All the staff in general did their best with what they are givin and are helpful and friendly.The cleaning staff also work hard and the place feels nice to sit in(especially the big garden area at the back)

The manager who is on nightshift is often rude or ignores you standing at an empty bar,or has something to say about almost anything you ask which is extra to him and since it's him and only him that is available at bar and reception it can be frilustrating dealing with him if he decides to make your request for a twinnings peppermint tea bag a big deal! Sometimes you will be told only card payments then if he is doing cash outs it changes to only cash so again the guy is probably out his depth but other than crappy managers the place is actually decent and the have loads of great reception staff.

The hotel itself was fine. We didn't make use of the breakfast facilities. But did enjoy a quiet drink in the bar. The staff were lovely. The hotel is in walking distance of the arena.

When first arriving at first glance the room was ok clean and well presented however it was missing the mini fridge and the kettle was in a strange spot with no plug so we had to move it to the other side of the room. I was happy to ignore this until trying to have a shower to get ready. The shower was barely a trickle I was unable to wash my hair. I did make a complaint to the front desk and whilst I was out we were moved rooms.

Clean and very comfortable, modern rooms with instant hot water, fridge and large bed. Arrived at late hour and was instantly given room key by present staff member so I could go straight to bed. Was able to extend my checkout time by several hours on request as I needed additional sleep, found the hotel/room was a nice place to be and would stay again. Noticed a gym on site too, which was soundproofed from the rooms/hallways which were very quiet. Helpful/polite staff. Nice temperature (can be controlled) and blackout curtains. Good parking.

This may not be the fault of the hotel or staff, but one of my possessions fell out of my backpack on my way from the front door to my room in the building, and was not around when I woke up the next morning and went to look for it. It may yet turn up, could have been moved by a member of the public/another guest, but the staff member at reception was very helpful in the morning and told me to call in 2 days time to see if it had been found - she also said that it would be possible for the hotel to post it back to me, which I would rate as very good service. The item is not valuable enough to warrant theft.

I was initially allocated a ground floor room but the receptionist totally understood that as a solo female traveller I was not comfortable with this and moved me to a 1st floor room. The room was bright spacious and incredibly comfortable as well as being extremely quiet - I slept like a log which I rarely do in a hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. If I am on business in this area again I will definitely return

If maybe at breakfast it was explained what the options were and made clear that there were china cups for your tea/coffee (I didn't have a hot drink because all I saw were the paper cups

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious , clean and the facilities in the room were excellent. It was a very pleasant surprise to see a fridge in the room for guests to use - very helpful and useful. Great that the hotel allows dogs (for a fee). The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom is good and it's helpful that the toilet is in a separate room.

The wi-fi was terrible unfortunately. I could not connect my streaming device to it and I couldn't even connect my phone to it. It would be good to upgrade the wi-fi. I could see that the signal was weak when it came up as an option on my phone. There was no bin in the toilet room, this would be helpful for sanitary products.

Room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. Separate shower room and toilet. Very friendly, polite staff. Good choice of food in the restaurant/bar and reasonably priced too. Very tasty! Large beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast was good, with a variety of hot and cold foods and eggs cooked to order. Easy to find, just off the M6. Ample parking for guests, £5 per night charge.

The separate toilet in my room was quite stinky. I kept the door shut but when in there it smelt like sewers.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Play area for kids in the garden

The rooms were so noisy. We had a room which joined into another by a door and the people next door were still up at well past midnight. I had a 3 year old and a dog and in the end I had to go knock on the door and ask them to please keep it down. Also when I went to use the phone to complain to the hotel the room phone didn’t work and there was a special code which you had to put in that someone had annoyingly ripped off.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially as we were able to use one of the rooms slightly early to leave bags in while we set up at the nearby exhibition! Breakfast was good!

The TV was very complicated - the sound was very loud coming out of a speaker when I turned it on and it took me some while to direct to the screen so I could lower the volume. Hence I was very reluctant to turn it on for morning news before breakfast! The toilet and bathroom being separate - it is inconvenient for hand washing afterwards and makes me wonder how many people don't bother handwashing before leaving their room. A major hygiene thing for me especially after Covid!

Absolutely lovely lady on reception. Took note of how exhausted we were after our journey, and let us take our time, whilst also facilitating cold water which was very much needed, thank you. She also changed our room to be accommodating to mobility problems. Very appreciative of the chiller in our room as we had a tot with us who still drinks milk as a meal

Very much not the staff doing it, but the other patrons were very much not aware of how much noise they were making when coming back to the hotel late. Lots of banging of doors, loud, excitable chatting. I suspect our original rooms would have been away from that, but I'm still happier that I didn't have to walk much.

The interior of the hotel and room was lovely and clean. Very spacious and ample amount of plug sockets at every common point in the room. The hotel could do with an exterior makeover though. The staff were lovely and talkative, the air control system was so good as it had numerous settings to help climatise the room to your personal needs.

The TV could have been bigger and more modern. No netflix app which i think should be standard for most hotels these days, The remote didnt work, (literally the on button and thats all) The lamp didn't work as we wanted to use it as our main night light but has to resort to something else in th room. So i think that was just for show. Shower gel was empty, which was annoying as me and my partner were both in a rush and were relying on those facilities just to find they weren't available or replenished
