Breakfast was the best ever! Amazing choice, pretty much everything! Staff worked very hard to please everyone. Our daughter loved the play room - a huge plus that no hotels have. Excellent for us to give us a wee break. The room has everything we wanted, very confused and quiet and great to have a sofa bed for the Wee one. Location - we struggled to get to Paltons park and had to use taxis too many times.

Location Not great for little legs to walk to the bus stop, it took us 5 hours to travel both ways to the Palton park and the taxi drivers were a joke charging up to £35 one way.

When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who checked us in and gave us all the information we needed about booking dinner and booking a slot in the pool. The room was so clean and with a great super king bed. The pool facilities were really good and easy to book. The staff at the bar and restaurant were fantastic and we enjoyed our food. At check in, they gave my daughter a little card which entitled her to cookies and milk to take up to the room for bed which was such a lovely touch. We slept really well in the bed and there were some great options for breakfast. I was initially, slightly put off by the location, as it's located right in the middle of junctions with lots of traffic lights but honestly, have been really impressed.

I had a truly delightful and relaxing stay at the Holiday Inn Southampton Eastleigh. The location was perfect - convenient yet peaceful, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. As a parent, I was particularly impressed with how toddler-friendly the hotel was, offering a fantastic kids' playroom and an indoor swimming pool that kept my little one entertained for hours. The breakfast spread was another highlight-well-organized, with a great variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it for families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay with excellent service and amenities.

Hotel Review We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed our experience. We chose this place because it has a pool and a children’s playroom, which are important for a family trip with a child. The breakfasts were quite good, offering a decent variety. The pool area was comfortable, and the sauna and hammam were working well, which added to the relaxation. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel. The food was tasty, although the menu options were somewhat limited.

However, there are a couple of things that could be improved. The children’s playroom wasn’t cleaned often enough—it was consistently messy and not very tidy, which was disappointing. Another concern was the sofa beds in the rooms. When unfolded, the metal supports stick out at the edges, making them look unsafe for a child to sleep on. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but with these small adjustments, the experience could have been even better.

Room was excellent, almost like a flat than a hotel room and was perfect for my family (2 adults, a 3 year old and a 1 year old) - Cot was clean and a good size. At dinner, the night we stayed, my son, unfortunately, projectile vomited and the staff were so nice and helpful as I got the area cleaned up and my wife took the kids back to the room. They put tin foil over my wife's unfinished meal so I could take it up to her when the wreckage had been cleared. The play area downstairs was also excellent, full of toys and TVs for the kids to watch, my wife and I read our books while the kids ran around playing.

Nothing I feel is worth mentioning.

The room was fabulous, loved the big bed, wet room, and the big television. The facilities were lovely, we enjoyed the pool. The food was really tasty, bit outside my budget but worth the money. Breakfast was lovely too. The whole feel of the dining room was cosy and i felt at home.

Please pay attention when you book the timing for meals. I asked to book breakfast at 9 am, which was done correctly for the first day. Second day the timing was incorrectly booked for 8 am, i was told i had lost my slot. I insisted that the mistake was your side, and i was given a table.

The location for Peppa Pig World was brilliant. Only about a 20 minute drive. The staff on reception where really helpful making sure we had early check in after travelling before heading to the park. The spa and restaurant staff are really friendly and helpful too. We had a comfortable stay after a busy day and we would stay again.

The food. It wasn't a great experience. The lady on shift that night was obviously very stressed after having a busy day looking after a wedding so didn't want to bother her with minor complaints. Me and my partner have both worked in hospitality and knew she didn't need more negativity. But the pizza I ordered had no bbq sauce on my partners pasta had no flavour we was sold a side salad to be then told there was no dressing. But we ate it and just moved on. Breakfast on the other hand was lovely.

The staff here are amazing! So welcoming and helpful. The hotel is clean and the breakfast offering is really good for the standard of hotel too. Just goes to show that customer service can make the biggest difference to a stay.

It's an occupational hazard visiting here, but it is a partner hotel for Peppa Pig World and appear to have lots of families with young kids (some much better behaved than others, and that is just the parents!) On our last visit, one family was even going behind the bar and taking drinks without paying for them. Screaming kids are not my thing. There is a quiet area which is better for breakfast or opt for outside if the weather is on your side.

Loved the room very modern, clean and enough space. Loved the Childrens play room, which was playing Peppa Pug on the TV. Great if you’re visiting Peppa Pig World which isn’t very far. Loved the swimming pool. The restaurant evening menu was excellent, staff lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. It was also our daughter’s 3rd birthday and the breakfast staff had brought out a lovely little cake with a message.

Booking online made it difficult as it didn’t show options for the Queen room with sofa bed when searching for 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant, however when just searching for 2 adults and 1 child it came up and then I was able to add on a cot (which wasn’t supplied by the way, however this wasn’t a problem for us as we brought our own from home in the end, but could have been an issue if we hadn’t).

Rachel on reception on night 1 and 2 of our stay (I think that was her name) was absolutely fantastic! She was clear and helpful upon checking in and remembered us on our arrival back into the hotel on day two which was wonderful and so unexpected at a large hotel. Fantastic service.

The price of food and drink was a little OTT but sadly expected. Also we could hear the room next door mainly using the hair dryer at 6am! And the chatting up and down the corridor. Can't be helped I guess but was a little annoying when we wanted a lie in.
