything you might need for a night. Clean and modern. And very sound-proofed! Couldn't hear any noise from outside or from rooms next door. My son's room was next to mine and we knocked on the walls and couldn't hear it! Unfortunately, the inconsiderate people talking in the corridor at 7am, we could hear! But that's not the hotel's fault but an issue in pretty much any hotel in the world!

No sockets next to the beds.

Comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet, helpful staff, and (once VRN registered) ability to come and go from the site (i.e. for meetings / meals) via the rear staff entrance. Very reasonably priced.

If not accessing from the Motorway, (I had an evening meeting that required me to exit and return via the rear access route) it was not possible to get back to the hotel carpark due to one way system ...luckily found a space near staff parking at the rear of the building, adjacent to the lorry/coach park, but suspect this won't always be available?

Proximity to NEC, room was comfortable enough and request for two close rooms granted, although not the connecting rooms, which baffles me as to why not? (opposite rooms on corridor provided) also pet friendly, but, at a cost.

Unfortunately there was a power cut during our stay, so as you can imagine waking up and trying to get ready in the dark was really uncomfortable and inconvenient. This was out of their control, but have yet to have a response from management /head office although email sent. room ok, found stale food in corner so not vacuumed well. Noisy traffic, especially on the lorry park side. Thin walls/connecting rooms/doors so noisy from neighbouring rooms, resulting in poor sleep :(

Nice size room V clean bathroom with nice hot water Environment-friendly facilities. Quick checkin + checkout without having to stand in a queue for a long time. Quiet and peaceful so v relaxing. Good facilities in room/bathroom.

Out of their control but I had to go to next junction of motorway and come back round heading north to access the accomo-n. Greater access to a person who is an expert on wifi/internet would have helped [I have BT Wifi at my house and this fact clashed with The BT Wifi router settings at the hotel, so I could not access the internet on my laptop despite trying various options incl. changing port, changing wireless channel, shifting to manual DNS setting, pinging, etc. A tech helpline would have helped!

I travelled with my disabled mother. She needed an adapted room and I asked for a room nearby. We were given adjacent rooms just inside the entrance on the ground floor with a disabled parking bay right outside. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for.

This hotel is at a motorway service station. There are no facilities at the hotel and the nearby catering is: Starbucks; Burger King and KFC. There is also a small Waitrose which sells fresh food. So the ambience and immediate area are not great, but it is a service station after all and hardly the hotel's fault.

Accessible room was good - plenty of space, good toilet/shower facilities, bed was comfy. Staff were friendly enough on check in but didnt really see anyone at all after that, but we didn't need to.

When booking (3 rooms) we had asked for the rooms to be together but they ended up actually being nowhere near each other and on different floors which was slightly frustrating as we had been told it would be no problem. We didn't use the services except for coffee in the morning which was fine, but its not the easiest getting to places from one side of the M6 as you end up doing a 20 minute round trip.

The room was a nice size, the bathroom also quite big. The shower was huge and nice and hot. Plenty of tea and coffee. Nice thick curtains and the door felt secure. The big bed (family room) was comfy and really clean, big soft pillows. I have never seen such a clean kettle! Very clean bathroom and plenty of towels. Lots of lights, bright and softer wall lighting. Reception were lovely people, very polite and helpful.

The small bed had a big stain on the sheet which was off putting. There was only one double socket by the mirror, nowhere near the bed and everything else was hardwired. I understand that the place is a service station and a truck stop so expected outside noise, but the extractor fans were on all night, I guess from other rooms as our light and fan was off, this was noisy and made sleeping difficult for me, my daughter slept fine though. It’s the same in nearly all hotels but there is nowhere to put your clean clothes when you have a shower, apart from the floor or on the toilet.
