This lovely little gem is probably the best place to stay in the area. The host's Helen & Nigel have made everything as welcoming and perfect as you could hope for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was spotless and very comfortable with all amenities and a fantastic bathroom. Delicious breakfast with vegetarian options. Helen and Nigel are the loveliest people, very professional but equally down to earth and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clyde View to anyone visiting the area. Thankyou for a really wonderful 3 days.

Spotlessly clean accommodation. Here is somewhere the owners take a pride in and work hard to maintain high standards. Highly recommended. A perfect room, bedroom 3, all the equipment and accessories necessary, comfortable, not intrusive on questions as a guest, lovely breakfast, parking brilliant off road and a lovely view. If only every B&B was like this one. There was even a moderate (larger than small) fridge in the bedroom. No fussy rules either about taking shoes off as in some places I have stayed in. Thank you.

Nothing whatsoever.

I stayed in Room 3, twin room with bath. The owners have thought of everything to make a guests stay as pleasant as possible. Warm welcome, Small cabinet fridge in the room with fresh milk in it. :-) Plenty of drinks to choose from, including decaf tea. :-) Lots of piping hot water, liquid soap provided, thick fluffy towels, bath mat, GREAT natural light in the bathroom from the huge skylight. Ideal room temperature, with ABSOLUTELY STUNING views over Holy Loch. Off street parking. :-) It is clear that the owners of this property have given GREAT THOUGHT into how to make their guest's stay as pleasant as possible and as far as I was concerned, they have succeeded in that endeavour 100%.

The bacon was a little dried out (a bain-marie would sort this if cooked in advance) and I didn't like the taste of vinegar on my poached egg (which was cooked perfectly). I think most guests would be happy to wait a few minutes for bacon to be cooked fresh, rather cooked to a time, because even the slightest of delays can cause it to dry out. Both the Scottish and Vegetarian breakfasts were lovely though. Everything was piping hot, delicious and fresh. :-)

Gorgeous views from the front onto the Clyde, and from the bedroom onto the beautiful garden (complete with atmospheric lighting) Lovely clean room, good size, comfortable and fully furnished with tea, coffee (with decaf options for both), milk and biscuits, and equipped with a mini fridge. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and I was delighted to find they were using Stornoway Black Pudding. The hosts were delightful, perfect balance of most helpful (answered all our questions about the excursion/route we had planned that day) and non-intrusive. Would absolutely return if I was back in the area

I really can't fault the place or the hosts in any way. If I absolutely had to think of something that wasn't a positive point it would have to be the shape of the (otherwise gorgeous wooden) headrest on the bed, we couldn't help but bump the back of our heads when we were sitting on the bed as it feels like it should be further back. Not even a minor inconvenience, really

The location is outstanding and beautiful. The property is outstanding and the host extremely friendly and welcoming. The ferry terminal is nearby and Argyll Forest also. Absolutely gorgeous views and walks. The house is exemplary - clean and very homely. Host is a smashing fellow and really made an effort to welcome me as a guest. Breakfast was very tasty and generous portions. I had to leave for work but could have stayed there all week. I’ll visit again for holiday.

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast provided was delicious, wide range of choices to suit all tastes and served very efficiently. Nigel & Helen were very kind and chatty hosts, and helped me with any requests I had. The room had all amenities you'd expect, and the bedding was very comfortable. The en suite bathroom had a good shower and quality towels. Location is 10 minutes from the Dunoon ferry and with a spectacular view of the Holy Loch from the front of the house. An ideal base for touring the beautiful area of Argyll, with many stunning forest walks a stones throw away by car or bicycle.

Hosts gave us a warm welcome & explained the set up. Our rooms were beautifully furnished with many thoughtful touches. Beds were really comfortable, everything was clean and the bathrooms were exceptional. Our breakfasts were delicious- exactly what we had asked for. We were even played our favourite music during breakfast! This is somewhere we would love to return to.

The property was right on the waterfront with an amazing view. Both Nigel and Helen were great and accommodating. There was an issue with my booking, and they were very helpful in sorting it out and also got our breakfast ready earlier than the agreed time due to last-minute changes to our travel plan
