The decor was lovely as was the breakfast. The staff were very helpful resolving issues we had with a faulty TV. They also provided extra bedding as the room was cold when we arrived.

The room was billed as Accessible and certainly the bathroom had a lowered basin, roll in shower and shower chair, all good. However, the room was tiny. It wasn't really suitable for a standard wheelchair user as there wasn't enough space to manoeuvre once in the room whilst trying to open the door. You had to back in and out of the bathroom, which was also very small. No big enough! The room was very cold when we arrived and took a while to warm up

We stayed in the Executive Suite which is amazing. Lovely big bedroom, huge bathroom and spacious living room with tv, fridge, coffee&tea. All staff were so nice, really friendly and made us feel so welcome we didn’t want to leave. Jackie on reception is an absolute sweetheart and Paul the manager was a real gentleman both go out of their way to make your stay a happy, pleasant experience. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from and the cappuccino is lovely. We ate at the restaurant twice and both times our starters and meals were delicious. We are hoping to visit again soon.

We stay in different hotels. This one far exceeded the others. All the staff, without exception, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless, The bedroom met all expectations and was very comfortable. All meals were perfect with a good variety of meals on offer. The prices charged were fair and reasonable. The views from the hotel were great. It was an excellent three night stay. Many a time I am glad to get out of the place we stay at, but we could have easily stayed the week at this hotel. Thank you to all staff. You were welcoming which made the hotel perfect in every respect.

There was absolutely nothing to fault which is a first. Nothing at all - no dust anywhere, everything clean, meals hot, places to sit and relax including an outside terrace sitting in the sun, quiet nights, perfect.

Absolutely fantastic stay, on arrival we had been advanced to an executive room without any extra charge, the staff were absolutely fine and very polite friendly, we are looking forward to our next stay before Christmas, absolutely a stunning location that suits us to a tee with having family in the vicinity, family joined us for afternoon food then an evening meal that was absolutely delicious.

Can't fault it at all, the room was great the shower was amazing, bed one of the most comfortable ever, nice and warm , facilities great.

Number 56 which we stayed in was very quite.

Just the around the doors and some marks on the wall needed cleaning, and they wasn't anywhere to put your clothes when getting in the shower, had to put them on the floor,a little plastic buffet would of been good, plus they was not a hook to hang your towel on when shaving. Besides all that the bathroom was ultra modern, the bed was great had a lovely 😴 and the breakfast was fantastic and when we come to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 again we would like to stop again, thankyou again for a lovely stay.

This is no way near a 3 star we have been lucky enough to stay in a lot of 5 star hotels and some have not been has nice as this Room we stayed in was a little dated but spotless and it was only the carpet that made it look dated we chose the cheaper room because it was only a over night stay But what a little Gem we found to the point we are going back next week and in the summer holidays Rooms are all being updated Paul the manger showed us the rooms that have been done and there working around the hotel and they look fab Food wise omg myself and partner were in a food coma both evening meal and breakfast was amazing The staff waitress and waiters were just so friendly and professional Paul the manger nothing was to much he was there at breakfast greeting everyone Jacky on reception really friendly The whole place and atmosphere was just so nice and then you have the added bonus of the Spar Both my partner and I would definitely recommend It’s the little things that make a difference and from Manger and his staff do this in abundance nothing is to much for them

The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. A large bed and adequate storage space for clothes and cases. The bathroom was clean with plentiful hot water and toiletries. Quick kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was superb both cold continental fruit pastries and meat and cheese buffet followed by a full English. Dinner the night before was also a pleasant experience - serving staff very attentive - limited menu butt well cooked. Very good views across the River Dee with Liverpool cathedral on the horizon.

The view from our bedroom window was disappointing - a small raised garden and garden wall.

Bed was really comfortable, room was nice and clean. We had food and I had the best chicken burger I've ever had! The valentine's cocktails were really nice too. I had booked a treatment for my husband for just after a check out time and I got to wait in the relaxation room instead of aimlessly roaming around waiting. Staff were really nice in all departments. Husband said it was the best massage he's ever had, that coupled with the burger, we will definitely be back. Perfect overnight trip away, not too far from home in case the children needed us. Perfect.

Nice environment and the food is amazing.

You can hear everything from the other rooms. If you are unlucky as happened to us, you might have someone walking on your head all night long keeping you awake since the pavement is badly cracking. When I have suggested the stuff during the checkout to inform the customers to respect the others, I didn't see any reaction. A bit controversial since this should be a place where to relax and sleep well

This was the closest accommodation we could find when attending the 2023 Open at Royal Liverpool GC. It was unfortunately a good 40mins away from the park and ride facilities but we had limited choice as our previously booked hotel cancelled on us. The positives were the price, the charging facilities for our EV and the decent hotel restaurant. The staff were also very attentive.

The family room was very basic. The extra bed which was set up for our 14 year old son was very uncomfortable for him. The room was advertised as a family room, when really it was just a basic double bed room with a fold up bed.
